I am new to Visionworks and was so pleased by the friendly and caring staff! They were all so nice and helpful, just what I needed going into a new place. My glasses came in a week early and they then helped me pick out sun glasses, as I decided to do that on the spot....wonderful experience.

Iris was absolutely amazing. Not only did she help me pick out a pair of glasses she helped me find the best deal that fit my price range. I would recommend this place to anyone because of her. She is more than a 5 star, she is a 10. Go check them out!

Today was my first visit to Visionworks , but will not be my last. Iris Williams was most professional and courteous attendant in optical sales that I had ever experienced. She carefully walked and talked me through the process of picking through the numerous choices of glasses that were available. Her comments as, those dont look good on you to , now that pair , in my opinion , are right for you, were honest and appreciated. Iris, thanks you for your all your help. We are Visionworks customers from. Florida, visiting our daughter. My husband broke his glasses and I needed a pair of contacts. The employees were the most professional, courteous and knowledgeable people we have met at any Visionworks! Devon repaired my husbands glasses perfectly! The young lady behind the counter went over and above to help me get my contact prescription!!! Just the best group of folks ever! Many, many thanks!!!!

I came across Vision Works after not being able to get an appointment with my current provider until December! The reviews I read were good and decided to give them a try!I was pleased with my experience. Dr. Dara was nice and thorough with her eye exam! The ladies at Vision Works were nice and helpful! They were pleasant and enthusiastic in helping me pick out frames!! They had a large selection to choose from!I paid for my glasses. The next day I realized I could have used my HSA. Heather was very accommodating and let me make the change with ease!

While the staff at the store were excellent in how they took care of us, the fact that it is now going on the 4th week without my glasses is unsatisfactory. I keep getting told they are in final processingI understand the whole covid-19, but this is ridiculous. I think next year when I get glasses I will go someplace else cuz it doesnt seem to Visionworks can deliver in the two weeks that they said they would.

I have been here multiple times now and Devon has been the one who assisted me on all of those occasions. He goes above and beyond and cares for all customers.Rooting for him to get a raise or something!Go Devon!

Came this weekend and it seemed like everyone was too busy to help.

First time I went there to get safety glasses tell me it would take 15 days got them in a week will go back to get regular glasses outstanding service

The staff was very friendly in offering their suggestions for helping choose a frame as well as various options to enhance and protect my glasses. They were also able to help figure out my savings with the insurance that I have. They are currently following covid-19 lines to help protect its customers. Recommended.

I purchased my glasses here last year and the process was good. I am irritated because I got an email saying walk ins are always welcome, but they would not help me. They told me to make an appointment. It really rubbed me the wrong way for the company policy (even at this time) to be walk ins are welcome, but they do not allow walk ins.

Not happy with this place at all. My son had his eye examation on on Oct 20. My husband and I sat in the waiting area while the doctor examined his eyes. The entire time the receptionist who was obviously sick kept sniffing her snot while answering the phone and dealing with customers and talking to her friend about how she lost her phone in an Uber. So gross. Then we went next door to check out glasses. He found a couple of pairs that he liked. We were told his glasses would be ready in a week. Well a week came and went. We didnt get a phone call or an eMail. I called them on Oct 31st and was told the glasses were there. When I asked why wasnt I notified all I got was excuses. I was told the glasses came in on a late box and they werent checked in. Then I asked if I could come by to pick them up that day and I was told NO because it was Saturday and they were very busy and wouldnt have time to check the glasses in or have my son fitted. At this point I just want a refund and go someplace that has time.

I have been coming to this Visionworks for a few years now. They have the best selection of petite frames. Although everyone has been helpful, my recent experience with Heather was the best ever. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel like she appreciated my business. She helped me pick out frames that worked for me for sunglasses and searched for the frames I loved from last year. Thank you, Heather!

Although Leela was the main one to help me, everyone i talked to was extremely courteous and awesome. Leela went above and beyond to make sure i was 100% confident in my purchase and ensured i got all the beneficial add ons that fit my needs and my budget. I have worn glasses for the past 40 years. This was by far the BEST experience I had picking and ordering glasses. Iris and Crystal were amazing and provided great insight and explanations for all my questions. Brittany was a joy to work with over the phone when I called for pricing before selecting Visionworks. This was as easy an experience buying glasses as I have ever had. Their selection of frames was outstanding and the staff very helpful. The best was part was ordering glasses on a Monday and getting the text message saying they were ready on Friday. The original estimate was 10 working days, but mine came in 4 days. I will definitely go back when I need glasses again.

This place saved my life!! I went in and got my prescription glasses the same day when my normal doctor said it would take 4-5 days. So nice and caring, very prompt and convenient!

This was the best experience Ive had buying glasses! I knew I specifically wanted clear frames and I was given several options to choose from. Iris was very helpful and super friendly. She thoroughly explained the options on the lenses and the insurance process. When I picked them up, Brittany adjusted them perfectly to my face. Repeat customer! Shopped around the mall today comparing prices and it was cheaper for us to get our glasses here- OUT OF NETWORK (pay out of pocket) than it was to use my insurance elsewhere. Furthermore, Iris is FANTASTIC. Shes a great manager, knows her stuff, always helpful and upbeat and shes great with my family. Will absolutely shop here again.

I have been wearing glasses for almost 15 years. My experience here was the best eyeglasses buying experience of my life. Heather was the main person that helped me and she mad sure I found a pair of glasses that could be adjusted to my liking. She also made sure that I received an excellent pair of glasses at the best price possible. This was my first time using Visionworks and after my experience, I dont plan on going anywhere else again! I was approached by another lady that works there with a very soft/quiet voice and she was very nice as well. She was in the middle of doing something but she stopped and took the time to approach me and let me know that she was there for me should I have any questions.

I had amazing customer service and glasses from this store! For the first time ever, I purchased 2 pair. I have a really high prescription so typically, I cant afford 2. And when 1 pair didnt come out just right, the manager worked with me to get them just right. I will most definitely come back next time I need anything for my eyes. Loved the service at this store! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! Crystal helped me pick out a cute style that worked for me and Brittnay cleaned them and fit them to my face perfectly. Very good service! I ordered a pair of glasses last Thursday and they were ready four days ahead of schedule. Crystal was especially helpful during the ordering process; she took her time to go through several different pairs of glasses to match both my preferences on appearance and price range. She explained everything very well, including how much of the overall price was covered through my insurance versus my out-of-pocket expense. I had a great overall experience, and will certainly return if or when I need a replacement pair.

Iris was a huge help when making a decision in which frames to get. All the employees were pleasant and enthusiastic. The doctor I spoke with was willing to go above and beyond to help me get the prescription I need.

They accepted my walk in and had me in for my exam in less than an hour (only $60). While waiting I went next door to pick out my frames and had plenty of help choosing the right pair. I was shocked to find out they came in today since its been less than a week!! I would highly recommend.

They accommodated a last minute appointment at the optometrist without any issues. Even though the place was swamped, Crystal was extremely helpful. She was not pushy, and helped us get the exact glasses I wanted! I’ll will be coming back next year!

I called and spoke with Devin twice and he told me that they do not accept the insurance plan that I have with Anthem. I called anthem and had them verify this is not correct. I also had anthem call Devin and inform him this is not correct. My Anthem representative told me that he said the plan they were offering in store is better than what Anthem is offering us. Well he needs to allow the customer to come in and compare the two side by side and allow the customer to make that decision. He also needs to provide proper information to customers calling about their eyecare and not be self serving by only wanting to push the discount plan they offer. He is also very quick to dismiss customers with this anthem plan. I was the second customer he did this to; he himself said he told another customer this same thing last week. Needless to say; I will not be coming here for anything.

I came in to use my insurance that is rarely taken & the customer service rep (Markiah) greeted me with a friendly smile & great news.Not only did visionworks accept it but she walked me thru step for step.I first selected a frame that was very economical. She advised me that if I didn’t take full advantage of my plan I would be losing out almost $130.00.By the end of her help, & my top name brand selection... I walked out only paying $15!!! Thank you Visionworks & huge thank you Markiah!!!

I am a beautician, stylist and lapidary, Iris at this location serves a number of my clientele. I have heard and experienced nothing but excellent service with her and the staff. I recently had an eye infection and Iris directed me to Dr Barbash and I was given superb care in an clean neat environment from both offices. They are a must when it comes to your eye care needs!

The ladies here were absolutely amazing. I was having a difficult time deciding on what glasses I wanted, and the ladies jumped right into action to help me decide and find frames that fit me. They made the entire experience a fun one and not as daunting as it could have been. As a constant eyeglasses wearer I appreciate everything these ladies did and the professionalism the displayed. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars was because there was a limited amount of female glasses made or available for those of us with wider faces. Despite that, I would definitely recommend visionworks at lynnhaven and come back again!

I was having an issue with my eye and needed an exam. I scheduled a first time visit for Friday which was four days out from when I called. The morning after I called, my eye got worse. So I called the office to see if they could squeeze me in for that day since I called out of work. McKayla worked it out so I could come in and get my examine. Kudos to you McKayla for giving excellent customer service!!! I really needed to be seen and my eye could’ve gotten worse. So I truly thank you. Dr. Barbash was thorough and super friendly! After my examine, I received my new prescription for glasses. I received superb customer service from Devon! He is very kind, honest and takes quality individualized time with each customer. You definitely leave feeling well taken care of and that your money is very well spent. Thanks to everyone else that greeted me and helped me while I was there as well. It is a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. I will be a returning customer for sure.

My experience at VisionWorks was wonderful! The people there have excellent customer service, and unbelievable patience. I spent a lot of time in the store because I hadnt had glasses for, at least, 10 years, and I needed professional help with choosing the right frames for every day wear. After my walk-in appointment with Dr. Barbash, Crystal took her time to help me find that perfect pair. She gave me her honest opinion, and thats exactly what I needed. Heather got me fitted for my glasses, and worked out a sweet deal that I couldnt walk away from! Special shout out to Iris, the Store Manager...I was in there so long that everybody got hungry. So, she went and got us cookies! Shes awesome for that lol! I got my first pair of frames from them at little to no cost last year, and Ive gotten so many compliments.I do plan to purchase another pair from VisionWorks this year. Theres two pair that Ms. Irene already helped me pick out, so I look forward to getting those within the next couple of weeks.

PLEASE AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID.Bought two glasses for the cost of one. (Read through my review for the real kicker at the end) One pair was for my elderly father, and one was for myself. Fathers frames and lenses were fitted beautiful/fine, but my glasses did not improve my vision without tilting the frames at a 45 degree angle away from my face. This put the arms of the frames 3 inches above my ears. In this position, I could see GREAT, beautifully. However, the manager was firmly adamant I was in the wrong, even though I proved REPEATEDLY and effectively that I could not see well at all with the glasses placed normally on my nose and ears. Manager would not back down. She would not listen, was interrupting, getting argumentative and was trying to make me feel like I was not very intelligent. I tried explaining repeatedly that my lenses were wrong wrong, wrong. My vision was NOT corrected.At this point, I refused the glasses, but I said we would keep one pair--my Dads. Almost 800.00 for two pairs (the type of lenses we had ---bifocals are expensive) yes, TWO for the price of one. So, since I wrote one check three weeks ago, in order for me to return the glasses and get a refund, I had to write ANOTHER check for that amount, they would refund the 100.00 for my glasses on the spot, and I would have to wait 30 days for the the first checkto come back from corporate. WOW..so, Visionworks sits on almost 1400.00 of my money for awhile, and I have to TRUST them to refund what should have been returned ON THE SPOT.I was so disgusted with the manager, that I kept the glasses that do not work only because my Dad loved his pair. I was afraid had I written another check for almost 800. VisionWorks would have found another problem and I would NEVER see my money without going to small claims court.This store does not strive for customer satisfaction, and as we are on a limited income, to write another check for almost 800, get 100 back and WAIT for the balance to be returned was really cruel.Another site online with reviews on this company, country wide, and had I first read the reviews posted there--over 180+ with a one star rating--- I never would have purchased glasses there.. Reviews reflected problems I encountered. Steer clear.
