DO NOT COME HERE IN A CRISIS!!Now that that’s said, sorry in advance for the long rant-view, but I’m very frustrated with these people:My husband made the commitment of attending therapy for mental health issues largely associated with going blind over the last five years due to type 1 diabetes & Graves Disease, and the fact that I survived a brain hemorrhage right after giving birth to our daughter, which left me hemiplegic. Just try to imagine how helpless these life changing events could make someone feel..On the day of his appointment there was a complete lack of professionalism from June, the intake person or therapist; really not sure because she was so very vague on who she was and why he needed to speak to her for questions that are almost always filled out on a simple intake form (such as “Sex?” “Race?” “Sexual Orientation?”). I sincerely hope this is not this June’s only job at Pathways because that would be a HUGE waste of [tax-payer] money to pay this person to ask questions that could be done in an online form. Oh but first, she sent the Zoom link with the wrong check-in times listed but was frustrated with him for not being on time for his appointment! 🙄So my man got a little frustrated and his sarcastic sense of humor came out and he asked why she would waste his therapy appointment time with paperwork questions he could have easily answered beforehand and referred to her as a “head-shrinker.” This was when she got offended and told him that actually she has her Masters degree (congratulations on that waste of money) and that she would not see him because she felt threatened by him. At worst, he was being rude, but really it was just sarcasm. We definitely judge an individual’s intelligence largely in part by their sense of humor and how sophisticated it is. Needless to say, we’re glad she is not going to be his therapist because that’s just scary that someone in that profession, supposedly with a master’s in the field, lacked professionalism and compassion for someone with this level of trauma. That was all bad enough, but then my husband tried to talk to Sherry the “manager” and she disregarded his word completely and told him he couldn’t be seen at their practice. I think it’s good to have your employee’s back because the customer is definitely not always right, but this is not fast food, it’s mental health! Someone is experiencing mental and emotional difficulties and was written off completely because they were irritable and disagreeable? Thank god he wasn’t suicidal.

SPEECHLESS! I called to make an appointment for my mom who is 71, was told they dont see patients over the age of 65! They also didnt have any available counselors that accepted Medicare or AHCCCS, although they are on the provider list. Tucson is full of seniors and they wont see patients over 65? This should tell you what kind of place it is and how serious they take their patients. I would give less than 1 star if possible.

Terrible service. My daughter went there a year ago and the psycitrist didnt do anything didnt talk didnt give advice didnt evaluate my daughter or anything. Started seeing a councilor through her head start and she gave her a diagnoised. I needed further evaluation so I went back and they said that the diagnoses the councilor gave me is wrong and there is nothing wrong with my daughter. How can you say there is nothing wrong without evaluating her? Her head start teachers were very concerned about her behavior and licenced doctors arent? How am I suppose to get the help I need for my daughter if no one will help me? This is not the place to go if your searching for help.

Their automated service says they will call you back within a business day. After almost a week of calling, and never hearing back, I have given up on every getting contacted. Between this, and some of the other reviews, it seems this place is not great.

If you love your child or family member keep them the hell out of Pathways of Arizona! All they ever did for our autistic son was keep him drugged up on dangerously high levels of hardcore pharmaceutical drugs. There was never, ever any improvement in our childs quality of life, never anything natural or holistic introduced, never any new science or approaches, it was just year after year of drug management. They have horrible crisis response protocols and time response, they dont stick up for their clients when legal matters arise, absolutely terrible experience! All they want to do is make money by putting your kids on drugs! In hindsight they held our child back from making any progress at all for YEARS! The prescribed meds at such high levels and for such lengths of time that local pharmacists were alarmed! Senior staff members wouldnt return calls or emails, the whole agency reeks of negligence and incompetence! GO TO ANOTHER HEALTH SERVICES FACILITY, SPARE YOURSELF THE MISERY! THEY ARE DRUG DEALERS NOT CHILD REHABILITATORS!

Horrible people! Therapist quit on me because she couldnt keep up with my talking. Case manager lied to my face, I confronted her and she told me to leave. Never admitting fault. Cant help others, when you are not healthy.
