We are so happy with Dr. Reader and his staff . Dr. Readers services were amazing! He restored my husbands hearing from years of my husband nit being able to hear. His professionalism and his skills were impeccable. I was so impressed with his caring and how he prayed with us before going to surgery . We will never forget his words β€œ I’ll do my best snd God will do the rest β€œ those words gave us such comfort snd trust in his skills snd we were not disappointed . Talk about a marriage saver hee hee . Dr Reader we love you snd the hope you restored in us and now my husband can enjoy music and hear his grandbabies but especially hear me . Thank you Dr. Reader !!! Thank you Staff! Thank you Reid (audiologist) . You all were worth the travel from clovis to porterville!! May God bless your skills and continue to make miracles !! πŸ™πŸΌ

Ive had 2 cochlear implant surgeries with Dr. Reader, and both times Ive had no worries. Him and staff took great care of me made sure I knew everything I needed to know before hand. It was a delight to have my mom sit with prior to second surgery. And before anyone ask why 2 surgeries? I have 2 implants right and left. A few weeks after my second surgery I asked about the spot in my neck that has been giving me issues for years, and sure enough... he immediately went to work and found the issue. My headaches have been next to none since. Thank you to Dr. Reader and all staff.

I had an issue with enlarged turbinates and deviated septum. I wasnt able to breath and had really bad episodes like fainting, dizzy, etc. I went under surgery to fix issue with Dr Reader, but the surgery didnt work at all, it actually made things worst. He then schedules a clinic procedure on left nostril for better air flow, it didnt work. He then schedules endoscopy and as a result another procedure saying deviated septum issue is still a problem with local anesthesia he breaks nose and repositioned it, but this didnt work or help. After all these procedures I asked him to send me for an image testing to see how things look, turns out I had enlarged turbinates and deviated septum. Looked for a second opinion. Found Dr Allen Evans at Fresno, scheduled surgery and was successful!! Breathing great, no excuses just good results. I wouldnt recommend Dr Reader, be careful and dont waste time and money if you are not getting the results you are wanting, see a 2nd Dr for different opinion. Would like to see if I can sue him for malpractice!! Not sure how to do it though! Hope this helps someone so you dont go through what I did! Also Dr Reader never seem to care about my input and how I felt. Lastly on last interaction I had with him he had his intern answer a question I had by phone, he didn’t bother to talk to me, intern did!

One of the worst experiences with a physician I have had. Bedside manner is nonexistent and respect for patient privacy is lacking. More concerned with what I was wearing than reading the notes from the nurse and referring physician as to why I was referred.

I have never seen this doctor but I just spoke with his receptionist, Anna B. and what a delight! She was friendly, patient and helpful. Every office in the world could benefit from an Anna B. Thank you.
