I have been going to this dentist for about a year now. I am very impressed with the great service and excellent customer service. This is a place where they great you with a smile and make you feel like you are family. They remember your name and just talks to you about your concerns and well being. I love my dentist❤️❤️ I have recently relocated to Atlanta however,I still come to Milwaukee for my dental appointments. Great place!!

We were traveling and had an emergency dental issue. This office was a true life saver! Brittany talked us through the whole process when we called and had us pre-approved before we even arrived. She helped in so many ways to make the visit fast so we could get back on the road. Dr Michael did a thorough exam and skillful procedure. Wish this office was closer to our home, because they would be our new dental providers!

Office staff are all very friendly and professional, Salma worked with me during my arrival to get checked in and the process was extremely easy and got me in to see my hygienist and dentist quickly. Additionally at the end of the visit Salma was great letting me choose what steps I wanted to take for my dental care plan. My dental hygienist Cali was awesome as well, she made my appointment enjoyable, gave me great feedback on dental care, and was very time efficient. Dr. Monteagudo is the best, he makes sure I am always comfortable and well taken care of, in addition he keeps up on the state of the art dental methods. Overall, great dentist.

Office staff are all very friendly and professional, the office is very clean and its a great location with easy parking. I had 4 extractions all at the same time, the whole thing took less than an hour. It was amazing, and I would definitely use them again. The service was more like fine art than medicine. I say this because I had 4 extractions all at once ... 6 hours later and I had zero pain. It has now been about 24 hours since my extractions and my mouth feels as if nothing had even been done to it. I am feeling zero pain, and zero discomfort. I am really impressed. I will also note that while I am not a dentist, my sister has been a dentist for 30 years and now teaches dentistry. So, I am somewhat familiar with dentistry. The only difficulty I experienced was some confusion when interacting with their after-hours answering service. After reading the negative reviews it seems like that could have been a similar issue for others. My honest opinion is that they do excellent work and I would most certainly go back. I am actually amazed that I had 4 extractions, 2 of them were wisdom teeth, and it is just 24 hours later and my mouth feels exactly as if nothing had even happened. I had a dental emergency early Monday morning Gave them a call around 7:30am. Set an appointment for 10am same day. Was retrieved from waiting area very quickly by an awesome DA Gin :) X-rays, exam, anesthesia, and extraction took less than 45minutes. Dr. Mike exceeded any expectations I had when making this appointment. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. M and the staff are great. I paid for my sons services in advance with a promise that my insurance would be billed. Two months later nothing has been submitted to my insurance and I am out $2500. I have called so many times to follow up but no results. They promise to follow up but there has been little to no action.

As soon as you walk in they greet you and make you feel comfortable. The ladies at the desk are helpful and funny. My experience with the dental hygienist was great! She is very professional and sweet. It had been some time since I’ve gotten my teeth checked out because I was always so scared, but this was different. The dentist made me feel comfortable, and went into detail about my teeth and at the end the majority of my treatment plan was covered by my insurance. If you’re scared to go to the dentist, this is that place for you! He is amazing and so are his staff.

I don’t know why this place has good reviews. The hygienist is awful and the dentist could care less about his patients. The hygienist kept taking off her mask rubbing her face and then going back to do work in my mother’s mouth. The doctor said that he could fix an implant with no problem charged my mother a lot of money, basically hammered the implant back in, and when it fell out a couple months later, he refuses to re-compensate her even partially. She is a terminally ill woman who just wanted to fix her tooth and spent months of income to get this fixed only for it to fall out a couple months later. All money with these people. Shameful.

I was looking for a good dentist after mine retired. Im very choosy about who I go to. I tried Wisconsin Smiles and wasnt disappointed at all. The staff is friendly, Kari is WONDERFUL, and I cant say enough good things about Dr. Mike. They are very reasonably priced, as well.

When my implant wouldnt take bc I have the worse luck Dr Monteagudo did everything he could to get me my tooth and I couldnt be happier about it. I was never charged extra bc he guaranteed his work. I would give 10-stars if I could. To start, I have extreme dental phobia stemming from awfully aggressive and unprofessional dentists I had as a kid. So, as I got older, I went less and less, eventually not going for almost 10 yr. Although in those 10-years I took great care of my teeth, I recently came into having some tooth sensitivity that became a bit too much to tolerate day to day. I bit the bullet, called in and from the moment I got to talk to Enid on the phone, I felt safe and reassured. Starting at the receptionists, who were all comforting and beyond kind. They made the paperwork easy too. Dr. Montegudo (sorry for spelling) was amazing, as was his assistant Kary (sorry for spelling). They understood the phobia and worked with me on it. Dr. M told me everything I needed to know and we came up with a dental action plan together. Both of them were warm & inviting and I felt nothing but relief to know that they were accommodating to my fear and now I have another appointment Aug. 17th to get what needs fixing taken care of. I would 10/10 recommend this office and team to anyone.

It seems to be very rare to find ethics, customer service, fair prices, and pure talent all in one place anymore. However, I have found a hidden gem called Wisconsin Smiles. Dr. Robert has an amazing talent when it comes to modern dentistry. I’m a huge wuss when it comes to pain and going to the dentist, but Robert and his staff make me feel so at ease. Dr. Robert takes the time to speak with you and he doesn’t treat you like a number or a human ATM. This is what I love most about his office. I highly recommend you consider his business when choosing who you will allow to work on your smile. Also, I want to say thank you to Barb who did a great job on my laser treatments for my gums. Finally a DR who understands TMJ. TMJ was one of the worst things i ever went through. Constant headaches, ear ringing, ear pressure finally gone after going to WisconsinSmiles. Nice, clean office, friendly staff, but DR listens to you, friendly, caring, and truly understands TMJ! I highly recommond WisconsinSmiles if you are experiencing TMJ.

My wife and I have been seeing Doctor Monteagudo for many years for routine dental work. Him and his staff have always provided excellent service. Always available for emergency dental service as well (like when I chipped my tooth a week before my wedding!). We wouldn’t go to any other dentist.

PLEASE READ so that you are aware of the potential long term issues you may encounter with this dentist.Initially, this was the first good dental experience I ever had. All of my lifelong anxieties with dental work were completely erased by the experiences I had with this dentist. For that reason only, I gave a second star - though I truly wish I wasnt leaving a bad review, but I feel its important people know how this business operates in the long term.After giving them literally tens of thousands of dollars in 2013 - the majority of some inheritance money I received - to fix old problems and place veneers, bridges, caps etc - I have had multiple issues that my current dentist and other specialists have stated were ABSOLUTELY due to the workmanship done by this dentist.My front three teeth got veneers and when the work was done it was done so roughly that the roots in all 3 teeth became infected and died. The infection literally ate away at my skull. I had to shell out almost $3000 to have a specialist do root canals and facial scans and will need follow up scans. If my skull hasnt grown back, I will need a bone graft.I also had a bridge that was NEVER sealed properly. Again, an infection under the bridge set in since it wasnt sealed off. The bridge had to be destroyed in order to clean out the infection and I will now need to shell out $4000 for a new bridge bc my insurance wont cover it since the tooth was pulled before I got this insurance.When this all started, I called, was placed on hold for 10 min, and then the woman who answered came back on and the ONLY answer I got was that I was outside the time that they guarantee their work, despite the fact that the first time I called it was outside that time frame by 6 months. They also said had I come to them for follow ups they could have done something. I had moved and this wasnt possible. I have called and left messages THREE more times AND sent an email in hopes of speaking with the man I handed nearly $30k to for work.I DO understand that dentistry isnt an exact science and things do happen. But I am now having to shell out what will end up being between $7-10k to repair or replace work that other dental professionals have all agreed was NOT done correctly by this dentist, and, after giving them tens of thousands of dollars, the dentist himself cant even be bothered to speak with me, let alone try to make this right. He has time for weeks long vacations and to give away giant flat screen TVs in raffles for referrals, but he doesnt have time to talk to someone who paid him A LOT of money and is now having to pay A LOT of money again due to the work done at HIS business that wasnt up to parr?Yes, they are all nice. Yes, he and others there specialize in making you feel comfortable, even if you normally have a lot of anxiety with dentists. Thats all wonderful. But he CLEARLY doesnt stand by his work and CLEARLY doesnt believe in doing what is right.And yes, I will be using letters from my current dentists and the other specialists Ive seen that state that the work was faulty,to file a claim against him in Wisconsin and am working with a small claims attorney as well.

BEST DENTIST IVE BEEN TO. It was such a nice experience (which is shocking for a dentist). The lobby and staff are very welcoming and comforting. The main dentist I had made the experience very enjoyable by a step by step talk through, providing small talk, and watching tv in comforting rooms. He also believes in numbing shots/ gell. I barley felt a thing and I had 2 cavities filled and a whole root canal. AMAZING ALL AROUND!

I Went In With A Horrible Tooth Ache To The Point I Was Crying , The Assistant I Believe Her Name Was Tina Got Me Right In And Did Some Xrays We Determined The Problem And Got Right To The Point . D’hondt one on the dentist came in and directed me thru the numbing method that I was so scared to go thru alone ... him and his assistant talked me right through it and we got this tooth removed , the were friendly , nice , we had good conversations which made me and my boyfriend feel like we’ve been coming here forever .. I was very comfortable when I had my appointment. They had free choices of something to drink and everyone is so friendly! They offered me music or TV to watch, pillows n blankets to be comfy. They explain everything very well and answered all of my questions. They even gave me a tour of the office!! Its very up to date with technology which means a lot to me! THE VERY BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!The staff at this office are some of the most kind and professional people I’ve ever met. They seriously focus on the patient’s comfort. I have always had a great fear of dentists , which has caused me to neglect my teeth in the past. Dr . Fine ( spelling may be incorrect) and his assistant Martha have layed those fears to rest. I had a tooth extracted today , and while the procedure was taking place , I kept bracing for some form of pain which never came ... and before I could think about it again, the procedure was completed. I will be having more cosmetic work done with them in the very near future. If there is such a thing as a great dental experience , I can honestly say that I had one today.

I was experiencing some tooth pain. I have not had problems with pain in the past. I called and was able to get in within a day. The staff was very helpful and informative. I ended up needing a root canal; my very first. Explaining every bit of the process was very reassuring. I felt no discomfort. Very pleased with the over all care and results so far. Excellent dental office and would highly recommend.

I went in last week after a long time of avoiding the dentist. I walked in, was greeted by name and anxiously awaited for my visit to be over(because, you know, its the dentist). Much to my surprise, the whole experience was amazing. I ended up having to go back the next day to finish the initial exam, and my anxiety was not present. I was comfortable and they made the visit as quick and painless as they possibly could. They explained what was going on in my mouth in a way I could understand. Hands down, was my favorite trip to the dentist ever, and honestly, I cant wait to go back!Oh, and because of another patient, Dr. Monteagudo offered me a bottle of wine to take home! Made my day!

I have been coming to Dr. Monteagudo for about 7 years now (maybe more?) and he and his staff have been nothing but nice to me! I have always had THE BIGGEST fear of dentists but coming here has really helped to take my fears away. They have worked with me, made me comfortable always, have sedation (which I have used!), and truly make sure I have always been taken care of. Amazing experience at my first visit to this office -- the Doctor did a 3D scan on a problem crown I have and discovered it was infected and is filling up one of my sinuses!! Wow , I cannot say enough about this place. After avoiding the dentist for years I finally decided to get my teeth in check and healthy again. Dr. M and his team are incredible. This dental office is awesome. I have had numerous dentists over the years and no one even comes close to the dentists here. Dr H is truly an artist and has keen vision and superb technique. I am a patient that has teeth that are easily susceptible to decay. I have had dentists make me feel embarrassed for the condition of my teeth. The team at Wisconsin smiles does not make you feel that way. They are just focused on making the best situation out of what you have. They are very professional and friendly. I recommend them to all my family and friends whenever I get the chance.

Catalina, Office Manager, goes above and beyond to make sure that all aspects of your care are covered. From simple dentistry (my husband) to full mouth reconstructions (my case), Dr and his staff have it covered in spades! I cannot possibly recommend them more!

When I first started going 4 years ago I was satisfied with the service. This past year I have been told that I needed an $800 retainer for my teeth grinding and that my insurance would cover none of it. I asked for other, less expensive options to which the dentist said no and I was taken to a room with someone to talk about how to pay for the retainer. I told them I would have to pass. My last visit after I was worked on by the Hygienist, the dentist had me just sitting there 45 mins (with the Hygienist giving him multiple reminders I was waiting) to come in and look at my teeth for 3 minutes before I could go. This was last a October. Just 3 days ago I recieved a bill for $25 with a $0.50, 90 late fee attatched. When I called the office with questions/to pay I was put on hold and transferred to leave a voicemail. Not hearing back I called next day and was transferred to a person who said theyd call me back that day. She didnt. I called again today to get a man who explained to me what the payment was for and took my payment in a very defensive and snippy way. Im not going back anymore. I feel that now that they are successful they dont care about the little people any more..

Dr Monteagudo did a fabulous job on my implant. Everyone at the office was friendly and professional. They explained every step of the procedure very well. My son had his wisdom teeth removed and again everything was flawless. I came because the price of the implant, but stayed because of Dr Monteagudo’s ( and staff) professional and carrying nature. The dental hygienist started crying when I asked her if my insurance was covering the visit, and when she said she didn’t know, I told her I didn’t want to be seen until I found out. (It was still 15 min prior to my appt.) she later than was talking about how she didn’t feel well. I felt bad, but she should’ve gone home. The dentist missed a small hole in my tooth, (2 weeks later I went to a different dentist) and they told me it was a good thing I saw it myself. The dentist himself was extremely rude and kept yelling in Spanish. He was also mad that I didn’t want to get XRays (I had just got them) and then they kept trying to get me to come back. It was my first time here & I won’t be coming back. My new dentist also told me the yellow on my teeth was from acid reflux, which I’m now on medication for. Dr. M told me it was because I had poor brushing habits even though I swore up and down I brush my teeth 2-3x a day. *they also have signs in their office that if you rate 5 stars you can get a $100 gift card, I wonder how many of these are fake.*

I have been seeing Dr M for the past 6 years, and have always had a good experience with him and his staff. As someone who never liked dentists (I had a bad experience as a kid) they seem to make you feel safe and comfortable. I have had several dental procedures done, all without pain and at convenient office hours that fit my schedule. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I cant say enough about how friendly the entire staff is at Wisconsin Smiles. The receptionists always greet you, the staff is willing to accommodate any requests, and Dr. Monteagudo is one of the friendliest people Ive ever met. I had Invisalign treatment completed and throughout the entire process his goal was to make sure I was happy with the results. I enjoyed the entire process and would recommend him to anyone!
