This company is a Joke. Dr. orders medical supplies medically necessary for a patients in home care and is paid for by the insurance company. Yet they get the payment for the equipment but dont deliver it in a timely manner and are very rude if you call to ask when it will be delivered.I contacted the insurance company to try and get information about when the equipment would be delivered and this company kept the insurance company on hold without answering the question for over 45min.Never again will I allow this company to have any doing with providing medical equipment for myself or my family. I dont care if a doctor orders it through this company or not. After the way they treat people I dont want anything to do with this company ever again. I would have given zero stars but it would not allow me to do so.

I have been trying to get a hospital bed for my nephew for three weeks. He was in a terrible motorcycle accident and broke both femurs, humerus, several vertebrae. He could not go home as it isnt wheelchair accessible. He is in terrible pain from sleeping on my couch. Every time I call (daily)I am told its pending authorization. When I call his health care provider they tell me either there is no request or its missing a code. They tell me to call the hospital rehabilitation that order it. When I call them they tell it was sent to Preferred. I have told them exactly what the problem is. Then I get told Joannas handling it and will call back. Of course I never get a call back. My nephew is suffering from this incompetence

On September 9 my doctor faxed an order over for a blood pressure cuff. I hadn’t heard anything by the 16th so I found out who they ordered it from which was this company and called them and they said someone had the order in their desk and they were waiting for the insurance company. On the 27th I called back again because I still hadn’t heard from them after I called my insurance company who said it was covered. I couldn’t get a hold of them because their phone systems were down so I tried again today. The representative told me that it wasn’t covered and I asked if they had planned to call me about that since it’s been three weeks and she said she thought they had called me and left a message or tried to call me and there was no answer. I never received a call or an attempt. Both times I had to do all the legwork to find out where my order was and what the status was. I never received a call from this company. I looked online and they have received low ratings and I guess maybe I need to see what else I can do. I was also told that they didn’t get the order until 24 September which I disputed because I called on the 16th and they said they had it so I was given incorrect information today as well and the representative kept repeating when I had concerns about their customer service that it wasn’t covered. Very unfortunate

Horrible customer service. Was spoken to soo disrespectfully and when I asked to talk to the manager i was hung up on. After calling back I spoke to someone named Tamara who clearly was not a manager with training in customer service of any type since she did not care and did not resolve the issue in the first place.

I have been utilizing oxygen equipment supplied from Preferred Home care. Last night the concentrator broke down. I immediately phoned Preferred was on hold 1 hour 17 minutes. Finally was able to speak to someone. They stated some one would contact me to bring new machine in 1/2 hour. Three phone calls and seven hours later, yes 5 AM a tech showed up. I had a portable unit to supply my oxygen or I would have been in ER. My Medicare supplement referred me to Preferred. Tomorrow my supplement best change their source or I am changing my insurance. Absolutely terrible service.

I would give negative stars if possible.Where to begin… Get ready I won’t be brief.Post covid healthcare is already a mess. The fear has truly separated those medical staff who should be in healthcare from those who should reconsider.That said, I am a trained EMT and I volunteer for my state, that includes heading into scary situations.So while I am empathetic, the patient, those in need come first when you accept this responsibility.Preferred in Tucson is virtually shut down. They are running a skeleton crew and by appointment only with guarded doors.I have been suffering and it turns out the culprit is untreated apnea. It’s been a saga to get it treated. Insurance makes it hard enough. And when we finally reach the finish line to receive our equipment to fix ourselves, we cannot rely on a company such as Preferred.They booked me weeks after my final approval via my ins.Not because of volume, because they are choosing as an organization to operate this way using covid as an excuse.Apnea for some is a dangerous thing. And once you reach the point you have developed heart issues you can’t just keep putting treatment off because the healthcare professionals we depend on refuse to see patients in a reasonable manner.Once I arrived I was placed in a secured room like a visitor to a prison. I went through the normal paranoia questions and temperature check.Once cleared I was allowed to enter a private room with my tech to fit me. She was courteous but “bothered” from the start.I was presented with a machine, my number for the pressure, and given the choice of one of two masks.The options and benefits of various type of masks were not presented to me or even available for discussion as the tech could not wait to be rid of me.My impression was either she is mortified of cooties, or it’s the workload her managers have presented due to current policies, I am not sure. But I was certainly being rushed. I did my best to be disarming and thankful.I must suggest, if she is fearful then her company needs to provide her with bare minimum an n95 and not the cloth hankie she was given.The mask she proposed for me was the best so I appreciate her for that. But we couldn’t get a proper seal according to the unit test.So I said how about a larger face piece and she said no.She said it’s by nose size. Well, I have a giant head and I am a large person. I’m not fat faced, I am a caveman with strong jaw and high cheek bones you get my point.Despite my humor it didn’t work she wouldn’t even entertain me by measuring me.She just kept saying it was “weird”.Out of desperation and a clearly defined, get the “f” out attitude I left with the mask I didn’t like and hurt my face.I attempted to use the machine that night. I was threatened that if fail to use it 4 hours per day it would be confiscated from me.And as I suspected, it failed.Several times I was choked out and ended up bloated with lung pain and a severe headache from the extreme pressure.The mask bruised my face which is not uncommon.I have injuries that dictate I sleep on my side most of the time. And the mask I was presented is not compatible with my needs but she failed to work with me to fix the situation and claimed I can only have one mask.I did ask if I could purchase the other mask and she quoted me an absurd price starting at $210.00.Later while online, looking at similar company sites they were almost 35% on average cheaper than what she said they even start at.She also told me my machine was $1800.00. The average cost for my unit was $525 across several sites. I suspect mine is refurbished. It will shut off as of the second day of use with a mask a friend gave me that is made for this machine. I’ve red others with this issue, so I suspect they are selling used machines as new.I called to speak with a manager the next day and also to request lower pressure. The manager acknowledged my call to the secretary but after 26 hours has yet to call. I will file a formal complaint if not called by end of day today. Beg for ins to use another company.

I only deal with them to get CPAP supplies, but if you need to call some in, be ready to be on the phone for at LEAST an hour. It takes that long for them to answer, EVERY time, and that doesnt take into consideration the inevitable snafu you WILL encounter.

I have to give this company 1 star in order to post a review. This company seemed to do ok until my husbands authorization ran out. Then the services stopped with zero notification. When I called they told me they called and left a message on my phone which is not true. They actually did that to me 2 times, claiming they called when they did not. We were able to go with another company that was recommend by my husbands provider and although we just started with this new company their customer service is miles ahead of Preferred Homecare. When we made the move to this new company my husband called Preferred Homecare to let them know to cancel our service. If you have any choice in who your provider for home care products might be I suggest you dont settle for Preferred unless you have no other option.

They never deliver on time. Ive had multiple times were they said they brought it but I didnt receive it. After spending 30 minutes waiting just to talk to someone, I still havent received my oxygen. It was scheduled for Monday, came and went. Reschedule for Tuesday, still nothing. Reschedule for tomorrow, bet it dont come. Trying to find different provider.

Lacks care , delivering,management.Minimum call wait time 30 -80 MINUTES.Just had a stroke- 24 bottles x2 refills a month- to a Corporation failures of ( 6 ) bottles a week.Tens ORDERS - failures paramount to rest of FAILED Deliveries on the date or day after.And SOCIAL SECURITY ALLOWS THIS ACTION TO HAPPEN AS WELL AS ARIZONA HEALTH CAREWITHOUT REGARD TO LIFE..

My daughter is supposed to receive 200 catheter kits, 2 foley balloon catheters, 45 long tip syringes, 15 blunt tip syringes, a tube of lubricant, 2 kangaroo gravity bags, 15-500ml saline a month, and diapers.The order has been placed multiple times and has still not been filled/sent. Every time I call, I am told the order was never placed so they put me on hold to place the order. Now I am being told that they don’t carry or supply several of my daughters supplies! Why was I not told this sooner? The doctor has sent the prescriptions several times, the head nurse has called from where my daughter is seen at, a representative has called from my daughters insurance and we all keep getting nothing but the run around with these people.Why does the insurance force us to use this incompetent company I will never understand at this point but this is beyond frustrating . I can NOT recommend this company.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They set up a appt to fit cpap supplies, said it would be 2 weeks before they could come. No call no show, after waiting all day called to find out when they were comming.we were told nobody bothered to set up appointment. Them they wanted us to wait 2 more weeks. This is not a luxury item it is medically nessary. They clearly do about there client. I just made several call to change to them ,would change if I could. Pick another company if you dont want to make several phone calls and be on very long hold.also still be left without out supplies.

Some customer reps are rude and not willing to listen to issues. I received the wrong tube for my cpap machine and they told me they dont provide a heated tube and new one I got was the one that fits. It does not fit but they didnt care.

They send wrong supplies in a box, no packaging. Wrong size tubing for cpapGo to second wind cpap will save alot of phone calls aggravation.Report them to your insurance company and file complaints with your state board of health.When they getsanctioned, they will shape up or go out of business.Dont be a victim ...stand up for your rights.

Our son has a terminal neuromuscular disorder and is undergoing spinal fusion . Preffered Homecare was tasked at delivering a hospital bed to our home. When the delivery person showed up he stated that he doesnt wear a mask due to a medical condition. His entire job is carrying items in and out . He confronted my wife and was very combative. He stated that his company didnt require a mask . He grudgingly took a mask we provided and carried the bed into our home slamming the pieces into walls and dragging it across our floor. He should be evaluated for medical fitness if he is going to be delivering medical equipment to sick people a mask should be worn during a pandemic.

I got a script for a cup for Albuterol solution & Prefered home care wanted to charge me over $12 for a co pay. They said they are expensive about$98 from what they say but Amazon sells them for$3.86 for the whole kit. They dont care about the patent only making money. They sent me a bill for over $126 for my oxygen and I was told it was fully covered. Again they only want to make money and dont care about the customer- patent. I dont recommend anyone go here.

They told my mother that they would have her supplies to the hospital between 1700 & 1800. At 2000, she was told they are in transit, and would be another hour.Addendum. It was dropped outside of her hospital room door after 2200, with no contact with her or the nursing staff. They never delivered the home unit, or contacted her further.

They are so unhelpful, never remember to set us on auto delivery, and almost every time I call, I sit on hold for at least 10 minutes, and usually get hung up on. They refuse to even do the bare minimum of their job, and if they dont know the answer, they just say it cant be done without asking.

Multi-part review. The lady at the front desk was very nice. The person who evaluated my machine incorrectly should attend more training on troubleshooting as well as actively listening to what the client is saying.In the end, a part was replaced, but it took some significant push back from me in order to get the part replaced. I hope that I never have to deal with the physical location again.

I must say after today Ive had a wonderful experience with Debra who has helped me in so many ways and making sure I understand exactly whats going on today was the worst experience I have seen by far from another employee I believe her name is Val there was an elderly lady there and she said that she needed in an oxygen tank that she was having problems to breathe the lady that was helping her I believe her name is Val ignored this elderly customer that needed help with her oxygen that is by far unacceptable the worst ever your customers are your main priority not your second-best myself and three other customers were in the lobby when this happened the lady showed no care in the world on how this elderly lady felt how do you call that customer service its not and thats the kind of people that we trust with our mothers or fathers are grandmothers or grandfathers sometimes our daughters or Sons nieces nephews very unacceptable

My wifes CPAP machine stops working overnight. The light on the power supply goes out and the power brick gets blazingly hot. She took it to Preferred for service. They claimed it worked fine and that they tested it for SIX hours. The call from them was only FOUR hours after she dropped it off! Now shes stuck with a bad and dangerous piece of equipment they refuse to repair. Please, go to anyone but Preferred for you medical supply needs. Your life may depend on it.

A typical venture capitalist-run company, that buys up small companies, puts them under a single corporate umbrella, and delivers the cheapest product available with the smallest possible staff. Definitely a Goliath-type company that is using the most fragile of our population to make the hugest possible profit. Employees lie, promise one thing then deliver another (or none at all), simply dont give a damn. In all actuality, one star would be too many were is not for their oxygen drivers who attempt to satisfy their customers. I spend more phone time with these people and get less satisfaction than any Ive ever dealt with.

After being assured many times by the sales rep that they would provide on-call service for falls, they denied this when called. They were scheduled to transport my husband to an appointment, then cancelled, stating that they assumed we would not be using their services after I commented on the previously mentioned occurrence. Staffcif unprofessional and rude, especially Paula. Sales rep Roy will tell you anything you want to hear, but turns on you after the papers are signed. I am honestly outraged that this company is allowed to continue in business. I regret that there is no better way to warn people away from this disreputable company. SHAME ON THEM!!!

By far the WORST place of business I have ever had to deal with. The sheer lack of competence and professionalism at this place is astounding, and them providing medical equipment makes me very worried for others. I FINALLY got my wheelchair seat cushion after about 3 months after ordering the wrong size twice and constantly forgetting to order it, which led me to have to call over and over to check the status. They finally had the right size, but forgot to order it TWICE after I called about it. After two weeks, it was finally ordered. And even when your product does show up, it will sit in their warehouse until you call about it, because they wont call to inform you. Im sure I lost about 2 weeks due to them not calling me when my product arrived. I have zero good things to say about this place. If zero stars was an option, thats what they would get. Do yourself a favor and seek elsewhere.

I have gone in and had part numbers removed and ensured the correct items would come next time but it NEVER does. I’m so beyond fed up! After being told my cpap was under warranty I drove 45 minutes to have it checked to be told it wasnt under warranty after only 14 months of use but they checked it and it was fine and if I was worried a I could get a new one for $2000.. That night it didnt work at all!.I found a honest company that checked it for free and immediately found it was the power cord but said that it is under warranty for 2 years!!. Also prefered gave me a discontinued model and a new model would be $650. Prefered shouldnt be allowed to do BUSINESS at all!!!

A prescription was sent from my doctors office for a breast pump. My original due date was October 2, 2018. I never received a phone call saying the prescription was received and my breast pump would be sent in x-amount of days. Instead, I had my daughter early at 36 weeks and had to contact them. They said oh yes, we have your prescription, you were due October 2. Well, yes i was, but she’s here now. Poor customer service as far as communication. The girl I spoke with did take care of everything, but it’s a little late and I still have to wait for it to come in. My daughter is now 5 days old.

Im currently on hold with them and its been 16 minutes so far.They have some great, caring, wonderful staff. But most of their staff are poorly trained, rude, ignorant of medical terminology and unhelpful.The staff at the Tucson location are also okay. The respiratory therapists are good, the other staff arent very helpful.

I own a skilled nursing foster home and was forced to use this company because of a patients insurance. They have screwed up so many times I have lost count along with losing my mind dealing with them. They lose your orders send the wrong equipment and make decisions by denying patients equipment and telling me that the insurance denied it. Call the insurance company and they did not even get the request. These are just a few of the problems I have had. Its a long list of problems. Do yourself a favor and find another company.

I have been going through this company for over 4 years now. While sometimes they are quick and seem caring, 80 percent of the time I am disappointed. I get oxygen it is always that I have to pick up because it takes 2 weeks to deliver. I also have a family member who gets incontinence supplies, supposed to be on auto deliver and some months nothing gets delivered. So far though with my babys nutrition suppliments, for failure to thrive, they have been right on time calling me, asking what I need for her and delivering within 1-2 days. So really its a toss up.

Their billing department is horribly lacking in skills. They accidentally billed for Aprilss bill that doesnt come out till may and due in June on the March bill. I called and was told this was an error on their end but still expect payment in full on the March statements due date. Tried to explain they can t actually legally do this. Beside the fact something may change effecting April bill but more importantly the people who need the equipment dont normally have the money to pay when someone does the billing wrong! I do not recommend this company to anyone.

My infant son is on oxygen and requires a pulse oximeters. He has been on this equipment for a few months and have followed routine with applying the equipment and cords to him. We also had a lengthy NICU stay, so we are familiar with how to apply the equipment.My son’s pulse oximeter cords have shortened out recently. We have been trying to fix the issues by listening to the RT’s advice and troubleshooting what may be going wrong. Even after following their advice, the cables still shortened out. We have returned each cable, in exchange for new ones. They told us that they can no longer give us cables until the next month because of insurance purposes.What I’m not understanding here is I’m convinced it’s faulty equipment at this point. The cables have only lasted a day at this point and I’ve been extra careful with how to handle the equipment. It is not my goal to wake up in the middle of the night to request new cables and to even prove that I’m not doing this on purpose, I return the brand new looking cables that shortened out! To be told I can no longer have this equipment (that is medically necessary for an infant), unless I get a doctors note (which I will be trying to get now) is crazy. It is medically necessary and I’m returning the equipment. Not just trashing it and calling for extras.What is bothering me most about this is that if my baby stops breathing and I somehow don’t acquire this doctors note, that I won’t be able to get this medical equipment and I will be stuck with faulty pulse oximeter cords stuck to his foot.What boils down is that this matter is only concerned to them if it comes to insurance coverage. Steer clear from this company. I will be reaching out to try and transfer to a company with better reviews.

Have made multiple phone calls to line up a simple wheel chair delivery. Many, many minutes on hold. Only went with this poorly rated company because of insurance restrictions. Customer service is poor, delivery person lied about attempting delivery. We finally made arrangements to pick up the chair ourselves. Then they tried to tell us they didnt have what we needed when we got there after they told us on the phone they had it waiting for us!!! If you can avoid using this company, do!

Wish I could choose No stars. 0 was not an option. Appointments are scheduled several weeks out at best. First time I was given the wrong equipment. Second time I complained about the brand new equipment and I was told everything was fine. Third time was for the same problem. Horrible experience. After having the order faxed several times both by my Dr. office and my social, I had to call and stay on hold for hours to get the ball rolling. After four weeks I finally got a confirmed order and a delivery date. On the day of delivery I called to find out what time. They said oh sorry we messed up it will be next week. I argued and got a promise of the next day. Terrible to work with.

Ive been trying to do business with these people since 2010. It has been a hair pulling experience since Life Care Solutions was taken over by Preferred Homecare. I noticed a big sign in the lobby last time I was there stating that there was No video taping or recording allowed. If I were them Id be embarrassed by the way my employees treat customers too, and not want it published for the public to see! They have folks on Medicare hooked now with the new Medicare service provider rules, and they know it. Expect to be treated dismissively, and like you are a bother just for being there, its ridiculous!

On hold second time over 25 minutes to be told attempted delivery on the 27 of April but after informing them of their mistake on address which was verified I still dont have it. When I got Cpap machine I was told I would receive scheduled supplies and now that is a lie. I have to use them as insurance dictates.Attitude of young lady was lousy . I will go down in person to reorder anything else.

This company doesn’t know what is going on with insurances, back in November of 2018 my daughter needed a nebulizer and they called me to let me know that I just have a “Co pay” of $20 and I specifically ask if that was check with the insurance because I rather buy one online (range between $30-$40) they said oh yes your insurance will pay for it, you are only responsible for the co pay! Well... I got I bill from prefieres homecare for the full amount now (3 months later) I called and I asked why I’m getting billed? And the customer service rep (rude) said that my insurance didn’t pay because I needed to need the deductible first! So I ask her, how come you guys just find out, it is their job to do the research and be honest up front! This is a completely disappointed and dishonest way to do business, because at this point I can NOT return the nebulizer because “it’s pass 30 days” so pretty much THEY MAKE YOU PAY! At this point 3 months after you (patient/customer) are 100% responsible to pay 3 times the cost of something that you can buy for 1/3 less. Any way my advice to you it’s.. if you can, STAY AWAY FROM THEM, get to know your insurance and don’t trust ignorant people how are not qualified to deal with insurances!

During office hours they are okay. They do not work with the consumer...there is no flexibility at all, and they are often curt. After hours is another matter entirely. My oxygen converter failed this afternoon. Its nearly nine-thirty pm. Ive basically been on hold with this company since three-thirty, trying to get some help with the equipment.I am fortunate enough to have a portable converter, but that doesnt deliver the same airflow that I need to be comfortable. My physician cannot reach anyone at the company either...if I de-sat enough, Ill have to call emergency.Theres no excuse on earth for this kind of service.

If I could give no stars I would, my mother-in law is visiting from out of state & rented a Concentrator machine. The 1st night she used it the nozzle that the hose connects to would push into the machine not allowing the hose to be put on without us using pliers to get it on. Also hose is defective with kinks in it. When called for a replacement they said they would deliver by 5pm. 5:15pm no show/call. Called to find out the girl never put in order & would submit for no later than noon delivery the next day. Noon passes with no call/delivery. Call again, they extend the time to 5pm which passes again with no call/delivery. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Still waiting for my delivery. WASTING MY MONEY FOR DEFECTIVE NOT WORKING MACHINE. Guess they dont care that ppl actually need oxygen machines or whatnot. Dont use this company. I wont ever again.

Avoid dealing with Preferred Homecare! Horrible! Nasty Reps. If you have a wheelchair, spin the wheels as fast as you can to get away from them. Been waiting for cpap machine/humidifier replacement for 8 months. they said they never got the order after three or four individuals said they faxed it to them. SEVERAL TIMES! They bill insurance for a new machine and give you refurbished. I have been through 3-4 philips cpap machines/humidifiers in the last 8 years. 4!!! They send cheap generic filters not approved by Philips, and charge you or your insurance inflated prices for the filters and shipping via fedex or ontrac.They refused to deliver my cpap machine , instead telling me to come to their office. The closest bus stop is 1/4 mile away. Are they forgetting most clients are disabled? They send me supplies then send me the bill. when i call about the bill they said just ignore it. computer error. every month! one bill went to collection agency , even though my insurance paid it in full.

Do not use preferred homecare they will make you wait 4 months to get your equipment and once you have it; they will explain close to nothing about what is required to keep your equipment.

MINUS 10 STARS. I have been on the phone with them more in 6 weeks than I was with RXo2 in 5 years. At least a 20 minute wait (for each Department) every time you call in . There paperwork says they deliver items and they are not delivered. Must be making a killing off of Medicare. Have to call back today due to not getting items that the paperwork said I did. It too a week to get 4 bottles of oxygen delivered. The new concentrator they delivered was so noisy I had to get it replaced with one that was only half as bad. Ended up having to put it outside on my carport because of the noise. It seems Caremore is caring less about service for there participants. What a shame. I could go on and on about them, but just more of the same. My stress level with this company is so hi that with my lungs as bad as they are I will probably end up in the hospital again. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN CARE OF.

Customer service is crappy,also depends on who you get ahold of. My insurance switched and i had to use this company. Was told i need to wait 2 weeks to get a mask because i needed to be fitted. No other way. Called back got ahold of another person and was told sure you will have one in 2 days if you have a choice, go someplace else.

I arranged for a pickup after 3:15, telling them I would not be home in the morning. I got a note in my door saying the driver came at 11:00. I called and was told that the girl who set up the appointment did not put in a time range. This is hard to believe we we had had a long conversation as to when a driver could come.

Just one of a never-ending list of bad experiences with this company: Its 3:55pm. They supposedly close at 5pm. However, they already have their after hours phone message running. I have never dealt with the same person in this company twice; they obviously dont stick around long. Just simply a terribly managed company.

After receiving such wonderful care from Apria in the Kansas city areamoving to AZ was quite a shock. My Dr said that this was the best of a poor choice and that Apria was worse, very hard to believe this company goes out of the way to make things difficult or impossible.If it was not so expensive I would use pne of the C-Pap suppliers on the InterNet. There are firms out in the real world who try very hard and deserve the business more and this company would not exist if there was some real service company in the Tucson area, they would with out effort take all the business away from this company.

I used this company for CPAP supplies and the girl on the phone told me they had a particular mask in stock and they would ship it right away and I should have it within a week. After 2 weeks I called and was told that they do not carry that mask and never have. This is not the first time that I have been given wrong information by them. Plus, when I arrived for my appointment they did not offer me hardly any mask options, they told me a nasal mask is fine for a person who snores (it is not) and they were just uncaring and unfriendly in general. I was going to try Apria but I just read their reviews and they werent much better. I am not sure where to go for CPAP supplies!

The people up front have absolutely no knowledge about thier products, dont care about the health problems of the clients who are forced by medicare providers to get supplies there, and are generally rude and unhelpful. I had to explain the difference between a nebulizer mask and a c-pap mask to them. They gave me nebulizer medicine containers that are disposable, said I could only have two a month, instead of the ones I can clean and reuse. Dont expect any help from anyone up front, ask for a supervisor. I would gladly return to RX2O if I could. They ALWAYS were helpfuful, knowledgeable and available in emergencies.

Poorly run business. Sat on hold 15 minutes then found out I was sent to the Phoenix location and they said let me send you to Tucson and thats where I called to start with. Spent another 10 minutes on hold with Tucson for them to tell me that they need more documentation from my doctor on my request for a bed. So frustrated!
