Great experience! I feel like my whole life I have had issues with dentists in the past. But, from recent experiences, it has been amazing with their great service, people, and their amazing care for what they’re doing. Highly recommended!

Really pleasant experience. I always dread having to find a new dentist due to frequent moves and I am so glad I chose Good Neighbor Dental. My hygienist Meghan was wonderful and provided a thorough cleaning all while keeping me comfortable. Also worth noting were the COVID-19 precautions taken, I felt safe to this regard. Highly recommend.

I am from a small town and have been searching for a dental practice that has a personal, small town feel.After my latest visit to Paula and Dr Bittner, I feel like I have found that place. I love Paulas personality...we get along so well! Dr. Bittner is very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and skilled.

Ive been coming here for about 3 years now. Theyre always willing to accommodate any schedule changes I need to make or questions I have. My daughters, five and seven years old, are also seen here. My five year old has developmental delays and wasnt able to handle someone poking around in her mouth for the first two years here. They did what they called happy visits, which means they werent able to perform an actual exam, she screamed the whole time and they didnt charge the insurance. Which is fantastic. When she was able to stand having someone look into her mouth, they made sure to do her exam very quickly and did the fluoride quickly as well. Theyve kept track of my dental health journey and continually offer samples of new products as well as using positive reinforcement to ensure I keep up the good work. I cant recommend this place enough. The fact that they accept the militarys dental health insurance is just another added bonus.

I will not be returning to use their services. After several years of putting up with rotating dentists and closing of offices, the final straw was refusing to complete the service for which I had the appointment by holding that service hostage unless I bought the upsell services. Which by the way , I had agreed to for the NEXT visit once I could be advised of what my insurance would pay and what my out of pocket expense would be. Ive been going to a dentist for over 60 years and have never encountered such behavior from a dental office before.I find it hard pressed to give even a 1 star after such disappointing behavior from the entire staff.

The front staff, hygienist, and the Dentist are all so incredibly nice. They make me comfortable while talking me through the procedure and all my options. No guilt or pressure like I’ve seen other places. Definitely recommend!

I am a patient of Randall Bittner since 2012. My child for 6 years. Regardless of the locating they operate in the service is always great. Very knowledgeable, personable and safe. I feel Im getting proper care at all my check ups and cleaning!

I have been to many dentists through out my life, Good Neighbor Dental is by far one of the best. I always feel welcome. Everyone is very friendly and easy to talk to. The staff is so kind and polite. So glad I found this office!

In the past, I have had terrible experiences with dentists, even having one recommend unnecessary procedures. Dr. Bittner is amazing and honest. Everyone in the office is friendly and Im not scared of going to the dentist anymore. I have told all my friends and family about Good Neighbor Dental. I will never go anywhere else.

The best dentist I’ve every visited, truly!! All the ladies at the front desk were SO kind, even congratulated me on the new job I got earlier the day after I came in! They were so helpful for all the questions I had about paying! And the woman who worked on my teeth was so intelligent and patient with me! It had been about 6-7 years since I had been to a dentist last and she made all my nerves go away! She was fantastic! Highly recommend, excellent service and knowledgeable, kind staff all around!!

Wonderful Dental visit. Megan, my hygienist was caring and seemed committed to ensuring that my teeth were truly clean and took the time to enhance my understanding of flossing and general dental health. Dr. Glass saw me for my exam and provided a thorough explanation of where I stand and options available moving forward. All in all a thorough, professional office and I look forward to coming back soon.6/17/2020: update...been there three times now and really appreciated it!!! They are always great, positive and happy. Had a small emergency that required a quick dental exam and they took care of me the SAME DAY!!! So awesome!!! Love these guys!!!

I hadnt been to the dentist in 2 yrs. I certainly had never had my temperature taken at a dental office but i didnt mind them taking the extra precaution. Annie did a wonderful job.

They are a kind and professional group of people in this office. Meghan is the hygienist who does the most thorough cleanings I have ever had. Dr. Johnson is very up on the latest materials and techniques, also very gentle. Bronwin at the front desk couldnt be more helpful or fun to deal with.This is a progressive, excellent dentists office which I highly recommend.

I love this dentist!!! Everyone hates going to the dentist to have their teeth picked at, and poked, and flossed, but they really make your experience as enjoyable as they can. Meghan is the dental hygienists I always get and she is amazing! Gentle and kind and even understanding with my complicated orthodontic work during flossing time. Bronwyn is the secretary who really makes you feel welcome and really ensures your appointment fits your schedule! And Dr. Johnston is an amazing dentist! He is funny and makes the “I hate going to the dentist” more bearable! So happy I chose Good Neighbor Dentist!!! :)

I had my first appointment today and it went great! His staff is excellent!

I was referred by my son who has been living here for 4 years) as I have recently moved from another state. The staff is AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY! I got lost finding it and was so upset that I was going to be late for my first appointment, however a call and response from Megan put me at complete ease. As luck would have it, the appt after mine had canceled so no worries!. I was then greeted by the most lovable Maryann (sp?). She reviewd my paperwork with me and listened to my concerns with prior dentistry experiences had the utmost patience and genuine concern. After a complete exam and a full series of xrays (not my favorite thing to have done) she explained in great detail her findings. I was then introduced to the super personable and friendly Dr. Bittner! He had overheard and listened, again very patiently, to my reiteration of negative experiences Id had on the past. I was referred (unfortunately) to a specialist for further treatment that was out of their realm, however I left feeling like I was expertly taken care of and hope to see them again! Thank you to all! I love Virginia Beach and this was another positive experience to add to my list since moving here!

I had a great experience today with Good Neighbor Dental at Great Neck!They informed me of their COVID-19 policies when confirming my appointment so I was aware of what to expect. I called from my vehicle to let them know I had arrrived, then waited to be ushered in by a staff member. Patients MUST wear a mask to enter. My temperature was taken in the lobby and, once verified, I was asked to use hand sanitizer and fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire. Every employee was wearing an N95 mask with a disposable sanitary mask on top, and the hygienist wore an additional face shield while performing the cleaning. Their office and rooms were spotless and I watched as everything was sanitized before and after.In summary, I’m super impressed with this dental office. I used to visit their Red Mill office before they consolidated locations, so this was my first time at Great Neck. If you’re a current patient waiting to return due to COVID-19 concerns or if you’re just looking for a new dentist, definitely give this place a call.

Let me start out by talking about the staff. AMAZING with me as well as my kids. So friendly, gentle, quick and knowledgeable. Dentist is amazing as well. Super knowledgeable, quick, does everything in house (had a root canal done). The staff doesnt talk down to you, always positive . Very flexible scheduling too.Highly highly recommend for any military looking for a dentist!!!

Bronwyn was so inviting I immediately was at ease.Every time I walk into the office I’m greeted with a smile!The dental technicians are always gentle and really great to talk to!The dentist (my mommy brain can’t remember his name, nothing against him though!!) has got a great personality and really tries to do what’s best for his patients!Highly recommend!!

I had bad experience with dentist before and Good Neighbor Dental made my fear go away. My first visit was great and the Homey feeling is the best part. They dont treat you because youre just a customer/patient that bring business but they treated you like a family. They made my visit comfortable as possible. Dr. Glass is awesome. I called the Lynnhaven Drive location for a free second opinion. I was able to get an appointment the for the very next day. The entire staff was excellent and exceeded my expectations. They explained the recommended treatment plan and gave me a copy of the written estimate including timeline and all costs.

I needed a root canal and they immediately took care of me and did all of the various insurance filings. I felt like the dentist was very skilled as it went smooth.

My experience at this location was as great as it could be within a dental facility. Im deadly terrified of dentists, however the technicians did everything in their power to decrease any discomfort. The receptionist made me feel very welcomed with a motherly nature. Im not excited to go back, but I will return. This is a major statement for a person who avoids the dentist at all cost. I would highly recommend this office and have to my mother and daughter. Both have had great experiences.On yesterday, I actually came out dancing! I love these people! They are so awesome. The best people ever!

Dr Bittner is extremely knowledgeable, and explains details in clear language. On top of that, hes a nice guy. I would reccomend Dr Bittner to do anyones dental work.

I normally dread going to the dentist, but since I have been going to Good Neighbor Dental, I have had nothing but very good experiences. Dr. Tina Lefta and her staff are very kind, understanding, patient, and take great care to make sure you are as comfortable as possible while in their care. I recently had to have an old filling replaced, and they did such a good job that you can barely even tell that its a filling now. I would very highly recommend them.

The staff at Good Neighbor Great Neck have gone above and beyond to provide dental care for my dad who has dementia; and they do so with such kindness and compassion. Whenever I call, or am there with my dad for appointments, we are treated like family. I wish I could give you all 6 stars.
