My mother has been in the ER for over 24 hours. She has dementia and I am the Medical Power of Attorney and have been denied access to see her in spite of the fact hat I am Covid vaccinated. They are planning to admit her but have no beds. She fell and had some pain initially, but seems to be doing fine on Tylenol. Not sure why she is being admitted....

Transferred to North 2 from a smaller hospital. Great care by staff. Nurses and techs are the best. Doctors who formed my team were knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain all procedures and what was going to be doneMy husband was able to visit between 8 and 8. Even the food was good. Im home now and can only say good things about my care there.

If you care about your health do not go here!I have an allergic reaction to the Covid shot. Yes, they got me right back. My throat was swollen so I couldnt speak. They moved me to a different room and left me for 2 hours without a call light or anyone checking on me after giving me a breathing treatment that numbs the throat!Yes, they all apologized and said how sorry they were!I will never go back!

Everybody will have a different experience. But on my visit to the ER and subsequent admittance for the night was actually a good experience under the circumstances. In general, the staff was very helpful but my doctor was very good and explained things very well to me. The superstar of my visit was the nurse assigned to me, and others of course, Carole in unit 1 south was absolutely amazing. She was caring and very good at her job. Hope that if you have to stay there, she is your nurse. In my opinion, she went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable, knew what was going on, and had everything that I needed. 100 stars for Carole.

Thank you for your response, who do I call or email to provide the information you requested?A family member was in St. Josephs over the last couple of weeks. He had suffered a head injury, it was serious. Surgery was done and he received care in the Level 1 Trauma Center in ICU. He was not moved and sat up once in two weeks, which did not help his recovery. We never had a consultation, but the Trauma Doctors asked if we would consider hospice, we said No and thought this was highly premature. We know he looked bad after surgery and two weeks on his back, but they made some decisions that were a surprise. A doctor called us and said he had had a consultation with the Trauma Team. He said he was a palliative care doctor and felt that our family member would make it. He said he had a good rehab and said he would transfer him there. We said OK even though we had planned to use Encompass , which is an Acute Rehab with specialized therapies. His rehab was skilled nursing and although nice, it was understaffed and did not offer neurological therapies. Several days later, as our family member was walking the halls at the skilled nursing facility, I called admissions at Encompass. They told me, they were curious as to why he wasnt transferred there, but saw the file had Palliative Care all over it and Encompass would not take someone who was waiting to die. We never knew that he was labeled that and it seems outrageously arrogant. Our family member is at Encompass now and doing well, walking, talking, eating and a bit dingy, which is fine. He knows whats going on, know who everyone is etc.Tenet Health needs a policy on how a doctor determines that someone in ICU, post surgery makes a diagnosis like this. I would think that this would be an issue also for the AZ Board of Physicians.

If I didn’t have to come here for work I would’ve never came here and hope to never have to return. This hospital is so unorganized. First you walk in and have to tell your personal information to the front desk and everyone can hear you and hear her repeat it back to you in the mic so nothing is private as far as your name, address, and why you’re there. I got brought back to triage and get vitals and my nurse openly admit to charting my information into the wrong persons chart. Then I wait out in the waiting room and a lady comes by with her computer to get the rest of my information asking me all kinds of questions in front of others in the waiting room such as my social security number, where I work, my position there, my mothers name, phone number and address. Nothing is private. Then the PA called me back and said she was gonna give me antibiotics and send me on my way. The nurse came in with a tetanus shot and I explained I just had one a few months ago and had stated that to my nurse and doctor and she acted surprised. Then as I was leaving the registration lady was so incredibly rude. I’ve never used workmans comp before so I was confused and she was rude and not helpful by any means. Then to top it off I get a call this morning from that same rude lady saying she forgot to get my information last night… then she proceeds to ask me all of the same questions the lady in the lobby asked me. And when I tell her this she says that lady didn’t enter it. SHE WAS SITTING THERE ENTERING ALL OF THIS IN A COMPUTER, so who did I give all of that personal information to?? No privacy, unorganized, and so rude… I don’t recommend this place and I hope to never return. I get it’s a hospital, seeing lots of people. It was very busy last night but that was awful.

I had an excellent experience in the Outpatient Surgery Center at St Joseph’s hospital. I went in yesterday for eye surgery. From the beginning, I was impressed. A woman who registered me was helpful and clearly service-oriented. Out of all the nurses and technicians I dealt with, not a single person seemed inattentive. Whether there’s chaos at times, I don’t know, but I felt calm and comfortable and in good hands being prepared for my surgery. Everybody appeared to coordinate smoothly. I was once in a big university hospital for major surgery. I was fine until I was taken to a room after surgery. I felt ignored, and the bit of attention I did receive seemed to be a bother for my nurse. My surgery went very well. Of course, I completely trusted my surgeon who I had chosen after scouring the Internet for the best possible surgeon. I felt the people who took care of NDE cared about their work and about the comfort of the patient. If I have to go to a hospital overnight, I told my husband to drive straight to this one.

So much for that! I had a sleep study scheduled by my primary care physician. My cell phone filters calls not on my contacts list, so the receptionist or whomever she was got sent to my voicemail. She left a message saying she was calling to “confirm my appointment and liability”. Liability? What liability? She never said. I figured they would let me know when I called to confirm the appointment. I spoke to someone the day of my sleep study (which I had to take a day off of work for, I work Night Shift and they rudely informed me when I asked for a different day that they only did them on Mondays) and she asked if I wanted to confirm my appointment, and made NO MENTION of any liability (I had honestly forgotten). I go in that evening, and thankfully the guy who was going to take me back asked me beforehand if I could pay the TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! He said they’d attempted to get ahold of me to let me know, but had been unable to get ahold of me. WHY would you not MENTION THIS IN THE VOICEMAIL???? Don’t you think needing to pay $2,000 on the spot is a BIG DEAL???? I would have also appreciated an explanation of WHY I had to pay that, since I had less than that to meet my deductible for my insurance and I’m not sure why they’d charge me more. Then again, why bother to explain when you didn’t bother to let me know anyway? I ended up walking out without getting the study done, because I’m not paying two grand for it, and definitely not when I hadn’t had any notice or explanation of it. This thing had been scheduled for WEEKS already and no one thought it was important to tell me. This place has the worst idea of customer service or patient care I’ve come across.

I stayed at this hospital and was covered by insurance. They are trying to charge me instead of my insurance because they know that when they charge cash pay they make more than the insurance would pay out.I told them my insurance would cover it on the phone and they kept pressuring me to give them my credit card number. They said my insurance was declined.I ended up having to have my insurance send a letter to their billing department with my coverage information and demand the hospital bill them instead of me.

Absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been too! Extremely Unprofessional! And Unorganized! So my Uncle passed away from Covid-19 and I got permission to see him the day he passed away along with 7 family members! My family got to see him but as soon as I get to the ICU to visit my uncle one last time before they send him to the mortuary. They do not allow me to see him despite having permission from the supervisor the day before. And when I asked to talk to the nursing supervisor to straighten things out they call security for no reason what’s so ever! And not only that but my Aunt literally got a voicemail the day before saying That I was denied access to see my uncle in the ICU. And Literally that day I was in the ICU for 2.5 hours watching my uncle through a glass window. and that’s how I know I had permission to see my uncle the next day because as soon as I was asked to leave cause they had an emergency I asked if I could come back and they said yeah you could come back tomorrow. I’ve been to plenty of hospitals as a member of the military and let me tell you this is the most unprofessional and dishonest hospital I’ve ever been to! And I truly believe the doctor/nurse that called security on me for trying to straighten a misunderstanding (because I had permission the day before) did so because I’m part Latino!

The administration completed the check in process, my spouse waited two hours and didn’t see anyone. Finally went up to ask about the wait and they stated she had been discharged and would have to check back in etc. She never even got called to see anyone. And how do you discharge somebody without even having them sign paperwork or going over the discharge paperwork. Worst experience ever! My spouse ended up having to drive to another hospital, and if something major would’ve happened in between that time definitely would’ve had a different conversation with the hospital! Will NEVER go back, and will advise everyone who ask about this hospital to stay away!UPDATE: 20-25 mins later, spouse is now at another hospital EKG taken, x-rays in process within 5 mins of arriving at hospital. Now that’s service! That’s professionalism, that’s a hospital that cares and pays attention to you!if you have a choice - DO NOT CHOOSE ST JOSEPHS

Like many other reviews if I could give 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY. This hospital has the worst customer service and communication skills I have ever witnessed. I understand things are tough right now with so many covid patients however the treatment the family of a dying patient received was worse than anyone could imagine. We were first told NO ONE is allowed to visit the patient. Then we were told only the approved people on the “list”. There was no list of authorized people because someone who was not on this list was able to visit and “took” the spot of someone else. This was not our fault yet we were the ones responsible and not able to see our dying patient one last time. Please stay away unless you want to be lied to by rude staff. I hope this hospital can get it together.

They treated my sister horribly. Her room was gross and dirty when she got there. Her bathroom had mold. A nurse named Cynthia on the 5th floor kicked my grandmother out of the hospital saying the doctor said she could never come back, and then we find out from the doctor he never said she couldnt come back. She was in a lot of pain and they wouldnt help her and her nurse even told her to be quiet because her groaning in pain was going to disturb the other patients. I saw multiple nurses not wearing masks or washing their hands. The whole hospital looked like a scene from a horror movie with bugs and grime everywhere. And worst of all they wont let her transfer to another hospital. Do not go here even if your dying. You would have better luck going to a veterinarians office for help. They dont care about their patients at all. The nurse Cynthia even made a remark that my sister was sick because of her own fault and refused to help her when she needed it. Id rather die than go here, it would be less painful. The picture attached is the mold.

They call me back and started pushing medication in and arm started swelling. I told the nurse and she continued to shrugged it off. Only when I demand she look at it that she seen something was wrong and closed that IV and start another. They pushed the medication and discharged me. I didnt get the results of my blood work. My arm continued to hurt for several days after I left. I contacted the ER 4days later and they said its normal and put ice on which I had explained I had already done. This experience has been absolutely horrific. Lots of “accidents” happening that are requiring my 80 year old grandma to stay additional days. She wasn’t supposed to have food for tests (that st. Joe’s ordered) yet she was given food two separate times. When we asked why she had food our response was “sorry, accidents happen” and that she is going to have to wait again for the test? The staff put me in an exam room and left me there for about 3 hours waiting for a doctor. The entire time I was begging for help and howling in pain. Someone eventually came in and all they gave me was something to throw up in. Finally I was given a CAT scan that revealed that it was just a medium-sized kidney stone. They wrote me a couple of prescriptions and charged me $8k. The next time I think Im dying, Ill just die rather than go to this hospital.

I had to give 1 star review because there is nothing lower Im allowed to give for Carondolet St. Joseph’s Hospital. I had a hysterectomy scheduled for February 26th. Potential cancer stuff and I would like take care of my health. I was scheduled for surgery on Friday, the 26th of February. During this week, I was very stressed on the notion of being sedated and cut open for a major surgery. I receive constant badgering for a co-payment. In a 4 day span before the surgery, the hospital called me a total of 34 times for payment. I answered the phone 9 of the times. I kept telling them to bill me for the payment; I am dealing with my health right now. After answering all of their pre-op questions, the next questions were for payment and the only mount conveyed to me was $5500, the total deductible. I repeatedly ask them for my copay because co-pay and deductible are 2 separate words. However the only amount I was ever told was $5500. I have not had many major medical needs, but when I did, my insurance paid their percentage and I was sent a bill after the procedure, usually a few weeks after I recovered. Sometimes I would pay in full, sometimes, if the amount is large, other hospitals would happily accept a payment plan. St. Joseph wanted payment in FULL, upfront.I called the billing department the Tuesday before my surgery to try to set up a payment plan in an attempt to subdue these numerous phone calls I was getting from St. Joseph’s for payment. Sadly, the billing department at St. joseph’s said “Im sorry I cant do that until after services are rendered”. They stated they cannot bill me because they will not know what the bill is until all services are rendered.Tuesday was also my original date for my Covid test. The hospital called me and said they made a mistake and I need to take another test. I had to go back for another on Thursday, 15 hours BEFORE my scheduled sergury. This makes me suspicious of the hospital because I am aware COVID tests take longer than 15 hours to determine. The amount of unprofessionalism and greed of Carondolet St. Joseph’s Hospital are ridiculous,This hospital could not even get my personal information and emergency contacts correct. This hospital had my mom listed as my daughter and they called my aunt looking for my significant other, who is actually my emergency contact. Investigating their information further, I found they had an email contact for me that I did not recognize. They sure knew my number though…I did offer a small payment prior to the surgery to get them to stop harassing me. Finances at this point in time have been rough due to COVID everywhere and the fact I just moved to a new home and everyone knows the expenses involved with moving. They refused my payment. The fact I spend money every month out of pocket for health insurance makes no difference when I need health care. It does not matter if insurance is prepared to pick up $25,000USD in overpriced health care costs, If this hospital passes judgement on you that you are a “customer” who appears to be of financial means to pay in ADVANCE, they will work diligently to try to extort the insurance difference PRIOR to the procedure. It’s almost like they want their money first, because they fear you may die on their tables and want to make sure they are paid. If you do not pay in ADVANCE, Carondolet St. Joseph’s hospital will show you the door. They did me.Update:3 days after the hospital cancelled my surgery, I received a call from the Pima County health Department asking me about any symptoms I had related to my Covid diagnosis. This was all to my surprise as no one told me I had Covid. As it turns out, I had a Covid test performed by Carondolet St. Joseph’s Hospital 5 day prior and 2 days prior to my scheduled and then cancelled surgery. AS I had no symptoms, nor have I ever had symptoms, It came to my surprise that for one, I am being notified by the County Health Department first, instead of my supposed caregiving facility and second, being that I had no symptoms and haven’t been sick

The first time I went there the main entrance was closed and there were no signs on where to go. After looking around which admittedly I took too long to do I found that if you follow the building to the left of the entrance there is a little garden area. If you wonder back there, there is a sign that says womens center entrance, ring for service. They knew right away my sister was emotional support and asked her to wait outside. I get that this was done to help filter patients into the business due to covid and of corse for the protection of the women expecting but you think they would have a sign on the main entrance saying this way to entrance. If it werent for a guy in his truck in the no parking area, I wouldnt have even thought to walk into the garden section of the building. The doctors are nice and helpful. My first visit took way long (4 1/2 hours Friday at 12:00), but they were also super busy. My second visit was on a Sunday at 9am and I did all the same exact things as the first visit in a fraction of the time as I got out an hour later. I dont know why they held me the first time to tell me the results of my blood work since they have no trouble calling me for check in and other stuff since my Sunday appointment. I guess also dodging the calls because my post here the first time was unhelpful too which is why Im changing it to be more so.Basically they need to update the sign cause people need to know where to go. And for that Im gonna keep the rating as is. Cause if I needed more help then what I was provided I would have went to the emergency room for an even worse experience and bill.Another weird thing was when I first checked in they had my name and my mothers name correct but someone elses addresses and phone numbers which was weird. I updated it, but Im concerned on stuff I might have missed out on bills or otherwise as a result of the last one being wrong. Still wont know until I get the bill though I guess. Im just worried since it hasnt come in and all of this was at the start of the month, Im sure the covid thing is what is slowing it, but it doesnt ease my fears. Awful experience giving birth here in 2013. I am pregnant again with my second now and I find myself reflecting on how horrible my experience was here, I recommend against giving birth here. I was pressured into being induced, never given alternative choices nor was it fully explained. My entire labor was drawn out and painful. They used pitocin, never warned that it would make the contractions more painful. My water was broken by them, never were risks explained (such as the increased risk of infection, which I did end up with an infection). I tore during labor and afterwards as Im watching myself be sewed up I ask what degree of tear I have and the person sewing me ignores me as if they cant hear me. They brought people into the room without warning. Horrible environment, they wake you up every few minutes. I left the hospital rundown, exhausted, with a tear I had no idea the severity of, and an impending infection. F**k this hospital.

Hospital is in network, but their ER DR.s are not in network and they will overcharge you for this. Better to go in there without insurance than with it. They contract with staff from sound physicians and they are a horrendous company to deal with. Go to any other hospital and hopefully ST. Joes will be out of business and a real hospital can take over.

Do NOT use this hospital’s emergency department. I spent $90 and endless hours there yesterday. I’d had my gall bladder removed a few days before and was having some severe pain in the area of my appendix. There were no beds available so 8-12 of us were put in an overflow waiting area. After about 90 minutes a nurse (?) took five vials of blood. She sad I would be getting some morphine for pain and a CT scan to look at my appendix. An hour passed, then two. Nothing. No morphine no CT scan. Finally, someone came to me. It sees the system that transmits my blood (and urine) had broken down, so they needed more blood and urine. I tried to put out of my mind how sanitary the system might be if blood and urine were leaking down onto other containers.Another hour passed, maybe two. I was feeling hopeless. No one seemed to care. No morphine. No CT scan. I finally gave up and found a way to sneak out of the ER. No one ever called me or my wife about a missing patient. No one CARES!Once upon a time St Joseph’s Hospital was THE place to go. My son was born in the Wildcat room. My gall bladder was removed there, as was my wife’s. I’d sent 48 hours there in 1995 for high blood pressure. No more! I will NEVER go to this place again! Before having my gall bladder removed I read the reviews of St Joseph’s, which seemed very negative. Trust me. They are not negative! This place is a joke! You are putting your health, and maybe your life, in the hands of over-worked, clueless morons. Believe the bad reviews!

After being a patient of Dr. Mark Bessette at this office for a number of years, I received a letter stating he was permanently leaving town with extremely short notice (less than a month), and the other doctors in this office would be taking his patients. I called the office, only to find out that last part was in error: the doctors in this office are flatly refusing to take on Dr. Bessettes patients. When I pointed out that the provider website shows their physicians as accepting all patients, they responded that does not apply to Dr. Bessettes patients, even if I am willing to wait six months or longer to get an appointment. In other words, they are specifically ***blacklisting*** anyone from their departing partners list of patients, and both they, and Carondelet Medical Group are refusing to assist those patients in finding another physician outside of this office.I understand these were unforeseen circumstances all around, and I feel for this offices staff who have no doubt been taking very angry calls since this started. This does not excuse however the complete lack of assistance in making sure their patients are being taken care of. We have been cast out, left on our own, door slammed in our faces. This is completely unacceptable behavior. Im not the kind to initiate a lawsuit over something like this, but if it goes class action you can definitely count me in.

St. Joseph’s became a level 1 trauma center. Y’all are not equipped and too small of a hospital for that. It’s too much. TMC would have been a better choice for a level 1. Staffed is overworked here and they continuously have patients laying in a gurney IN the HALLWAY for HOURS on end. It used to be a good decent hospital but will now be taking my dad else where. They didn’t even really explain what was wrong with him, just sent him home still clueless.

I am incredibly upset with this hospital and in particular the unethical way they treated my 103 year old mother. As my mom was getting better and close to being able to go to a skilled nursing/rehab facility my sister-in-law and I were asked to chose a few facilities we liked by her insurance company. There was a clear #1 choice, Foothill Rehab, and a second in case it was full. But!!! We were not informed that she was ready to be released and WERE ONLY TOLD MY MOM WAS RELEASED WHEN SHE WAS ENROUTE TO THE WRONG FACILITY!! This caused undue upset for my mom...again a woman who is totally lucid but 103!!! The Case Management employees at St Joseph took NO responsibility and actually lied to me. I am reporting this ethical breach to Tenet Healthcare, her treating physician and Medicare!

Took my spouse who is disabled for outpatient procedures. Very long wait times for registration. Employees passing through have zero interest in trying to help such as am I in the right area. No one available for help, no wheelchairs available with no assistance for an incredibly long walk, with his walker (I use a cane) he could only ambulate a short distance without having to stop. As a retired hospital Administrator myself, I was extremely disappointed in the level of care available. The level of cleanliness would not have been acceptable at my hospital. I informed his primary care doctor that no future referrals could be made there.

There’s no doubt that being in the hospital is no fun. It’s all hurry up and wait. Even though TMC is right by my house we decided to come here because it’s smaller and we hoped less stressful. We thought we would take my mom for a quick whirl through the emergency room and be back home. Three days later we are still here. So, considering it not under the best circumstances, I really can’t say enough nice things about the staff. EVERY single person I have encountered here has been lovely! The nursing staff has been very thoughtful of both my mom and myself. They have tried to keep me informed the entire time and treated me with as much courtesy and care as they have her. I’m super glad she ended up here. I highly recommend this hospital (but not the experience-I’m ready to go home and so is she!).

Do not recommend. Presented with hives, lip swelling and chest pressure which are red flag symptoms and typically warrant a provider to at least lay eyes on the patient. I sat in the external waiting room for 15 minutes before being triaged. Was then escorted to their internal waiting room. Waited an hour and left. When I informed the charge nurse of leaving AMA (against medical advice) they just insensitively said ‘ok’ without appropriate exiting instructions. Just unacceptable. Thank god I took a Benadryl on my way to the ER and had resolution of symptoms while waiting in the ER or who knows if I would’ve went into anaphylaxis.

Do not use this hospital. This is what us considered a “failing” hospital. There is a surgeon who has taken over the entire 4th floor and so the hospital is used for his patients. This us illegal but St Josephs has been willing to do this to keep the doors open. They do not have up to date equipment. You or your loved one will receive inadequate care and as was the case with my husband, eventually die.Again: Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. But do not use a doctor who uses this hospital.

The doctor on at the time decided they didn’t want to help me and sent me to labor and delivery side and then the doctor there was so freaking rude and grumpy. It took two to three hours to even been seen or get an IV. Also come to find out they charged me completely wrong not even as emergency to where insurance will not pay for it. Told my insurance It was a random appointment at the labor and delivery. I suppose this hospital doesn’t care if you have concerns on if you’re baby is alive or not. This place was an absolute nightmare to deal with and the staff are inhumane and abhorrent. They have no regard for just basic decency and the icing on the cake was when I was supposed to fill out discharge information and the nurse came in to remove my catheter. With the door open and me completely spread eagle and a man who is not in charge of my care (not a nurse or a doctor) wanted us to fill out discharge paperwork. The fact that a nurse and someone that deals with patient privacy would deem this as acceptable behavior to have a patient so exposed mentally, emotionally and literally physically disgusts me even further. Also when I requested a patient advocate or anyone to help me make my complaint known I was given a number and they refused to give me the details of the man that was in the room and knew he completely crossed the line. I was met with extreme disdain and disrespect from the nurse from the moment I got there and it never improved. I am literally in tears recalling last night and the blatant disrespect and the fact that I am still feeling very ill. So here I am making my complaint completely open to the public to warn them. Maybe it was just the two morons I dealt with but Ive heard a plethora of nightmare stories before about this hospital and have personally witnessed people released with IVs still stuck in their arms and completely out of it but this just confirmed that I wouldnt go to this hospital with a lethal gun shot wound. Literally leave me to die rather then send me back to this hospital.I will be calling Monday for a patient advocate and hope to have this resolved or at least make sure there is at least a report and documentation. I also have my husband as a witness and he is absolutely appalled.

The nurses are truly engaged and speak up as advocates on behalf of their patients. They are free to make recommendations to doctors and other staff members AND their input is taken into consideration. This adds to the excellence of care. He said I guess I can send someone in to check. Adding in a sigh like it was an inconvenience for him. And that only her iv ment for at least 20mins my mother was without fluids and pain management. It continued to get worse and worse. Next day I again called the nurses station to find out why I was receiving a call from my mother @3am crying asking me to please help her. When I spoke to staff the nurse replied. Not my shift wasnt there asked him if he was there for the patients or paychecks, he put the phone down and didnt even listen. Disgusting! There was a room full of people (they were sitting on the floor it was so crowded). The receptionist gave me a bucket and told me wait, she couldnt say how long. I immediately left and went to St. Josephs. As soon as I got there, they took my vitals and because they were crowded too, they hooked me up to an IV to give me fluids while sitting on the bench. THAT is patient care. Ive returned ever since for any issue Ive ever had.I dont care if they arent the fanciest or dont have high profile doctors, they are fast at taking care of their patients and thats what matters when youre in pain.

I had a great stay in January 2016 delivering my child, however the billing department is awful and they are wrongfully sending people to collections.Do not go to this hospital unless you potentially want to be sent to collections, three years later for money you were unaware you owed.I had my daughter in January 2016 and in January 2019 I received a collections billing statement letting me know that I owed the hospital money for the birth of my daughter. I of course called to confirm with the hospital that this was a valid claim and that I truly did owe them money. They confirmed and then when I told them I NEVER received a statement, they confirmed they NEVER sent one. They also did not send a claim to my insurance company until August 2018! I called and talked to another outside company (one that came up when researching St. Joseph’s Tucson billing) who is apparently ‘helping’ with their billing and she said this happened to many many people in 2016 and 2017, so I know I can’t be the only one! They are trying to reverse the collections claim, however I am mortified that I now owe around $2,300 from 3 years ago. I am a single mother and would have budgeted this in my life if I would have known. This is wrong to do to patients. Hospitals should have a grace period, but medical bills you didn’t know about should not be able to haunt you 3 years later when they can’t properly bill you. They should be responsible and also send you your bill before they send you to collections!Make this right St. Joseph’s, after reading through other reviews this seems like an ongoing issue!
