I just want to say Dr. Anyiwo is an outstanding physician. He is caring and takes time with his patients. He listens to your concerns and goes out his way to make sure you are heard and your problems are treated with the appropriate measures. I would recommend him to all my friends. PAMA is a wonderful doctors office to be seen at........

Terrble place. Front office loses referals and places you on ridiculous waits. Doctors are apathetic, and lack intuition, empathy or medical pedigree. Dr. Mcgheehan (do not know how to spell last name) told me that genetic tests would not matter, although obviously out of her perview. Waiting time, within drs office (not waiting room), is about 45 mins on average. Last gp that worked here left because of mismanagment and unprofessionalism. Avoid bayview and their disgusting doctors.

Please make sure to do your own research on any medication Dr. Karen Mcgeehan prescribes you. She prescribed me a medication but didn’t tell me how crucial it is to not get pregnant while on it. She even recommended that I get off of birth control while on it and not to mention I didn’t receive the results of my blood work until two weeks later when she told me they come in within a day.

Felt like the MA rushed everything, like there was more important things to do than to take care of me, the patient. Either make fewer appointments or hire more qualified people. I want to feel like I matter and am not just another source of revenue for the company.

Don’t let the out of state reviews of Dr. Mcgeehan’s fool you ! Majority of staff is lazy and Dr. Mcgeehan is terrible. She doesn’t read charts prior to you coming and never remembers why you are doing a follow-up appt even though she wanted you to! Numerous times i have had to call front desk to ask about lab results and / or refill medications . Some staff will say they will relay the message and come to find out they never did. I even caught a staff member enter my weight in wrong and when i questioned it to Dr. Mcgeehan; she had me go back on the scale and sure enough her MA entered a incorrect weight . All Dr. McGeehan did was question her MA and they never apologised or anything . Not to mention , also Dr. McGeehan is always running late with appointments ! Staff and Dr. Mcgeehan seem like they are just there for the $$$ and not for the actual care for patients . I have gladly switched my PCP now.

I recently had an awful interaction w/the covering on call physician Dr Liu. As a hospice RN I called 1/30/2021 for my father who was actively dying. I needed an order for hospice to start ASAP (hospital bed, supplies, nursing care, HHA, comfort pack meds etc) instead what I got was nervous, unreassuring rushed “advice”Was told “no can do that, it takes many days to get that started, call 911 & go emergency room!” I informed Dr.Liu that was incorrect I had the info necessary to get things started if he would just call the company or send them a fax. The following was the remainder of the phone conversation that took place....Dr Liu’ s response: “I have no fax, you take him to emergency room!”Me: “ He’s dying, he needs a hospital bed & meds, such as MSO4, lorazepam to keep him comfortable”Dr Liu: “ No, no, no, you not going to sue me!! He go to emergency room & get hospital bed”Me: “ During covid? You want to overburden the ER with a dying man, my Dad, when he has an Advanced Directive & DNR? That’s an inappropriate use of the ER!!!”Dr Liu again insisted my dying Dad should be transported to ER.Covid-19 is in full swing here, the ER’s & hospitals are overwhelmed. If I had done as Dr. Liu requested my Dad would’ve been in the ER, on a stretcher( may or may not have had access to a room) & die alone. The following day Sunday, no f/u call re: his status or my concernsMonday morning @0916 I able to get in touch w/Dr Austin (💜) who had been told that my Dad had gone to the hospital!!! Wth 🤦🏾‍♀️?!I informed him briefly of my interaction w/his colleague. Genuine apologies given, & told me all would be taken care of immediately, as he would dispatch the order as URGENT. He was audibly upset as he’s been my Dad’s, my deceased Mom, my disabled brother & my husband’s doctor for YEARS. I also see his colleague Dr Moseley & NEVER had anything but, kindness, professionalism, compassion & appropriate care. That afternoon, Comfort Care Hospice had all equipment necessary delivered, a nurse, Chaplain & appropriate comfort pack medication ordered/picked up.My Dad was reunited peacefully w/my Mom on Tuesday night. No thanks to Dr. Liu😪If I could give a minus rating for Dr.Liu I would. If I ever have to call after hours or the weekend & find out that he is the On call I’ll hang up & go to a Doc in the Box. He was rude, insensitive, inept & was more than ready to inappropriately utilize services(ER) d/t to his own inability to triage, or handle End of Life issues. IMO he should not be interacting with people, perhaps R&D, forensics or pathology may be more his forte’All I can think of is that if a lay person had this occur, their final memory would’ve been watching their loved one go through the ER doors alone & wait for the call telling them that they had died.Thank you Dr Austin, Leticia, the 2 caring answering service staff I dealt with on Saturday night & Monday morning. Your compassion & professionalism enabled my family & I to say goodbye to my Dad as he wished, at home.If an End of Life inservice is needed to educate/enlighten the needs of a family I know that Comfort Care Hospice is willing.

Had a virtual appt with Dr McGeeHan whom called me almost 30 minutes late & was supposed to send information over for testing and she never did. That resulted in me waiting from 1:35 until now 4pm at nowcare and they just told me they never received anything from her, after I got out of my car & flagged a nurse down. They are just now starting the testing process. Had she sent the information over, I would have been had my results. I watched various cars who got here after me get tested before me and leave with results. They are supposed to be helping Nowcare but obviously not. I will edit with the time I actually finish. Smh.

I have been a patient of Princess Anne Medical Associates for several years, the front desk is very patient centered and friendly in their check-in and check-out processes. The clinic is clean and bright, which makes going to the doctors office a little easier to do. The nurses are all knowledgeable and always available to answer my questions.

I referred by mother-in-law to Princess Anne Medical after she stated how hard it was to find a doctor to take her insurance and after her visit she stated how wonderful the staff was and the doctor was such a joy to see. She really had a great experience!

I have been going to this practice for a little over 1 year. I see Elizabeth McCabe one of the PAs. She listens to everything that I have to say. Has always been prompt on refills. The office staff is nice whenever I call. Would recommend her to anyone who needs a PCP.

Not everyone, but most of the people that work here are either ignorant, or just don’t care about their job……My first appointment went wonderfully, as most first appointments go. During this appointment I was asked to do some labs, bloodwork, etc. They said that I could come back on Friday, when it was convenient. Well I came back on Friday, checked-in where the sign said “Dr. (name omitted) check-in here, as opposed to the other stations, that were for other doctors. I checked in, the lady with the giant hair, said ok thank you. That was it. I was waiting for my name to be called. Waiting, and waiting, and WAITING, and finally heard a different employee tell another patient that she just needed to go through the door, and put her chart in a box, then the lab nurse would call her. I walked over to that employee and asked if I should be doing the same, as I have been waiting FORTY-FIVE minutes. She said yes, and I responded by saying, well that would’ve been great to know. Her response………yeah that happens all the time with the girl (with the big hair). So they KNOW that this employee doesn’t tell people what to do, where to go, etc. and rather lets them sit there and waste their time. Then I went to get a mole removed, and they allowed a student to do it, when I went back to have the stitches removed, the nurse asked who did the stitches, as they literally buried the knot to tie it off, IN MY BACK. This meant that the nurse had to DIG IT OUT OF MY BACK FOR 20 minutes!!!!! She kept apologizing. (but they still want me to pay for the procedure, which I am refusing to do!!)Then at my, probably 4thd appointment, a few months later: I was schedule for an appointment at 3:00pm. I arrived at 2:45, as usual. I check in and at 3:45 I went to the counter, and asked how much longer, as my appointment was for 45 minutes ago, and I have been checked in for an hour. The admin went to the back, and returned with a weird, confused face, she said, “has no one told you that she was running about 30-45 late right now?” I said no, and that I can wait the few more moments, but did have another appointment at 4:30, about 10 minutes away. She said, oh, no, I mean she will be another 30-45 minutes from now……. I was angry and explained that this meant the doctor was running over an hour and half late…..they close at 5:00, would she even be able to see me. The employee recommended that I re-schedule the appointment….so I didThe next appointment, again I am waiting 45 minutes. They remind me again that I owe the money for the procedure, and I explained that ONE they billed it wrong with my insurance, as I have explained 5 times now, and that they need to re-bill the insurance; and TWO- even my insurance shouldn’t pay for the crappy job that caused scars from the removal!!!!Now, I call to get my rx refilled and am told the doctor isn’t in until Monday and that more-than-likely no other doctors will refill the meds bc they DON’T PREFER TO FILL THIS MEDICATION…they don’t PREFER………………I REALLY need a new doctor, and suggest that you stay FAR away from this place!!
