Stellar medical service that actually cares about patients accurate diagnosis and provides an awesome bedside manner. Amanda the nurse who helped me really had the sweetest personality and really put me at ease even though I ended up needing more care than the urgent care could provide! These providers are rockstars and they know what theyre talking about!

I walked into Velocity clinic and I was turned away bcuz I didnt have an appointment. The website didnt say I needed an appointment to be seen. I can see if I walked in 5 minutes before closing. Not to mention there was only one person in lobby of clinic at the time. I will never come back to this clinic or any other Velocity clinic again and Id advise anyone to consider other clinics especially if you have an hectic work schedule like mine.

After getting tested for COVID, they said my results would take 20 minutes. I waited in my car for 45 minutes and then asked the receptionist if my results were ready. She didn’t bother to check the system and told me they weren’t ready yet. I waited another 45 minutes in the waiting room and had to ask the receptionist again to look again to see if my results were ready. It took an hour and a half to get my results when the doctors only said it should take 20 minutes.

On the first day on our vacation, my son did not feel well. We went to velocity and they were amazing! The staff was so nice! So nice that I drove back two days later when I didnt feel well. What a nice place to go when youre not feeling well on your vacation!

This urgent care is very dangerous …they are Criminals they are the most liar I’ve ever knew I cannot imagine why they did that to a poor person like me…maybe they thought they can fooled me because I’m not so fluent in English speaking..fabrication of documents is your 1st offense,alteration of documents,.fabrication of confirmation results…..Where in this world that the laboratory employee called you about your confirmation results and when you ask what is the adress of that LabCorp.Mam?and the lady paused for a minute and answered ….IM SORRY I HAVE NO ADRESS BECAUSE NO ONE WILL COME HERE..And hang up the phone.and the results are very very suspicious until now they didn’t give me the answers. First it’s not my penmanship,2nd my phone on that results is not my phone #.it’s other person phone #.3rd the adress of the company that applied is not the company’s adress,it is the adress the person who is the owner of the phone # that thats was put on my phone #..so suspicious I’m right.?are you all happy that you made it to a person that’s changes his life forever?and his family?..god is not blind you gonna pay of what you did ..KARMA IS REAL ,your just lucky I’m broke I can’t afford to hire a lawyer.

I had an excellent experience at Velocity today! Shashawnna was AMAZING! She was kind, courteous, respectful, and professional! The nurse who triaged me was also fantastic and compassionate, as well as the PA I saw, unfortunately I cannot recall their names but they were all efficient, professional and kind. Overall a great experience and I would use this service again! Thank you

If you’re trying to find a decent urgent care- it’s not this one. Don’t waste your time at this facility- you’re better off going to Patient Care. I’ve been to 2 different patient care offices and they were all well organized, from the front staff to the back. Velocity receptionist was kind, but the PA working that day seemed rushed and uninterested in my limited questions and told me to ask my primary instead. My medications weren’t sent to the pharmacy and so I called the office to resend. They couldn’t do anything for me but to leave a note to the PA to send when she had time. They couldn’t give me a time frame and my pharmacy was closing within an hour. I waited an entire hour at Walgreens for my prescription and velocity ended up sending it to the wrong location. They were also missing a second prescription, so I ended up not getting my prescription and wasting an hour for nothing. The lack of care and the disorganization within the facility is why I will not be returning. Stick with Patient First or another urgent care.

The staff is phenomenal. From check in to being taken to an exam room. Absolute professionals. The Dr made it a point to listen to the problems and made a clear cut diagnosis and prescribed proper medication. Thankful for the staff at this location. Will definitely recommend them and if needed go there in the future.

Thank goodness I don’t have a real emergency! No one sitting at the front desk when I arrived. Waited at least 5 minutes for someone to come out. There was no one else waiting and it still took twenty minutes to be seen.

Oh my gosh! What amazing customer service. I mistakenly registered for a COVID test when I wanted a sick appointment. They changed it at check in with no issue. My appointment was at 5:58 pm and I was done and in my car at 6pm! Just waiting to go pick up my prescriptions now.

This is my first overall experience with an urgent care center. I made my appointment online, which was very convenient. Once I checked in, the wait time for my appointment was 15-20 minutes. Masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizers were maintained in the lobby. The staff was very professional and efficient. Tests were performed and all of my needs were met very quickly during the actual encounter. However, the check in process could be fine-tuned. One suggestion is for better check in instructions at the front desk, especially since the online process confirmed that I had already checked in. The receptionist was not present when I arrived, but there were signs asking us to check in. I had to ask a another patient in the lobby. A simple sign requesting that we please complete this encounter form to check in and a receptionist will be with you shortly would be helpful. In addition, in the lobby, I was publicly asked why I was being seen, when I had provided all of the information online. All in all, I was pleased with my experience, and would use Velocity again.I highly recommend Velocity Urgent Care Little Neck to my patients for their urgent care needs. .

My experience here was perfect in every way. I especially appreciate the services of the Receptionist and the nurse (Helene?) who swabbed me for Covid. Their safety protocols were excellent. The speed of attending me was excellent. I have absolutely no criticisms to report. Highly recommended.

No long wait on Monday. Nurse listened to my complaint; Answered my questions. I didn’t have to wait long for the doctor. The doctor listened to my complaint. The doctor listened to my history of symptoms related to my complaint. The doctor responded knowledgeably. I was Prescribed with medication related to my complaint that was best for me. They Referred me to the proper practice that I needed to go. My Prescription was available very fast. I was out of this facility in no time really. Possibly being that I got there 1 hour before closing that my visit was so quick. The problem I was seen for is a common one. Worked out well.

I was able to book easily online. When I walked in no one was in the waiting area and the front desk associate was spraying down the lobby with disinfectant. The nurse and Dr. were so nice and made me feel so comfortable and appreciated. My results were ready for me in 20 min like they said. Big gold star for the customer service, cleanliness and efficiency!!!

I was in real pain amd unable to see clearly from my eye. The doctor was immediately able to diagnose and treat for the pain as an emergency physician might but with a much shorter wait. Places such as these are important because they free up the hospital ER for the ‘bigger’ things and can treat the minor emergencies. The staff is always courteous and professional. I live an active outdoor life snd am always grateful for their help.

Only velocity urgent care where the receptionist is nice and actually answers the phone.

This urgent care did not have an x-ray technician available when I needed a screening x-ray for my job. I called ahead to confirm that I could get an x-ray at this location, but when I showed up I was told to go to the ER because they didnt have an x-ray technician on site.

This was by far the friendliest and most efficient Velocity that I have been to. Family members of mine have visited 3 other sites and between the lack of communication, attention, and timeliness, Little Neck surpassed them all. From the time I walked in, I was greeted and assisted by the friendly personnel at the front desk and then the nurse that assisted me in the back was quick and efficient. I was in and out in under 1 hour compared to my family who waited anywhere from 2-3 hours.Would definitely recommend this location over all the others! To me, it was worth my drive!

Great location. Easy to understand check-in procedures. Super pleasant staff. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. Medical staff made sure I understood everything. Waiting room is socially distanced. Everybodys wearing masks. Plenty of hand sanitizer. I have confidence in this business. Obviously, would recommend.

Got my appointment and got the covid test quick. Tried to call, got sent to a call center, waited 20 min on hold, someone accidentally picked up the phone. All I could hear was coworkers chatting in the background but no one talking to me. Tried to get someone’s attention, nothing happened. You can not contact the office you visited. Complete buffoonery

When I arrived the front desk staff was on break. I had to wait over 15 minutes just to check in. Then an hour wait to see doctor. Doctor Espada was attentive and sympathetic. Unfortunately the medications he ordered were not successfully received by pharmacy. I have been on hold for literally 1 hour and 50 minutes now to try to ask them to order meds am too sick for this!

From the minute I came to the urgent care, I was greeted warmly by the lady at the front desk. She was efficient, knowledgeable and very polite! The phlebotomist called me back promptly at my scheduled time and was both kind and helpful I would recommend this urgent care. They do a great job helping patients in these trying times.

I have used this velocity at Little Neck since I moved to the side of Virginia Beach and they have been top notch very professional very friendly.Never had an issue with appointments and the doctors have always followed up to make sure we were on track

Went for antibody testing in a group of three with three different appointment times. There was about an hour gap between the earliest and latest appointments, we had to wait until the last appointment time to be taken in but all three of us were done at the same time.Phlebotomist was very good at finding veins and very nice. All the nurses were very friendly. Our blood was taken very fast and overall it was a very good experience.

I have been there a few times & the wait is longer than 15 minutes pat the appointment time, which is understandable. Whats frustrating is waiting to speak with someone on the phone, being on hold for 25 + minutes then following the instructions to leave a voicemail, only to find out the voicemail is full and get disconnected.PLEASE improve your customer service.

Don’t take your kids here. Wait for your pediatrician or go to a place who specializes in children.

They didn’t file my insurance 5 months ago, I just received a huge bill.I scheduled online in June 2020 for a drive thru Covid test. Pretty sure I had to put my insurance info in when registering. Arrived July 1 for 3:22 appt and saw no signs for a drive-thru. Because there wasn’t one. Had to go inside. Maskless receptionist did no formal check in. She was generally unpleasant—including a loud personal phone call because she had to stay late. Online ‘appointment time’ was a farce. I was finally seen near or after closing hours. It was a very long wait. Covid swab was quick, and friendly nurse asked if I’d like to see the doctor. After seeing the Dr and receiving prescriptions, I was sent down a hallway exit because the office lobby had closed. No paperwork, no copay. Figured I’d get a bill for the copay. Heard nothing from them and eventually forgot. Today, more than 5 months later, I received a huge bill for “medical services” that says “No insurance on file.” What a mess.

What a horrible experience. When I arrived I was asked for my reservation time which I wasn’t aware was necessary. I had gone last night and read the signs on the doors that they closed at 4 o’clock. But nothing about a reservation. Then I was asked to announce what I was there To be seen for. Then I was warned that because they closed in 25 minutes it probably wouldn’t except my check in. Which of course it wouldn’t because the receptionist obviously wanted to leave.

Went for a couple of minor issues. Made an appoint online the day before and was in to see the doctor within an hour of me arriving. Wish the wait time was more precise to the time I signed up for. However, I was provided great care and had all my questions answered. The receptionest was also friendly and kept me updated. Would go again if any medical issues arise.

I had the first appointment at 0834.  I received a text at 0824 telling me to go check in.  But the doors don’t open until 0830.  Check-in was very easy since I did everything on line.  I sat in the waiting area for fifteen minutes, even though I had the first appointment. But I think you made up time by taking my wife at the same time as me for the COVID swab test.  The woman doing the test was very professional and and efficient.  Disappointed to hear that it would take 7-10 days fo the results.  My son and his family were told 3-5 days at another Velocity facility.  They were also told about an app they could use to get results faster. So, experience was good, but I was not blown away.

Place is clean, friendly and the staff is professional. only problem I had was they did not ask where to send my prescription or did they tell me I was going to have one. I have been on hold for 40 mins and counting trying to have the prescription sent to a pharmacy near me and not one 40 mins away one way. the holding tone is super annoying as they have a robot lie telling you how your call is Very important every 10 seconds. which is funny cause if it was they wouldnt have left me on hold for over half an hour voice mail is full so I will sit suffering listening to the soul less your call is very important to us please wait for the next available agent or press zero to leave a message every 10 seconds. I actually managed to contact the wrong pharmacy faster than velocity and have them fix the issue. absurd call service will not return to this location. If any manager or owner reads this My review was originally just the first sentence but all the time on hold has let me edit my review. Shameful

Had to bring my family in for covid tests. Two senior citizens, myself, and my son with a compromised immune system. The front desk was professional and patient. Everyone had different insurance, one person is slow, one person is disabled, one person is a teenager...WE ARE A LOT.Everything went smooth. The nurse was even nice enough to come out to the waiting area to test my mom, who has trouble walking.I cannot say all Velocity locations are the same, but this particular one has always been top notch.

So, apparently there are 2 Velocity Urgent Care locations in Virginia Beach blvd. When I booked my appointment for the nearest one for a COVID-19 test. Using the website provided velocityuc.com, I only saw 1 local listed on the page I selected 2859 Virginia Beach Blvd, Suite 100 via the website & I requested an appt there. After filling out my info, I was efficiently given an appt for the next day (Fri 10/30) at 2:02pm. The next day, I figured to arrive about 15mins early, so I googled the Velocity Urgent Care VA Beach Blvd. I selected what Google showed me for my Waze app for directions. I haven’t lived in VA Beach long, so I’m not familiar with the area. So, I arrived with my friend, who was also testing for COVID to 4701 VA Beach Blvd, suite 210. Not knowing I wasn’t at the correct location, I waited outside (limit of 5 persons inside) for about 12mins & then inside for an additional 5. People in line were setting up appts — all declaring they saw online it read “walk-ins accepted”. I had read that, as well, but called the day prior & was planning on walking in; but, it took 18 phone calls (no exaggeration) & an hour before anyone answered. The phone rep formed me Velocity wasn’t accepting walk-ins, despite online saying they did. Anyways, after my nearly 20min wait in-line, finally I reach the counter. The receptionist had spoken very abruptly & rude to all the other guests before me. In fact, at one point, a couple opened the doors (while I was in-line inside) & the man said “we are here for coronavirus testing &...” & she cut them off & was yelling “YOU HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE!” He said “ooo I only saw 4 people”... she then still looking at the computer replies rather rude-like, “she’s sitting” & points to the corner of the room to a woman in a chair (I also, too, at first hadn’t seen her when I first tried to enter & was chased out & one or two others waiting outside also missed her. Neither he or I was actually even inside the building yet, when we finally noticed her. Easy mistake. No need to speak cruelly to people. So, back to when I got to the counter. I told her my name & I was there for covid testing. She said my name was not in the system. I gave her my reference # & she said “Again, you’re Nottt in our system”. I said, “I scheduled an appt, I don’t understand.” She said, “what do you Nottttt understand? You aint in the system. So ya don’t have an appointment!” I was so confused. She then asked me “what location?” I replied, “here, the VA Beach Blvd location. She said “okay, which location?” I answered again, “this location — VA Beach Blvd.” She raises her voice & says, “Which ONE?!” I was already scrolling in my phone to find the email from velocity with my confirmation info & shocked by her attitude, I say, “I’m looking now... but my appt was for 2:02 & it’s 2:00 now; what do I do?” She rudely asked my friend behind me if he knew where & he was able to pull up the email before me. She didn’t even look at his phone, she then decides to tell us that there are 2 VA Beach Blvd locations & I’m clearly at the wrong one. And then looks past us & basically says “next”. Like, wow! How disgusting, disappointing & disrespectful customer service. I have been a hostess, waitress, bartender for 17years & a clearance security team personnel/front office receptionist at a large DoD contractor in Tyson’s Corner. I would be easily fired for speaking to customers that way. She obviously was aware from the beginning I possibly was at the wrong location & instead of patiently informing me, “ma’am ya may be at the wrong location...” she berated me, was hostile, not concerned, careless, rude, & impatient. Most importantly, she was demeaning & kind of embarrassing me. She kept interrupting me & talking over me (& others). Thankfully, the other location still accepted me despite being late. They were KIND! I realize it was my fault — my oversight, but she was rude, nonetheless. I couldn’t believe it! The ladies at the next location were AWESOME! Kind, caring, professional, & delightful! I adored them!! And want to thank them!

This place has taken great care of me on multiple occasions. They have a great waiting system notification where you can check in and go home or elsewhere to wait and they will message you when it’s time to come back. This was super helpful for me because I was staying around the corner one time and I just went back there and laid on the couch and then came back. They have always gotten me in and out as quick as possible as well. When you need to find out if you have flu or strep quickly this is a great place to go, especially on the weekends.

The wait to get to the room was longer than expected, maybe twenty minutes, because I booked ahead online. It was still better than an hour, though, so Ill take that. The doctor was very thorough for what I had considered fairly routine, but that is probably for the better. I did not appreciate that they needed to hold a dollar on my card for any charges that may remain after insurance because I didnt have it. I paid my co-pay in cash. I was still permitted to be seen despite not having it, but it could present an issue in the future. All in all, it was a great visit. All the employees I encountered were pleasant and thorough. Ill be back.

This has to be THE worst place my Stepson has ever been. We set an appointment for a physical at 10:30am and by 12:30pm we STILL had not been seen. The receptionist is a snot and very rude. They are about as professional as a teenage McDonalds crew. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Go anywhere else but here.

This was our first visit to Velocity urgent care. I’m very impressed how quick we were in and out of there. I’m even more impressed with how well they took care of my daughter and her situation. Very quick and good service. Online scheduling of appointment was very easy and mobile friendly. I thought things might have changed after the name change to Velocity, but I received the same great service that I remember from Sentara.

Patients need to be aware that unless they present a credit card they will not be seen. This information should be available on the web sites that Velocity uses. The policy is very foreign to me and I was told if I did not give my credit card, I would not be seen. While I do have a card, I do not use it often or with companies I have not history with. Just FYI

Every time Ive used this location for urgent care, the staff have been great. They are friendly, helpful, and respectful. There seems to be genuine concern for the patients. Ive watched the reception staff help elderly patients with the technology of checking in, the coffee pot, and insuring that they safely move from the waiting area to the exam rooms. Its very heartwarming. On top of that, I have felt cared for and respected as the doctor listened to my concerns and made recommendations for best outcomes.

I didn’t have too long of a wait time for being a walk-in with no appointment. The nurses were friendly and the provider was super nice with a great big smile! She quickly solved my issues and sent me home with the necessary tools to help myself in the future! Thank you for helping me today and relieving my pain and discomfort! You guys were awesome!

Went tonight (VB BLVD Virginia) for chest pain due to asthma. Simply needed steroids and treatment. Was turned away for a bill from 2 years ago. I was told it was an insurance inside that I wasn’t covered which I was. I’m disappointed that with chest pain I was sent away. Thank God I made it to the hospital and didn’t die in route.I called my insurance and asked them about the bill to find out it was an error. They were asked to resubmit the claim for payment. I was denied service for an error. Unfortunate. It’s should be illegal to turn a patient away with breathing difficulties. My family would’ve been rich if I didn’t make it to the ER.

Staff is amazing, friendly, funny, caring, personable and professional. They made me feel instantly calm and safe before getting stiches which is hard to do for most people!

Cannot express how nice it was to go to an urgent care where a doctor isnt rushing me out as soon as possible. I made my appt online for 12:30pm, arrived at 12:15pm with time to fill out new patient forms and was seen around 12:35pm. Timothy Reiss, PA, was extremely thorough with me, explaining my diagnosis and tests/exams that he could provide at urgent care as well as tests that I may need to take with another doctor because they do not have all equipment at an urgent care. I cant stress enough how I did not feel rushed at all at this urgent care. I have been to several and always had the opposite experience. Thank you for taking the time to make sure my diagnosis was correct and taking care of me (especially because Im not from the area!).

I was seen today for a very painful gout flare. This is the second time I have been seen there and each time everything went quickly an efficiently. The staff is very pleasant from reception to the Nurse to the Dr/P.A. Thanks to all for helping me out today.

I made an online appointment for a certain time and was unable to make it. I called and they were kind enough to change my appointment so we could still come that day. My son went in by himself for a school physical and he said the nurses and Physicians Assistant were nice and he rated them a 9 out of 10.

Beginning to end was flawless—& this on a Sunday w/ several emergency procedures ahead of me (which I was told as soon as I checked in)!! Made online appt, was emailed a reminder....front desk super friendly & courteous; fabulous, kind nurse; phenomenal, warm, thorough NP!! Haven’t been there since it became Velocity, but was very impressed & would go again if need be!!

Went in for myself and the provider I saw recognized me from a previous visit weeks before for my daughter. I was amazed how a provider seeing so many could remember us like that! Made a very personable experience. Service was good from everyone there, but that just topped it off

I had a great experience here. I scheduled a time online and received a text shortly before the appointment. The process in the office was extremely quick and everyone I came in contact with was kind and professional. Id recommend trying it out. I was impressed.

Cut the bottom of my foot stepping on a rock in the ocean at Fort Story beach. Got refereed from my insurance to come here since we are up here on vacation. Filled out the paperwork and got seen right away. They cleaned out my wound and when the pain got too bad to bear, numbed up the area which initially was very painful and then did an awesome job giving me 14 stitches on my foot. They talked to me and made me feel like a valued human being and took very good care as they worked on my foot. Its been 2 days and so far no issues. The entire staff from the ladies at the front desk to those that came back and cleaned my foot and stiched it up were great. The only minor issue was they initially had issues finding some of the supplies they needed but quickly resolved that problem and were able to take care of me with great care. Thank you Velocity for your help and care. Its greatly appreciated.

This place is awful. Town center location is the best. The staff are rude and the nurse was awful. Definitely not for kids. The doctor was nice but other than that, all around the worst location.

10. The girl at the desk was wonderful and very helpful. The nurse that took vitals had a great sense of humor. (Not to ever be underestimated) and the PA was very knowledgeable and through. I felt very well care for.

They need to hire more staff, a few gentlemen and myself had to wait more than two hours just to be seen for a covid test

Incompetent staff. Went to Velocity Urgent Care 2859 VB Blvd recently for simple urine drug screen for work injury that ended up taking HOURS. Ive been a mechanic for 20+ years and had plenty of injuries before and know the drill. Had my papers and usually go to another place but work sent me here. Lady did not know what she was doing at all and not friendly. She called a bunch of people for instructions for some reason. Best part is she said she was the place’s PRACTICE MANAGER haha! This place is unorganized. I usually dont write reviews but this was a waste of time. I would give no stars if I could.

Today I went for upper respiratory symptoms and fever. My doctor, (not sure of spelling) her name was Alyshia, and she was fantastic. The exact type of dr. that’s perfect for me. She listened and responded to my every concern. I so appreciated this appointment. Thank you!!

Easy to sign in online and skip the wait. Staff is personable, friendly, and professional. You will receive better service here than other urgent care facilities!

My visit was very quick and informative. I saved a spot online. Was texted when it was time to arrive. I checked in and 10 minutes later was in the back room. 10 minutes later or less the doctor was in the room. My script was sent to my pharmacy. Got to the pharmacy and it was ready. Overall outstanding!!

Made appointment online. Waiting room was empty but still waiting 20 minutes AFTER my appointment time. They demanded my credit card even though I have insurance. They stated it has been their policy since August. My daughter was here last week and they didnt ask for one with her and its the same insurance.Finally got to the back about 30 minutes later. No patients but nurses were sitting on their phones as. Dr came in quickly and listened to my symptoms. He came up with a treatment plan. He and Jessica were great!

I was hurt while in NC, but won’t go anywhere but this Velocity location for urgent care! I love that I can schedule an appt. I arrived about 15 min early and was in the exam room 5 min BEFORE my scheduled appt time! In and out in record time. The staff here is always so nice! Love this place. Wish I could use for PCP! 😆

It is so nice to be able to make my appointment ahead of time and on a Sunday! I was in and out within an hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend Dr. Espada and entire staff for their 1st class patient care! They are very professional, caring and personable. Dr. Espada clearly discussed diagnosis and treatment plan. Office is clean, well managed. Wait time is shorter with making an online appointment. Walk in is also an option.

Dr. Ibanez and the whole team here are AMAZING!! I was the last patient to be seen and it was already past 8pm. Dr. Ibanez took the steps to ensure I didn’t have walking pneumonia (which I was slightly concerned about). She ordered a breathing exercise be done which helped so much! The level of care just made me so grateful. From the nurse at the front desk to each who helped, and Dr. Ibanez, thank you so much for the superior care tonight!

Ive never had a bad experience until yesterday. The woman at the front desk who helped me was wonderful. The doctor who came in diagnosed me with an upper respitory infection and the doctor didnt bother to give any antibiotics instead just told me to go buy over the counter allergy medication and gave me 3 prescriptions for nasal spray, an inhaler, and cough syrup.

I had not chosen this Urgent Care because it was so slow. But the last 2 times were much better! Waited about 15 min & ER doc was pretty thorough. Did need to come back for follow up but used the Appt. Que to confirm the time I preferred. So..... Im changing my mind!

This location is not an urgent location. Urgent providers are supposed to take any one for medical issues. If you have an urgent medical concern DO NOT COME HERE. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. Been coming to this location since I was super little. They have definitely changed for the worse. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE ANY MORE. NO STARS ARE DESERVED but cant post anything with out atleast one star.

Edit: Had something new come up so i figured id try them out again. Still not a fan of having to pay right away when im self pay. Id like the ability to be billed. But everyone was nice and they helped me out. And were very transparent about pricing so thats nice

The service and friendliness of the staff was fabulous! I didn’t want to leave. I felt like family!
