I just want say that perception counseling is great the classes realy help in learning new tools in life that help make you be a better person thanks to steve who gave me lots of support as my counseler an thanks to the people in the office as well they are very nice an friendly i give them big 5 gold stars thank you

I do not even know where to start. Deb and her staff are such amazing people. From the counclers to Teresa at the front desk who has to be the sweetest girl in the world. Perception has made a huge difference in my life, I no longer drink, they helped me to see that my life can be okay, yet better sober. I am so thankful to this group of people. They care about you and treat you in a manner where you feel it. THANK YOU Deb, Teresa and staff you helped me to a better life.

Perception Counseling has amazing people that work in the difficult area of court ordered counseling. Their expertise in helping those who made mistakes in life rebound to better community citizens is certainly commendable. Debra is an amazing counselor and follows the procedures she is given by the courts. She is extremely knowledgeable which I really appreciate. I have had the opportunity to observe the counselors and the group therapy sessions. Outstanding! Another benefit - her clinic started taking public and private insurance which will save money. I am so thankful!

I would advise any one from coming here. I attended group sessions here just over a year ago and the owner (deb) put me in classes that had nothing to do with what was court order setting me way behind. She also was very absent to her group sessions and always got us confused. Finally after having a dispute with her about this she determined I “wasn’t fit” for these extra classes she initially told the courts I needed. After seeing the true colors from her I left this agency and went to a different company.Can look at my reviews to see what agency actually did their job right with out trying to scam me for extra money.

I attended a substance abuse class at this facility and it was thoroughly decently enjoyable. The front lady and the instructor we’re both friendly and attentive.

Theyre all about making money they failed to let know my ins was no longer covering my classes an waited to tell me when i graduated now i cant get off probation till i pay them off. Thanks yall

I just called to ask some questions regarding a family member and as soon as they answered the phone it was rude. Cutting me off trying to finish my sentences. I asked for her name she said doobie?? And shes the counselor there apparently. I dont think she understood not everyone that calls your place is the one in need of help. I dont like the way she spoke to me. It was with additude she even started laughing at me on the phone. Honestly one of the worst experiences. I highly recommend if your gonna get help from a counselor not this one. Pathetic!

I paid exactly 870 dollars to this place all for them to be the reason I want to do drugs. Deborah valder/Vader the owner is an absolute scam artist! I asked my probation officer to find me a good treatment center that wont make Me take alchol classes for a drug dui. She sent me here and I met my councilor Jim who was absolutely amazing! Deborah reported to Tempe courts multiple times telling them when I was behind on my payment to her which caused Tempe court to issue a warrant for my arrest she also came into a session one day and told everyone about my outstanding balence Now when it came Time for early deferment which means getting my breathalyzer out at 6 month I am a single mother and the breathalyzer is very expensive Im not asking for a free ride I paid Deborah valder/Vader $870 I did the classes but she refuses to click the button saying I did the classes. She lied to me and told me that everything was handle months ago. She belittled me Accused me of being on drugs. Then proceeded to spead lies about me to each and every person that called her trying help me. Lets just say for every one person like Deborah there are 3 more like everyone at Tempe human services Mrs. Webster, Jim, Peter and the front desk girl at the chandler mvd who tried their hardest to fix the hell she has rained on me so please dont make your patients, clients, probationees or anyone fall into this womans trap.
