Nice quiet community but you have to watch yourself just like life not everywhere is always safe all the time I have some great neighbors on the side I live on...

I lived in this community and loved it. Good neighbors, clean place and relaxing views around the lake.

My nephew had his graduation party here. The room we rented was very spacious. Just a very good place to have a party at.

I currently live in kempsville lake community. It is awful, the kids in the neighborhood are loud and disrespectful. I had a large number of kids that got out of school and started to fight between my neighbors and my own house. Yes you do get harassed for every little thing wrong with the property. Ive had a notification on my door about my lawn being to over grown the day after I cut it. The trash service in the are is terrible. I put trash out just to come back from work and it was not emptied. Gave the trash company a call and they said the reason they didnt take it because it had black trash bags... we use only white bags. So i took a picture and sent it to them and they said they will have someone come out and pick it up. No one ever came. Cant wait to move!

Beautiful place very relaxing

Not much to say they do very little for the common areas, expecting the residents to do the lawn care. And during the snow they didnt even consider hiring a plow service leaving many elderly residents stranded. When the office staff was asked a rude un caring response was given. Many streets flood bad during heavy rain again no response from HOA staff. Called the city and found out they never even called so VB was unaware of the problem. Just wish they where more user friendly the fees arnt bad but dont justify the lack of service.

I have lived here for 5years with my husband and two kids. The neighborhood is horrible the homeowner association is horrible too. They have someone drive around every morning and look for different reasons to harass you about anything that not perfect;50$ fine if you leave your trash can out the next day. If you have weeds in your flower bed or driveway ifyou have rust anywhere on your house or shed. The kids in the area are horrible to my daughter doesnt even go outside because the kids are bullies. Ive had stuff stolen out of my car in my driveway. Me and my husband have had two phone stolen during the day.

I lived here for over 16 years, and I seen the neighborhood go down. They do inspection on the house appearance but not the people who live in the community.
