Vacationing here at Virginia Beach and my daughter became very sick with a high fever. As a nurse I had my own objectives in my head as far as treatment with little expectations from an urgent care facility. Well I was truly humbled by the care and treatment that my daughter received. They far exceeded my expectations. Nobody wants to visit a dr. while on vacation but I will not think twice about visiting here again if we should need too. A sincere thank you to the dr and nurse that cared for my daughter today!

Saw dr Werwath today… he was more thorough than any dr I’ve seen recently.. ordered some much needed tests.. will definitely make him our pcp…

We are visiting area from NY as my son has basketball tournaments this weekend. He was helping sister open beach toys and knife slipped and went into his hand. I called and asked if someone was there that could possibly do some stiches in his hand. From moment I called before going into office to the time we walked out everyone was WONDERFUL. Being a nurse myself I always takes note on medical environments. The doctor was FABULOUS! Was extremely nice and overall a WONDERFUL experience. Office was clean and everyone was professional and nice. So glad we had this place close and quick. Thank you to all the staff there for being awesome!!! 😍

I came here after a car accident on vacation. Everyone was very nice but I feel like the dr did not do the right thing and he drained a burn blister and without gloves on! I was too exhausted and upset from the day that I didn’t bother to say anything but that is extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. Also now it is not healing well.

Dr. W is an class A doc. He knows his stuff and is teaching the future minds of medicine. Good thing! His bed side manner alone is enough to get ya in there, but the talent is where you truly benefit.

The visit itself was okay, except for the fact Dr.Werwath and his assistant left the room for a bit to google treatment. My issue is that the way their office coded it to my insurance is wrong and they refuse to revise it. They claim I’ve got “additional services” from them, which is NOT TRUE and now this has been going on for over three month and the stuff stopped returning my calls. Don’t go here if you don’t want to end up dealing with this head ache forever.

Dr. Werwath is awesome, very sharp and knowledgeable. However, I can’t say the same for his front office staff. Very unprofessional and careless !!!! After many years as a patient, I am moving on to another GP.

Everyone at this office including the doctor made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I dont like to be in crowds of people. I get very anxious when around new people and when there are alot of them. 🙄I know that may sound weird but that is how I get sometimes. Not here. Everyone made me feel very comfortable. I am going to stay with doctor. Dr. Werwath was very understanding and easy to speak with. I highly recommend this office.

I did my NP clinical rotation here and got to know Dr. Werwath, the NP, and the staff very well. They truly care about each and every patient, and you will get one of a kind care here all around! Dr. Werwath has so much experience and knowledge, he is someone I can trust with my child’s life. They are thorough, but very quick and can get you in and out! 100% recommended.

Dr. Werwath and staff are fantastic! I could say many great things about them but Im going to just say that I trust them and they care about their patients. I always feel like Dr. Werwath offers intelligent diagnosis and effective solutions.

I have been to a lot of doctors offices over the years but I have never had a doctor go the extra mile to make sure that I get the best care like Dr. Werwath. He and his staff are AWESOME!

I loved it. Fantastic place and they get it right. Its a mix where half they day its only walk inside, the other half is appointments. Very experienced and super friendly staff, and They always have a few staff for residency/training which ensures exposure new new ideas and procedures, plus a very nice mix of ages and experience. Absolutely wonderful.And the care and service is wonderful. If inly all practices were like this. Too notch, very highly recommended.

I thought I had finally found a doctor that listened. I asked for a copy of my medical records to submit to a company and found 7 other patients records intermingled in mine.My name, address, DOB but in the body of everything was other people’s names, addresses and incredibly private health info.When I called to see what they would do about it they wouldn’t tell me they would let the patients know which is what they should do. They just edged &said they will do what’s right.I spoke with the HIPAA rep at Sentara for advice and she told me it was shady their response and to report the office.I did and Office of Civil Rights decided to do nothing and gave me no directions on what to do with these records.Then I called to make a payment on my acct with the office, I was put on hold and Dr Werwath aggressively questioned me if I was the one to report him. Hello. It’s confidential so patients aren’t afraid of retaliation.He let me know I wasn’t welcomed back with thinly veiled threats.I immediately let the OCR know. He lacks all professionalism.And the kicker? He had ALL my medical notes wrong. Like someone half listening.Wasted a year of my life.

Dr. Werwath is amazing. I was seen for shoulder pain that has been bothering for awhile. He was super attentive and funny. He is my new pcp now and my brother is going to start going here as well. I also wanted to add I came here for urgent care but you can make appointments as well.

Been seeing Dr Werwath for years and just recently referred my adult daughter and she absolutely loves him . Your not a number, but a patient Dr Werwath will do all that he is medically able to do and more...and the staff is excellent and professional hands down. Cant wait for my new insurance since Optima doesnt have the best interest of the patients 😕, but do continue to pay out of pocket for quality care

I really needed urgent help the other day when I had an insect bite on my leg that suddenly swelled up very badly and turned bright red. Luckily this place got me in right away and figured out what it was. The whole staff, including Dr. Werwath, is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Thanks to them, the problem was promptly treated and its nearly gone now. Great job!
