This is section 8 housing complex, if you do not know what that is look it up. What it means is the avg family or person will not be accepted here. For those that fall into section 8 approval, this is literally probably the nicest location in Virginia Beach as far as the apartments themselves are concerned. The upper units have full carpeting and the insides have enough livable room. Also maintenance is actually a thing, not a 3 month waiting process. Another upside with a lot of people that fall into section 8 approval is the bus line is integrated into the entire city mere blocks, and if you enjoy the beach, well its not far from that either.Now the drastic downside to this neighborhood is yes the crime level is increased here more so there most other area by a lot. Within the last few years they have integrated private security and police presence is very much show. I will say that as years and years have gone by, the place has become more tame than it once was, in no small part due to law enforcement and management for the complex.+1 For Management+1 For location and accommodations+1 For Law Enforcement presence (that does minimize crime)-2 For Crime and Disturbances

I would give negative ZERO!!! I live in the apartments next door to this place and all you hear is ratchet people fighting outside , kids misbehaving, and lots and LOTS of gunshots !! I cant wait to get away from being near that ratchet complex next door!! Management, Yall should be ashamed and should be doing more background checks and even drug test if you have to because your community is an embarrassment!! Im sick of yalls ruckus!! KEEP IT CLASSY !!! Its not that hard.

This is one of the most drug infested areas in VIRGINIA BEACH. Their have been a lot of shootings here. Also there are a lot of low income people and lots of crime at ATLANTIS if you are thinking about moving here think again😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

The staffing administration cannot be trusted at all. The head maintenance is a female that has no clue on what she is doing and then expect the real men to take up her slack and they believe everything she say.
