My father was in the psychiatric crisis center for trying suicide when my mother left him. My mother and I went to pick him up when he was released. Dr. Dhingra took this chance to counsel my mother to stop divorce proceedings and try to compromise. Then he asked me, Dont you want your parents to stay married? My father physically abused my mother for decades! Dr. Dhingra knew nothing about our situation, yet he inflicted his dangerous advice on us. Because of Dr. Dhingras comments, after we left the facility, my father lectured my mother throughout the drive that she was making a mistake and even the doctor says she should stop the divorce. Shameful and unprofessional. This man should not be a doctor.
