Dr. Gilbert is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He does not try to push unnecessary services on you and speaks to you in clear, easy-to-understand language. I love that I can, for a small extra fee, have pictures taken of my eyes and avoid getting them dilated. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

So glad to have found this place. Everyone is incredibly friendly and informative. During my eye exam, Dr. Wilcoxen seemed like an old friend and she made the entire experience stress free. The nurses were also incredibly friendly, as were the receptionists. Im honestly glad that my old optometrist closed up shop, because had they not, I never would have found such an intimate eye doctor.

Dr. Willcoxson was phenomenal! She was very helpful and made sure my sons eye care her priority. The only reason for the 3-star rating, and it would be lower if the Dr. Willcoxson did not bring it up, was the front desk receptionist. She was dismissive, rude, and very short.I had asked for my sons pupillary distance as to buy glasses online, as kids tend to lose glasses frequently if not glued to their heads and do not have $200+ to throw down every 6-9 months on a new pair of glasses. Ultimately, her response was as I explained above, very unprofessional.

They explain every procedure in enough detail for you to understand what each procedure is for and what the results say.about your eyes. The doc is awesome - he reviewed my chart from the last visit, explained in simple terms what my results meant, made sure to ask if I had questions, and is a warm and welcoming person.I also finally ordered new glasses after about 10 years. The person who helped me was so patient, kind, helpful, and offered great advice about frame shape, sizing, lenses, you name it. I had a great experience 2 years in a row, and I wont go anywhere else for eye care in the area.

I’m glad I found Gilbert EyeCare on a Google search after needing urgent eye care & I didn’t want a doc-in-a-box to handle my eye getting back to normal. Gilbert Eyecare is absolutely phenomenal!!! From being greeted at my vehicle to the very end, I was comfortable and felt welcomed! I don’t remember her name, but the woman who greeted me and did my original photos was spectacular. She was so SWEET and PERSONABLE and really cared! I saw Dr. Coxon who was EXTREMELY knowledgeable. She helped me understand my eyes more by telling me why they are doing what they are doing. And how to prevent and/or treat it. I was then helped by the AMAZING Pennylayne!!! LOVED her styling choices... I’m very vintage so I love the older cat eye and extreme vintage looks. Pennylayne nailed it!!! Thank you all SO MUCH!!!

Dr. Gilbert was excellent! We were not rushed with our visit. He took his time explaining everything about my husbands eye problem and follow up care. He did not push or recommend eyeglass until my husband problem was resolved. Joy,Christina and Jessica all were wonderful too. Great place with a great staff. I caught an infection in my eye that left me basically blind. Doctor Gilbert treated the problem and fitted me with a medical contact that fit over my cornea and renewed my vision! He gave me sight again and I cant thank him and his staff enough.

I had a wonderful experience with Gilbert Eyecare. I love all the high tech equipment,I did not have to have my eyes dilated because they have a machine that eliminated that step ( well for my exam anyway) also no big puff in my eyes another machine eliminated that. The exam was a breeze, with pictures and graphs Dr. Gilbertt was able to explain exacally where my eye care is and will be going. I was very pleased. Pennylayne my Optician had me come in ahead of time and had about 15 different frames pulled for me ahead of time, so as to shorten that process.She was fun delightful ,professional and really knew what would look good on me.I couldnt recommend this practice more highly.The office is modern ,clean with alot of inventory ,the front desk associated were very friendly and prompt.They are up on Covid 19 protocol. PLEASE READI have struggled seeing for many months. I have issues with my Corneas and recent Cataract surgery. I’ve always done my homework on healthcare before choosing a doctor. I’ve read many reviews on Dr. Gilbert. I cannot tell you in words how elated I was with his practice after one visit. Dr Gilbert’s approach was very calming. He took the time to explain my many issues and with one temporary lens fixed on my eye I was able to see 20/20. Perfect vision. I don’t know if the tears on my face was saline or overwhelming happiness. We still have some work to do but I am confident he will fix my vision and I’ll be able to function again normally.
