Awful place. The wait was 1 hour before I actually got to see the doctor and he wasnt even helpful. I went in for a boot for a broken ankle and foot. I waited in the waiting room for 45 mins with no one else there, when I went in to see the doctor I waited another 15 mins in the room, then when the doctor finally came in he asked me to remove my brace, scolded me for doing it wrong, and handed me a little shoe for my broken foot and told me to put it on. I told him I had and broken foot AND ankle he said I dont have a boot youll need to go get one yourself and walked out. Ive never had such an awful experience at a doctor office like this before. Ill never recommend this place to anyone.

The treatment itself and some of the staff were very nice. My mother had gotten into a car accident a while back and the hospital my mother was in chose him as her surgeon--again did a great job and was very informative. The reason why Im giving his office only 1 star is because during the visits my mom had with him, my car insurance was paying for those visits. The case closed and my mother decided to make a last appt and paid out of her own pocket--nothing wrong with that. The office set up another appt to which my mom canceled with very early notice so as not to be fined (Yes, they fine you if you cancel last minute). About a year later we receive a bill from Dr. Surdykas office claiming my mother had a balance of over $200...and for what?? My mom paid what was due while she visited him that last time. She got charged for NO REASON. First off, I called the office and his practice closed a YEAR AGO. I was told that the Dr. would be emailed and we would get contacted--THEY DID NOTHING OF THE SORT. They allowed my mothers bill to go to collections without informing us of ANYTHING. Unprofessional and I will be sure to take legal action for this!

I woke up this morning w some shoulder pain and Dr. Surdyka was the first person i thought of to call. I dont understand why his ratings are so low. He is an amazing surgeon and a great man. I couldnt have been blessed w a better doctor. Thank you so much doctor and to the awesome staff ✌

Set up an new patient apt. Got a call from an unprofessional and unintelligent receptionist. Was told I would not be seen until I had an X-Ray done. I explained I already had one done, plus an MRI and the lady rudely replies that the Dr. needs one with me standing not lying down. I said nothing is broken. We go back and forth and she loudly says “so you want to cancel your appointment?!”. How unprofessional! Finding another Doctor.

I recommend finding another doctor.Dr Surdyka performed 2 surgeries on me (youd think Id learn after the first one) and I can honestly say Id be better off not having the procedures.The 1st one on my knee I excused because its probably arthritis. The second procedure was on my thumb and it is worse now than before the A-1 pulley release! The numbness and tingly from a nerve being stretched during surgery drive me mad on a daily basis!!I strongly advise anyone reading this to find another doctor.

My first visit with the doctor was very pleasant he is a very caring doctor and explains and takes his time with you. I would recommend him.

Dr Surdykas staff was absolutely horrible! They quoted us $150.00 for the initial visit, and they told us if we brought our X-Rays in a few days prior (our emergency room visit X-rays) then they would call us if the visit would cost more than $150.00. We brought our X-Rays in 3 days prior like they asked. When we came to our appointment the girl @ the desk said they didnt have our X-rays, and before even finding the X-rays they said the minimum fee for our visit would be $400.00. We explained that we had no insurance, and that they quoted us $150.00. The Dr said to us (as he was passing by): No, Im certain my staff would not have quoted you $150.00- implying that we were lying, or trying to weasel our way down to a lower price! I found that very insulting. He should train his staff better, let them deal with that sort of thing, and NOT imply that his patients are dishonest. I found that very tacky! The girl at the front desk (the one who told us they lost our X-rays) was very rude, and treated us like unwelcome and uninvited guests. I would have walked out, but I didnt want to take even more time off work. Dr Surdykas staff was EXTREMELY RUDE AND INCOMPETENT. I got a really cool wrist brace though, and after they got done being rude, they decided to be nicer for a few minutes.

My mother had gone in today .I went with her the office was extremely clean the girls at the desk were so nice smiles intire time The Doctor was very nice pleasant , He listen to every word my mom said He asked her about her pain he asked alot of questions to make sure they were on the same page He said she needed surgery but also gave her other options He was nice, my husband is having surgery I will definitely go to him as far as the bad review he got I cannot imagine him acting lime that we had a wonderful experience

I finally got relief of pain after suffering for 2 yrs and 5 dr later thank u .need surgery he explained it to me and was very kind .his staff is friendly kind and always willing to help. Thank you all !

Receptionist is extremely rude! I called to cancel an appointment due to an emergencyI was told I had to pay $50 for broken appointment fee (which I was not aware of when I intially scheduled the appointment) wouldnt have made a difference because it was out of our control, but I believe patients should be aware of (extra fees)Which is extremely sneaky, and the way it was handled was very unprofessional!This was supposed to be our first visitTerrible first impression (patient is a disabled elderly lady)Receptionist needs to be retrained or replaced! poor costumer service skills

Horrible experience! Doctor was short-tempered, until he LOST his temper. He too briefly looked at my knee, said physical therapy--again--and didnt care to ask about my issues. Then when my husband suggested that I had already done PT and have fallen further injuring my knee because my knee gives out, and asked if checking my knee further was a possibility to see what exactly can be done, the doctor lost his temper and began pounding his fist on the counter in the exam room. He stated that he was sick of patients questioning him and that if they dont agree with him, why dont they go somewhere else?! I was frightened and obviously did not return for follow up. I hope this doctor gets some help of his own before something bad happens to either a patient or himself.
