Set aside being knowledgeablea in their area of expertise, the meat department went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a special cut Even THOUGH hed already cleaned and sanitized for the day. I sincerely THANK you, Mr. David A. (meat guy) for taking the time to make a family emergency... Easier.

Pros & cons to Everything! Although my experience shopping at Trashas has been on a CON basis mostly. Today was probably my last trip there? True not all reviews may be valid?? Although I read several- dont know about other Bashas, but this store on River has Issues. List my complaints?? Why? Doesnt seem to help. Negative is my experience, the best to you who will shop there. I will say this- No chicken thighs although the sale was today and Saturday, take a rain check it might be in by next Tuesday?? What a Joke. Very poor management and false advertisement People!

I got one of their turkey dinners for 2 and was so disappointed, most of it was pre-packaged food i could have gotten myself and the turkey breast also. I guess, after getting their wonderful dinners before, I was expecting them cooking the food and sliced turkey. Ill wait for another year and not waste my money. Sad....😪

Ive been shopping here on and off for over 11 years. The selection is decent. The customer service is hot or miss between good and not good. I recently stopped in for lunch and got a good lunch special deal! The staff in the prepared foods section was great... After this recent shopping experience I can say yes to recommend this Bashas location to shop @....😄

Produce Department has a new look--Emphasis on Quality! It seems like the chain grocery stores produce departments are getting a new look.Smaller quantities with great looking fruit and vegetables in well-defined spaces are the rule. More affordable Organic too. No more piles of mass quantities. I noticed this new look at Frys Grocery on Ina Road last week.Sprouts however seems to be floundering. They were my go-to place for Organic and Fresh Local. But not anymore. Their quality has hone the way of Food City--seems like B Quality Seconds.

Pretty much what youd expect from a supermarket, but with fresh breads other ready to eat items and a nice Boars Head selection of meats and cheeses.This store seems to be clean and tidy each time I visit. Most items are restocked promptly and their dairy case is usually not missing any common products. The cashiers are polite. Most items are easily located within the aisles.

Great produce and an adorable little bakery section with an area to eat them. The meat department has amazing prices and good quality meat. The deli has a fire-brick pizza oven you can call ahead to order pizza from. Only $5 each and they are a decent size. The cashiers are a little standoffish and seem uninterested in having a conversation sometimes but other than that this place is great.

Usually they are pretty good. They dont play price games like a certain green store does a half a mile south of them. Theyre pretty polite, informed and helpful. The pharmacy here is wicked fast too.

While I was atBashes on River road in Tucson I encountered an older male shopping* without a mask. I mentioned it to a cashier. Her replyAs long as he stays 6 feet from others it’s ok.It’s not ok. It’s not responsible to do that. He and she put everyone at risk who was in that store as well as family and friends. I shall share my unpleasant experience my friends and family.

Ive been shopping here for yearsI had an issue with some steaks I bought them fri the 17th. Sell by date was Saturday the next day. I went to grill them tonight Sunday. They were very grey i went to exchange them expensive cuts of meat should be good several days after sell by date date.ALEXIS the managerasked me why I didnt cook them fri or sat im like the sell by date was yesterday expensive cuts should be good several days after sell by date not a use by date.She just kept arguing with me I ended up buying. More meat no sorry for the inconvenience, unprofessional horrible customer service. In the pastIve gotten home and the counter deli meat was spoiled ive never complained or returned anything.Very disappointed 😞The 2 additional steaks i bought tonight were tough and unflavoreable.. 50 bucks down the tubec or return anything

Oh yeah confusing because theyre in the middle of remodeling the store so you going there expecting to go one place and its not there no more because I moved it somewhere else so itll get some taking use to it

This supermarket is very well ran. The bakery has many wonderful choices to pick up and take to the office. The service at the meat department are extremely helpful and will take time to answer questions or to slice meat to your personal request. Cashiers are always friendly. The are aware when more cashiers are needed to keep lines quick.

My families favorite grocery store. Great service and prices. Bakery has delicious fresh baked donuts. Pizza is delicious! Produce is great quality!

Very poor customer service. I usually stop at the Bashaws on River after taking care of my parents up the street. A bag of groceries was left out of my cart today and when I called about it, the person that answered basically told me I was lieing! She could have asked me to come to the store with my receipt. Wont go back there again!

Nicely kept location with everything you need and expect to find. And some nice surprises like craft beer selections you can mix n match 6packs. Good sales for members. Constantly buying greek yogurt and protein drinks for lunch breaks :).

This location is fantastic. The deli/bakery/cafe makes amazing cannolis and they even have a brick pizza oven where they will custom make a fresh pizza for you while you shop! Lots of fresh fish, a live lobster tank and great cuts of meat. Great prices on produce as well.

There made to order deli sandwiches are better than Subway and most other sandwich places. The prices are also very good, meals are under $8. Brick oven pizza is also very good.

Beef tenderloin was on sale so went and bought two bags. This is the worst beef Ive ever had. I think they butcher dairy cattle. My first time to bashas but the meat was awful I am bummed.

Fast cashiers, clean store. Worth 5 stars on all categories except having sale items in stock. If youre looking for the thing you saw in the ad, dont plan on it being available.

Classy, clean, and big. Still Bashas with affordable prices and sometimes awesome deals. Makes you feel like you are shopping like a rich person who always spurlge! Its on a nice side of town too.

This place does not seem to ever get really busy to the point you wondered why you stopped in there. The management are really helpful with whatever questions you might have. A couple of the cashiers need a little moral boost, they dont appear to be very happy.Weekly specials make it worth stopping in.

Boy was I surprised! Thought it would be more expensive but its competitive with other grocery stores w/out a store card. I got a Bashas card n my favorite items were 50 cents to 2 dollars cheaper. Not only that but its beautifully set up AND they have an ice cream Shoppe. Got me a large scoop for 99cents. Went in for a lemon and left with much more.

Registers get backed up quick, because of staffing. But this is a nice clean store, with good product selection. Bakery employees are really nice.

Bashas is a wonderful place to go to get all sorts of necessities and goodies. The staff is very helpful and the lines are short. It is also very clean, and the prices are affordable.

Friendly staff and the store is always well maintained. Depending on what comes out in the ad, the deals here can be good at times. However, it certainly isnt the cheapest place to stock up on food for the normally priced items.

I have been shopping at Bashas for many years. Management & associates are very helpful & knowledgeable. I have never encountered any employee being rude or disrespectful.The store itself is always clean & stocked well. In my experience management has been seen throughout the store, not just an office holder.

Its always a very clean and pleasant atmosphere they are professional and patient very helpful I have been shopping there for many years never have I seen the store dirty never have I had to put up with negative attitudes in the employees very passionate towards their customers when my mother passed away I got all kind of hugs prayers love laughter and of course Joy Bashas at 2000 West River Road will always be my grocery store thank-you Bashas.

Everyone here is so friendly and kind. Its easy to get to know them if you live nearby and visit often. The produce is always good. Prices are good, they offer milk with no rBST. A good selection. Bakery is yummy and they have a brick oven for take out pizzas which are a great price for the quality. The starbucks inside is nice. A great atmosphere with friendly people.

I love Bashes! They have the very best fried chicken! Better than KFC, Walmart, Churchs or Popeyes! Also I love their Pumpkin cookies. Prices for the most part are good. The store is always clean and the employees are super nice !!!! 😁

Check all sell by or best by dates - Ive found products that were 2 or more months past the date. This is not a busy store. Deli and dairy are not fresh. All other Basha Tucson stores are very good. Also not well stocked. Looked for Tide pods - all that was on the shelf was small containers. Went elsewhere and bought large containers for a per unit price that was significantly lower.

Has great deli, meat depot. Bakery is touch and go sometimes good other days not just be staffing issue.

I am looking for a new grocery store. I was in the neighborhood, saw Bashas, and went in to get a few things.Empty shelves. Empty freezers. Nasty cashier. Very few organic products. Limited variety. Most items I picked up had dates that were expiring within the week.This store had very few products I normally buy. It has not updated to meet the wants of people who choose to eat healthier.I should not have to give up my personal information, by becoming a member, to receive sale prices. So oudated!Will not be back.

I couldnt find anyone willing to help me locate a roll of scotch tape. The carrot cake was extremely sugary with very little carrot. It was more a raisin spice cake with coconut and white frosting not cream cheese frosting. Gross.

Great place but I had ordered 2 pizzas which they said it would take 20 minutes. 25 minutes later when I arrived they hadnt even put my pizzas in the oven yet. I Had to wait another 20 minutes for them to cook them.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful! I always see people busy stocking shelves too. Ive never had to ask for a raincheck because a sale item was out of stock.

Good sales on the items that I want or need. I have the app and you get some money off some items. The wine prices are not at all in line with other stores. For example Black box is way less expensive everywhere else. Also the store at Contaro Farms Road needs a big facelift. Bashas needs to attract more customers.

Every time I give this store another chance I regret it. I keep buying wrecked frozen foods (full of frost), separated yogurt (somehow frozen), desiccated food from the deli (literally like it was left out in the sun for weeks), and dry/inedible produce. If I tried doing my weekly shopping here, Im sure I would just be taking home a big pile of garbage. Also, the checkout is ridiculously slow.

This is a great local store. The people are quite friendly and arent militant about there store courtesy cards. The prices tend to skew higher than Walmart but the sales are very good.

Super mean Crew in produce department, Marry (or how ever her name is called) has an attitude problem and the other short older guy does not even show any manners to respond to hello.I will never go to this store again even if they have any sale, besides this store is only good for sale items other wise its over priced

I have been using this Bashas since moving to the northwest side of town. It is clean, employees aee friendly and helpful, and it is never crazy busy. You can get in and out quickly with what you need. Prices seem to be on par with other grocerys but you can get some good deals. The only bad thing I have ever said about them is there meat, especially beef, is not very good.

My first time in Bashas. I was very disappointed. Service not good. Very slow.... No one was in any hurry to help you. They were even rude. Everyone there seems like they hated their jobs and people. Store not really nice. I would drive down the road to a much friendlier store.

Really like this location, clean and very nice employees but disappointed with last visit, literally no chicken breasts, had every cut imaginable, even the gizzards but NO CHICKEN BREASTS! Had to make a run to another store to finish my shopping list.

Tried getting a money order which the cashier reversed 3 times for some reason. Had the bank on the phone for the 4th try after waiting for him to talk to his friend and give me excuse as to why he did it.Would never go back

I see a Dr. up the road, so about every 2 weeks I shop here, and I look foward to it, the staff is great, from the managers to the cashiers, the store is very clean, and has all the brands I use, store brands are fine, I especially like the produce area, their grocer is the same guy all the time and there are always great specials! The meat department always has thr freshest cleanest meats, always running meat specials! The store is not enormously large, so it doesnt take long to shop and can find anything quickly. I would be proud to recomend this store to anyone!

We go to Bashas for one reason only--the pharmacy.The pharmacists and staff are exceptional.On the other hand, I stopped shopping at the grocery storeyears ago (they had been my primary store) when I returnedtwo eggs which were cracked (18-cent value) and was made to feel like a criminal.Their attempt to save the store a refund was a penny-wise and pound-foolish decisions which has cost them thousands of dollars in profits.
