The Doctor and Staff have been amazing! I wish I would have known that they do not refund you though when they have a billing mistake. They keep your money as a credit. I have had an amazing experience with Genesis until now.

Reception and front desk were helpful and friendly. I came to see Dr Laird, and after seeing her a few times I will not be returning. I had an IUD inserted and had it removed a month later because of complications. On removal I was told “it’s not the IUD it’s you”. Luckily I found a support group online of women with similar symptoms. Do NOT go here !

At 35 weeks pregnant, I switched OBs so I could deliver at Northwest and both appointments havent been handled well. I‘ll start with the second one because it’s the most ridiculius. I was scheduled for an appointment with the OB so I showed up, checked in, asked if the OB was on time, and she said “she should be.” 30 minutes later I go up to the front desk and a different lady told me the OB isn’t scheduled to work that day… so I had to wait another 30 minutes to see a nurse Practitioner at almost 38 weeks pregnant. The first appointment, the OB was 50 minutes late - how are you not going to tell your appointments that something came up and she won’t be on time? I will say I really like my OB and that makes up for these frustrating moments.

Responsive&flexible. Despite my problems with getting in to appointments, the staff remains kind, supportive and answer all questions with information that is helpful. I see this office for gym care only.

You need to change your covid practices. I watched a mother cry today because she had an appointment for her newborn, and her 3 year old son wasnt allowed in. They had to get an employee sit with him in the waiting room. I myself am 7 months pregnant and had to do a 3 hour glucose test. I have severe asthma and can barely breathe as it is, but was asked to leave because I couldnt wear my mask. I am sick of this. Get your stuff together. We are mothers. We are exhausted. We are pregnant.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chens for over 15 years. I have never had a negative experience with any visit; the office staff is always kind, efficient and professional and I have never had to wait. He is truly a caring individual with a great bedside manner and he is an excellent clinician to boot. If you are looking for a new OBGYN/Gynecologist look no further as Dr. Chen and his staff are top notch!

Anytime I want to make an appointment it takes over 30 MINUTES on hold JUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT; this is horrible. This was not a one time fluke, this happens literally every time I call to make an appointment; I have to set aside 30min+ of my day to sit on hold just to make an appointment. This is completely unacceptable & a disgraceful business model.

I actually really enjoy coming to this office, the location is clean, and the staff is friendly. I don’t ever wait for a long time. The whole duration of my visit I is usually about 45 minutes. My physician is Dr.Walker and she always makes me feel like I’m talking to a friend and not a robot.

Compassionate above all, but also friendly, knowledgeable, understanding and willing to go the extra mile for their patients. From the front desk ladies to your actual physician, all make for a wonderful team of caring.

My experience at this facility is always a satisfactory one. All Staff is very kind and patient. I especially appreciated treatment by Medical Assistant and my personal Physicial, Dr. Warner. I highly recommend this facility and my doctor.

The front desk staff were all friendly and working hard. Safety protocols were in place and followed by staff and patients. I was called back promptly by the medical assistant. She was professional, kind, and easy to talk to. Dr.Eisenberg was prompt as well. He is very thorough and takes his time. Highly recommended!

Dr. Eisenberg is a wonderful doctor. I have been with him for over 4 years, he was there for my prenatal care and all the care after. Very thorough very informative and takes his time with his patients. Never had an issue arise with office staff. They are very respectful and helpful. They are prompt at making phone calls when needed and give reminders of appointments. The nurses are amazing as well. Very helpful and informative of what is going to be next! Admittedly, I gave a somewhat negative review on Yelp because my ultrasound experience was so frustrating and my technician was totally unsympathetic to the fact that I had to wait 40 min with a full bladder. BUT Dr. Nelson is amazing! Totally different from my experience prior with Dr. Walker who was cold and aloof. Dr. Nelson was so kind and interested, even talking with me about school and she was proactive about adding a cardiologist to our “team” because of my mitral valve prolapse. If you can manage to get her, pounce on the opportunity! She’s so warm and knowledgeable, I’m completely satisfied with the care I am receiving from her.

Ive been seeing Dr. Fewell since I was 15 years old and she also delivered both of my boys. She is very understanding,caring,she doesnt judge anything,she has a great personality and is very informative and knowledgable. She forms a great bond with her patients and she makes the process easier. I love her😀

Dr. Rachel Walker is the best doctor I have had the pleasure of having. I was extremely nervous going into my appointment for some health concerns I was having, and she was the kindest, funniest, and most explanatory doctor I have had. I am so blessed to have been referred to her.

Dr Laird exhibits patience, kindness, and excellent listening skills. She explains things very well. The staff at the clinic are also great, asking good questions and displaying courtesy and professionalism.

Front office staff personable as was the medical assistant. Dr. Westerband was nice enough but showed a complete lack if interest in me or my medical history. This was a new patient visit. She came into the room a few pleasantries were exchanged, exam was completed, a known issue was commented upon and we were done. Not good patient care in my book. I will not be returning.

Dr Stevens is unbelievably personable, kind, and compassionate. She listened and provide support. I would highly recommend Dr Stevens and the entire Oro Valley office!!

I am genuinely surprised to see such high reviews for Genesis Northwest and find myself questioning their authenticity. I regularly have to go to urgent care instead of seeing my OBGYN because it is impossible to be seen without booking 6 weeks in advance. Many womens health issues simply cannot wait that long. I finally got an appointment for chronic issues, was told I wouldnt be able to afford the prescription I need, and was put on a less ideal prescription regiment to see if it would help without any follow-up or check-ins from my doctor on its effectiveness. It has not helped and I feel completely in the dark about my health. Ive also had test results requiring follow-ups which have gone completely unacknowledged by Genesis- one recent and one over a year old. Ive found myself in an infinite loop of desperately calling to follow-up, getting transferred to an assistant, leaving a voicemail, and never receiving a call back. When sharing my frustration with friends who also go to Genesis, the struggle was unanimously shared, regardless of the health issue. I dont know why its taken me so long, but Im proud to say I finally switched providers.

This place is great. My wife has seen a few Dr there and is going in for surgery soon. They are very prompt and listen and take the time to answer all questions and give us advice or all our options. Very professional and through. Dr Chen is very amazing and has made my wife feel comfortable which is not easy with this type of Dr. She feels very lucky to have him perform her surgery. She goes to the location onLa Cholla. Our daughter in law also see OB Dr on Grant location as shes gonna have our 1st grand-dsughter come Dec time, we are very happy and pleased.

I needed to post a review, since most of these reviews sound.. odd.This place is amazing. Dr. Laird is extremely professional and knowledgeable. The staff are courteous and efficient. And, while there seem to be complaints about their process, I myself am appreciative that they have a process in place during this pandemic.I think this is a stressful time for doctors and this facility seems to be handling it extremely well. I have a lot of respect for that since some customers/patients have been less than polite.

I have delivered with another doctor from Genesis OBGYN in the past.. I love the experience and the doctor but she is switching hospitals, I was given a new doctor. Amy Schneider! I met her for my first check up. She was sweet, attentive, serious (but also likes to laugh!). The whole appointment went great and I can’t wait to get to know her better throughout this pregnancy. From the time I called and set the appointment, every interaction I had with the front office, medical assistant, doctor, lab staff, they were all amazing! I moved across the country at 7 months pregnant and was very nervous about changing my OB. Dr. Eisenberg was so kind and reassuring. He did a wonderful job throughout my pregnancy and with my delivery. Dr. Eisenberg and his MA are the best. He takes so much time with you and answers all your questions. I never feel rushed, which I think is rare with doctors sometimes. Very professional and A+ service. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent experience for my first pregnancy. Dr. Fewell is kind, caring and takes a lot of time to answer questions and work with you to provide the best care for you.

When I got to the office on LaCholla the line to check in was out the door. They gave me 5 pages of paperwork to fill out. I couldn’t get it all done, before my appointment, so they said it would be ok if I sat in the waiting room until I finished it after my appointment. So from the time I got in line till I left the building it was 2 hrs. That’s ridiculous app and makes me not want to go back.

She took the time to answer my questions. She also asked pointed questions herself which showed her knowledge. She also provided education on other ongoing issues. I felt confident in that she would identify any concerns.

I have always had a positive experience here. Usually, short wait times and once in the room the doctor comes in right away. Dr. Westerband is always friendly and patient. She truly listens to my questions and concerns. I went with her for my first pregnancy and will continue to go back with her.

Dr Laird is wonderful to talk to, genuinely listens, and I have recommended her to my entire family for care.

Dr. Fewell is an incredible physician, she has a wonderful bedside manner, walked me through my hysterectomy to where I felt very reassured. The surgery went fantastic, 5 days later I returned to work. Unfortunately my ovaries decided I should return to Genesis much sooner then anticipated. My left ovary twisted to the point of cutting off the blood supply. I ended up in the emergency room with incredible pain, and at about 5am, Dr. Stevens removed the ovary, quite literally saving my life. I love this office and the amazing people that work here!

I made an appointment with Genesis Ob/Gyn Northwest which was relatively simple and appreciated, but they could not get me in for six and a half weeks. I let them know that would be alright, as I was looking to build a relationship with a new doctor and had no pressing matter. After waiting the six plus weeks, they texted me through an automated system two days before my appointment, telling me that my appointment had been cancelled and never called me to give me any details or apologize for the inconvenience. I had to call them to ask why, and when I could reschedule. They said the doctor was ‘on call’ and could no longer see me and that my next opportunity to make an appointment would be in January, three months after my original appointment was scheduled for. Their lack of communication and empathy at all was incredibly off putting. I genuinely felt hurt and thrown to the wayside. Going to the doctor can be an anxiety provoking, and stressful experience and this kind of treatment makes it so much worse. I am in the fortunate position of being healthy, and able to take off work when I need to. Many people are not so lucky. I can’t imagine if this kind of care was given to someone else. Not only did they tell me this through text, but they offered no explanation or help to make a new appointment. Incredibly cold and disappointing customer service. I will be letting other women in my community know of this service and recommending them elsewhere. Happy to chat about my experience further.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Anna Nelson and found her to be warm and professional. After being with the same gyno for 20 years, I was a tad nervous; but Dr. Nelson made me feel very comfortable and answered all questions I had, plus gave me additional information.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Westerband for almost 10 years now. I have always been pleased with her service. She listens and always asks if I have any questions. She also makes me feel at ease during nerve wracking times.

I did my initial appointment with Dr. Katherine Gillaspy, and the office team. I was impressed with the efficiency of everyone I encountered and worked with, and Dr. Gillaspy is a genuine professional; extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. Additionally, I was thrilled to be informed that I would also be able to do my annual mammogram there, immediately after the appointment-a huge perk, eliminating the need to make a separate appointment at a separate location. That alone is reason enough to keep this office as my home base for gynecological needs! Excellent referral from my D.O.

Dr. Laird is amazing! Not only did she save my babies life 10 years ago, but she helped me make the hard decision to opt for a partial hysterectomy. Her and I had exhausted every other option for over 8 years, and finally we decided as a team to go ahead with surgery. She was wonderful, the surgery went fabulous, and my recovery was quick. Dr. Laird is compassionate and thorough. All the negative complaints seem to be coming from people who forgot what it was like to have a baby. I had preterm labor 4 times, and sometimes Doc got called away from appointments to help me/ talk to hospital staff. Patients is a virtue not many have anymore. I’m thankful she was so experienced in both instances I needed her. I have waited many of day 30/ 40 min past my appointment, I’ve had to reschedule, and I know she is worth all of it. She is always kind. My family personally loves and owes her a lot. She is a blessing to us.

Thank you Dr. Laird! Ever since I was old enough to understand the concept, Ive been wanting a salpingectomy so I couldnt have kids. Ive never wanted kids, so this has been a dream of mine. Ive been told over and over that no one would do it because of my age; it left me heartbroken. My GP referred me to Dr. Laird, saying she probably wont do it, but I went anyway because I had nothing to lose. I was expecting to be told I couldnt get the surgery done because Im too young and never had any kids. To my amazement, Dr. Laird actually listened to what I knew I really wanted! Its 2 days after surgery and Ive never been happier. Thank you for listening to me Dr. Laird. Where others gave me the same old speech of, youre too young, youll change your mind, etc. for 20+ years; you listened. If theres any other women in their 20s who know for certain theyll never want kids; like me, Ill refer them to Dr. Laird.

I can’t heap enough praise on Dr. Chen. I’m so grateful I stumbled across him.Without getting into details, I had a TERRIBLE experience with another local gynecologist and was looking to find someone who cared about their patients.From the first appointment with Dr. Chen, he listened attentively, answered all my questions before I even asked them and was incredibly thorough. He immediately came up with a game plan for figuring out what was going on with me. He caught a diagnosis the previous office missed that was making my life miserable. They have their own ultrasound facility where the results are read by actual gynecologist who know what to look for. He is incredibly kind and reassuring and it feels like such a relief to finally be in good hands.I’m not going to lie, it’s a busy office. I’ve had some longer wait times even though I’m always early, but after what I went through with the last doctor I was seeing, I don’t even care. He’s a great doctor so I’d wait all day if I had to. I think the office being busy is more a commentary on the shortage of good OB/GYN offices around, and isn’t their fault. The staff seems competent and on the ball.One hysterectomy later and I feel like a new girl! He did a phenomenal job and I couldn’t be happier. I very highly recommend Dr. Chen and his office.

I am fairly new to the office and have been seeing Dr. Westerband, she is very thorough and knowledgeable. She gives her expertise and advice, but also encourages being self educated on things. As patients we trust our doctors with the full extent that they are giving us the best care, but there are so many treatment options and side effects to everything, that you need to do your research. I am very comfortable bring my concerns to her, and she is patient enough to sit down and have a full discussion about it, to ensure I am making the right decision. I am very happy and comfortable with her as my doctor. I hope she doesnt plan on retiring soon.

Dr. Westerband has been my GYN for about 15 years. She is kind, professional, and has a friendly, warm, no-nonsense persona that makes me feel very comfortable discussing intimate medical issues with her. I wish more doctors were like her!

Ive been seeing Dr. Nelson for just shy of a decade. Shes always very caring and patient with me. The nurses are all great as well. Ive also seen Dr. Eisenberg and Dr. Walker and had positive experiences with both. Dr. Walker preformed an emergency c section on me and helped bring my twins into the world safely. Im very grateful for the level of care weve always gotten from them.

Absolutely love Dr. Westerband. She is straight forward and took great care of me throughout my last pregnancy. I needed a c-section and she not only eased my fears of needing one, the actual procedure was quick and easy. I also absolutely love her nurse, Stephanie!

Organization is involved in double dipping. They will try to keep billing you for services you already paid , not once, but twice, and again three times. Fraudulent organization and are nothing but crooks. I highly recommend using alternatives in Tucson as this organization is engaged in fraud and deception towards their patients. Also, Dr. Laird is comedy. Has you wait a significant amount of time before entering the room. Also, doesn’t listen to your concerns or obgyn matters. Recommended estrogen for me ! I’m on anti estrogen hormonal therapy medications, WTF will I take a estrogen creams for ? Review the charts and records lady. Place is a joke. Refrain from at all costs. Their billing has become harassment , especially when you have checks and receipts showing and proving you’ve already Paid!!!!

Really surprised to see negative comments about Dr. Laird. She was one of the best doctors I have ever had. We went through all options in detail prior to the recent hysterectomy that she performed and my husband I cannot say enough about how professional and caring she was before during and after my surgery! The office runs smoothly except for one thing...staff should really be more professional in the front office and the nurses station back by the examination rooms and not discussing all of their personal business. Will continue to recommend Dr. Laird for years to come.

I havent even had an appointment yet and I will stop trying to get one. I have left a couple of messages with no return call. when I spoke to a med assistant about a certain procedure she was very uninformed about what the office actually offers. That 1st impression is not a good one. Ill find another doctor.

I have seen Dr. Laird since moving to Tucson in 2017. I referred my daughter to her but after waiting to see the doctor for almost an hour and watching other patients who came in after my daughter’s arrival and be called back, I will stop referring Dr. Laird in the future. My daughter was frustrated by the wait time and when requesting a reschedule for the possibility of having to wait longer, the front office employee says “oh, you have to go?” Really? Have to go? She waited for almost an hour, was never checked on and was never offered an apology. I told my daughter to schedule to see another doctor where she won’t waste her time watching other patients get treatment.

This place is a joke and unprofessional. With my wifes first pregnancy we thought Dr. Schneider was okay.. but towards the end of her pregnancy she started cancelling appointments when my wife was supposed to be seen weekly. We ended up missing appointments or seeing random nurses who didnt have the answers to our questions. We ended up having to stay 3 extra days in the hospital once the baby was born because they were negligent about my wife being positive with strep B.We returned to Dr. Schneider with this pregnancy because we didnt know better, but this has been eye opening. My wifes been extremely sick this entire pregnancy, so sick she couldnt keep water down the first 2.5 trimesters. Dr. Schneider has not been empathetic. She instead tells my wife that she needs to just make herself drink water, tells her at every appointment she doesnt look dehydrated, and even refused to send us to the womens center to get an IV.My wife is now 37 weeks pregnant. We had an appointment today that Dr. Schneider cancelled less than an hour before hand. We were supposed to find out if my wife tested positive for strep B today so we could be prepared if she goes into labor. Instead we are stuck waiting 3 more days. When we returned their call cancelling todays appointment we expected a back up plan. Let us come see a different doctor or nurse, we were even willing to come in at a later time. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful. Did not care that we were cancelled on and even proceeded to get rude over the phone when we asked to be seen sooner than Thursday by any Doctor or nurse at the facility.When a patient cancels less than 24 hrs out they are charged a fee, but doctors can cancel less than an hour out there is no plan of action to help the patients waiting to be seen? This makes no sense. I do not recommend coming here.

I was scared to go to the office for the first time, especially after staying up the night before to read reviews - I shouldn’t be worried. The receptionist, nurse and doctor that saw me were all so friendly and kind. I had questions and was slightly apologetic about asking them and was constantly being reassured that asking was the right thing to do. I felt cared for and listened to, and was treated with respect. Dr. Westerband didn’t make me feel rushed and even when I had to wait I didn’t feel forgotten. When I told her about a mental illness I had that made these services difficult for me, she confided in me and gave me another source to help with that too. Truly exceptional person.

My wife and I love this place. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcomes us in as soon as they see us walk through the door and we are in a room within a few minutes. Dr. Schneider is very friendly and always coming in with a smile on her face. She takes the time to answer our questions and concerns and weve never felt like we were being rushed out the door. Very highly recommended! Also, our 3 year old son always goes on the baby appointments with us as he enjoys listening to his brothers heart and everyone at the office is just as friendly to him as they are to us. They really do make us feel welcome from the moment we walk in until we walk out.

Please, for the love of all, hire a couple more ladies to work the triage line. I was third in line and was on hold for an hour before I could talk to someone. That is completely unsatisfactory. I will add more to my review after my upcoming appointment. UPDATE: Dr. Stevens treated me wonderfully during my last exam which is why Im adding a star. Everyone else in this office is very hit or miss. There are good reasons the reviews are so back and forth. Most of the girls at the front desk would rather gossip than do their jobs. Every time I come in they are talking trash about someone. Then they tried to charge me twice because someone forgot to put it into the system that I paid last time. Good thing I kept my printout. Get it together ladies.

This office is run very poorly and you will be treated like a number. It took 2 weeks for me to get copies of my medical records after repeated phone calls and inquiries. The office is also oddly not child or spouse friendly. Questions my husband directly asked the doctor were ignored and there was no where for him to sit in the examination room. I was told my child was dirty even though I got on my hands and knees to clean the floor to make it a cleaner place for him. Overall a horrible experience. As having a child should be a supported and uplifting experience, I will be moving on to a more caring office.

This is my first baby and Ive been seeing Dr. Nelson for this pregnancy. Shes super nice, kinda quick in the room but will answer your questions if you ask them. I adore the lab techs at this location. Stephanie is always kind and so is the younger girl (I forget her name but shes hysterical!) The only thing I would change is the nurse who works with Dr. Nelson. I can never catch her name bit shes a little short with me everytime I go in. Not nasty, just rushed I guess? Overall Ive had a great experience this far and am comfortable with the whole team in general.

I have been going to Genesis for 16 years over 3 different pregnancies. I have seen multiple Doctors and have had good experiences with everyone of them.

The office is big but beautiful! I see Dr. Fewell and she is absolutley wonderful! Caring, compassionate and her bed side manner is top notch. I have seen Dr. Fewell for several years an feel 100% confident in her! After I had my surgery with her, I wasnt even sure I had surgery because I felt so good! Dr. Fewells assistant Mary is just as amazing & caring as she is, always has a smile and full of knowledge as well. I highly reccomended this team to anyone young or old!

While helping someone with their AHCCCS benefits, I learned that this organization refused to bill AHCCCS or their health insurance company making them pay cash for a service which would have been covered stating, UHC is just going to deny the claim anyway so theres no need to bill them. Additionally, they refused an HCG test then told them they had to do an ultrasound later telling them the ultrasound was optional so they must pay $380 for said ultrasound. When they paid $400 cash, they asked for their change and the receptionist said, Oh you wanted change? Who treats patients like this? After all of the stress, the wife miscarried and the organization wants her to come back for more HCG testing...Seriously?

I started seeing Dr. Westerband in 2008 when I moved to Tucson. She came as a recommendation from a women in the tampon aisle while we were commiserating about periods. I hope my tampon-angel knows that she changed my life! Dr. W. treats me like an adult, who understands her own body, and can articulate her own needs. Ive received treatment recommendations, been given time to research, and get second opinions all without judgement or the my medical opinion is Gods word attitude. The office staff is in a good state right now--and has been for the last year--there were a few cranky folks over the years, but they dont last. Go get your needs met--from avoiding infections and babies, to getting pregnant, or evicting your uterus, Dr. Westerband is top notch.

I felt compelled to share my experiences after reading many of the negative Google reviews. Ive been a patient at Genesis Northwest (formerly Genesis La Dea Womens Health) for 5 years now for preventive health care services. Ive always found the front desk staff to be professional, efficient, and polite. I have found the medical assistants and Nurse Practitioner Robin Giles to be warm and caring. I have not had appointments with any of the doctors, so I cant speak to them, only NP Giles and NP Diane Goedecke. I never feel rushed when I am here; everyone takes the time to chat with you, ask how you are doing, answer your questions, and make sure that you are comfortable during the exam. When Ive called to request a change to my prescription, it was handled the same day. I really feel valued and respected as a person and a patient. Im also very happy to say that I have never had any billing issues with this office. When I am responsible for a copay or coinsurance, I have received a statement in the mail within 30 days. Overall, Im extremely happy with my experience here. I will update this review if that ever changes.

Had an appointment today @0900 and I showed up at 0850. I filled out the paperwork and when I turned it in they sent me away stating I should have been there 30minutes early sense I was a new patient. This was very upsetting sense I arrived on time to my appointment and they didnt tell me this before I started doing their paperwork. Wasted my time and now I have to wait how ever long to find another place for another appointment. Not patient friendly what so ever. Would not recommend. Just turn people away for any reason, its ridiculous. I was there and there was no reason I should have been sent away.

Had an annual with Dr. Nelson as a new patient and she was very compassionate and knowledgeable, as well as her assistant (Im sorry I forget her name!). I received my test results immediately, and Gina went above and beyond to help get me in for a follow-up appointment. Would highly recommend.

Personally, I think Dr. Laird is wonderful. She spends as much time as you need, and addressed and corrected my problems. Shes one of the best GYN docs I have ever seen.

My wife has Dr. Westerband for her OB and every experience we had was great. The staff is friendly and helpful with setting our appointments. Dr. Westerband just delivered our second girl! Thank you all for your help

Went through an early miscarriage just recently. I’ve had one back in 2018. Two totally different experiences. First time had a doctor appointment found out there wasn’t a heartbeat. Went in for a D&C with FEWELL…after the D&C procedure a day later then started passing everything on my own at home as if they never even actually did the procedure and just took my money. The amount of pain i was in going through this was awful! I couldn’t stand straight and felt as if i went through labor. This time i had a miscarriage at home by myself no procedure. Knowing what I went through in 2018 and now with a miscarriage, there was no way I should have gone through what I did after a D&C vs not having one. Also, this time around I called doctors… all I was told to do was to come in for labs. It happened on a Friday. All I did was go in and had 2 tubes of blood taken and sent me off and said I’ll have results by Monday. Monday……Tuesday…….Wednesday finally, after I’ve called, lefts patient portal messages and voice messages to triage, and to the office, finally return my call letting me know that they “left me a message” which never had a voicemail message, then told me that the record showed negative but still wanted more blood work.. what’s the point!? I then said i have questions now as far as when we can start trying again and such. No answers just a “we will get back to you”. “ Ill leave a message for the doctor.” Once again, no calls about my questions.. no answers. Left neglected, left alone, left unsure… no wonder why people just start googling things because you get more answers that way then from your own doctors who should be there for you! Oh! And a message FINALLY came through on the portal just stating that MY doctor Amy Schneider is no longer going to be working at the office starting 9/30……I’m assuming this message was sent to all her patients…..but again not a message regarding anything I had sent. I would not recommend them unless you want to be pushed aside, or if you want your messages to “fall through a bucket”………..while going though a miscarriage…. Go ahead… give them a shot. They won’t see you… they won’t care for you….good luck.

Unfortunately Dr. Durfee stopped seeing patients and I had to choose another provider. I carefully reviewed all the doctors that work at the northwest clinic and chose Dr. Schneider. It took me two months to get an appointment with her. Today was my appointment and the wait was almost an hour long ( I wasnt bothered by the wait, I understand providers run late occasionally). It was obvious Dr. Schneider was running late because she rushed through my appointment. I think she spent 5 to 7 min total with me. I had my two year old with me and she is pretry well behaved. Somehow she hit her head with the table and started crying. This happened while Dr. Schneider was doing a breast examination. I tried to attend to my daughter, which was in pain, and the doctor didnt allow me. She told me I could when she completed the examination. She didnt show any sympathy for my crying baby neither for my needs.After she was done I told her we have been trying to get pregnant for about 4 months and I was hoping she would give me tips on how to achieve the goal soon, but instead she told me not to worry because it could take up to a year. She said at 31 it is normal that it takes that long. Well, makes me wonder if she even read my chart, Im 37, not 31! I clarified that and told her that my significant other was having some tests done etc. Didnt even get a chance to explain anything, doctor instead of listening to me told me she was providing me with information to the infertility clinic. She left the room and I thought she was coming back with the information, but she never did . She sent her med assistant instead.Our conversation probably lasted 2 min. I waited 2 months to see this lady to discuss several things with her and she failed to listen to me. If she didnt show any sympathy for my daughter and wasnt attentive to my needs, what makes think she will care about my future pregnancy? First impressions sure count a lot. I might try a new doctor in this clinic, but Im definitely not going back to Dr. Schneider.

First of all, Martha Laird is amazing and I really wish I didnt have such bad experience or else I would follow her everywhere. Birth control is extremely hit or miss for me and over the last few months I was on a pill that gave me major head aches. I talked to them through the patient portal, they sent out a new pill prescription, told me to try it and to give them a call if there is an issue. THREE months later I have been bleeding since day 1 of taking the pill. Have you ever bled for 3 months straight? I called the office and left a message for the assistant of Dr Laird and was told it would take 48 to 72 hours to hear back. Fine, bled for 3 months whats another couple days. A week later I still hadnt heard back. Called again. Voice mail. No call back. I felt like I was going crazy so I finally called it quits and found myself a new OBGYN. Will NEVER recommend this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Westerband for 12 years. She delivered my 1st born. Dr. Westerband has always been kind and caring. She takes time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions and she always asks about my family. I highly recommend Dr. Westerband.

I saw Dr. Westerbend and had a great experience. Id been trying to have an IUD removed that had wandered off. Id had a sonogram to find it in the past, was told I would need a surgical procedure that would require anesthesia to get it out. Dr. Westerbend got it out in two minutes in a regular office visit with minimal discomfort and removed a polyp as well.She may not have much of a bedside manner, but shes perfectly nice as well as being extremely skilled.

The worst experience, they gave me a call 2 days before my appointment that they will not he in the office and we need to reschedule. I already planned my day, took off work just yesterday to see the dr. They would not work with me to get an appointment that would fit in my schedule. I told them I would need something in the afternoon and fridays preferably and she said we dont have anything available Im sorry. She would not even check.Never coming back there and would not recommend to anyone that would like to have a positive experience. The worst ever.

Ive been going here 8 years. My physician and staff are amazing. Ive have the experience of two beautiful births and I wouldnt wanna go anywhere else.

Dr Laird is so rude. In the 3 minutes I spent with her she told me at least 5 times that she had somewhere to be. She kept looking at her watch, literally had one foot out the door while I asked my questions... while she held the door wide open. She gave me all of maybe 3 minutes of her time before telling me AGAIN that she had to be somewhere and to reschedule. My first appointment with her will definitely be my last.

De. Westerband is lovely and her nurse stephanie! They have been taking care of me for the last 7 years since my very first pregnancy! Got my IUD taken out today in a very quick and easy office visit!Their front office staff is friendly. Things could be tightened up as far as timelines but no major issues.

Wow, where do I even begin? First of the communication here is GOD AWFUL. I went through them to schedule a wellness check (and I went here because my friend went to Dr. Nelson-Moseke when she had her baby and loved her). Unfortunately, I had to reschedule it because it fell on my time of the month, so when I went to reschedule it, I had to see the nurse practitioner (which was fine with me at the time). I went in for the pap smear, and decided it was a good time to talk to her about some of my concerns too, to see if I can at least start to get them addressed. First of all, I was in pain for 4 hours after my pap smear (ive NEVER had that happen, but I thought whatever, maybe things changed with my reproductive system). Then when i brought up my issues about how bad my menstrual cramps have gotten, she didnt even give it the time of day. I was told it was normal and nothing can be done. THEN I had to wait THREE weeks for my results. I called and emailed multiple times, and FINALLY 3 weeks later someone in that office gave me my results. There was something I needed to get antibiotics for, and in my eyes, thats something that I should know right away - not something that should be put off. Then it took another week just to get them to call in my script. Now ive been seeing more issues and had some questions, but ive called and emailed MULTIPLE times with no response, and it has now been a week. Its been a very stressful and annoying process, but needless to say, I absolutely will not be going back to this office. I cant speak for Dr. Nelson-Moseke herself, she may be great, but I never got to talk to her so I couldnt tell you. Im not one to leave bad reviews, unless ive had an extremely bad experience, but save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

If I could give the northwest location 0 stars I would. Every time my two daughters go it’s a 1-2hour wait after their scheduled appointments. Doctor Laird is amazing but the rest of the staff I could do without. They always give my daughters a hassle when checking in and don’t want to take my card to pay off their balances even though it clearly states they’re on my policy so they’re authorized to use it. One time during their visit my my youngest stepped out to use the restroom and when she came back my eldest was getting her physical so she quietly waited to go back in outside the door and they kicked her out to the waiting room. While I might add there were other people in the hallway waiting as well. I normally just let things go by putting it to maybe they’re just having a bad day but the pattern continues. I will be actively looking for another place to go.

Dr. Westerband has been my doctor for more than 15 years. She has been incredibly kind and caring. I have never felt rushed and I have always well cared for in her practice.I had recommended Dr. Westerband to many friend and even to my daughters. I am very happy that they chose her as their OB/Gyn practitioner and that they are in good hands.

I dont understand the negative reviews at all, I love genesis OB/GYN! I saw them when I was pregnant with my first child, and was seeing them now that Im pregnant with my second. I completely and totally recommend Dr. Amy Schneider (I hope I spelled her last name correctly) and Dr. Robin. Theyre both very caring and sweet and answer all the questions that Ive asked them. I unfortunately had to stop seeing them because I moved to another state, but I would see them again in a heart beat. Also, all of the nurses and secretaries are very very kind!!! I have never felt judged (Im a young mom) or uncomfortable while seeing either of these doctors. I completely and totally recommend both of them.

This Genesis OB/GYN Office is great- thorough, organized, and professional. I personally prefer seeing Ana Vogler, FNP, as not only is she thorough, but she’s very personable and has a great bedside manner.

This was easily the worst experience I’ve had with a “medical professional”. I came in for an annual exam with NP Erin Grigg. I had never been for an exam before and was extremely nervous. After being called back by the assistant I was instructed to sit in my paper gown until the NP came in (roughly 30 minutes later). By this point my anxiety was terrible and I told the NP this, she dismissed me casually saying it had been “an afternoon of people with phobias”. I should have gotten up and left then. Things were going well, until my actual exam which was some of the worst pain I’ve felt in my life. Having not been for an annual before I didn’t really comprehend what was going on. The NP didn’t really seem to care I was screaming so loud the people in the next room could hear me, finished her procedure and coldly left the room. When I questioned her about the pain following her return she made some flippant remark on how she could have done it differently but she didn’t “oh well”. Thanks lady. I’m still in pain today, feel completely violated, traumatized, and will be super hesitant to return to any gyno office after this experience.I’m sorry but if a medical professional can’t understand that this practice is one you need bedside manner and understanding for then maybe they need a different career, I hear McDonalds is switching to cold robotic customer service, this lady would fit right in.

I’ve been seeing dr. Westerband for almost 4 years now. She is absolutely great! She is always super friendly and answers any questions that I have. She was my doctor throughout my entire pregnancy and still remains as my preferred ob. Awhile after I delivered my son, I started to have really painful heavy periods. Doctor westerband listened to all of my concerns and helped me with a solution. She helped me pick out a birth control that would help regulate my periods which also helped tremendously with the pain. 10-10 I definitely recommend Westerband to anyone looking for a new obgyn.

I was not impressed. I use to go to Dr. Warner’s old office and this new one was not an improvement. The waiting area was impersonal and loud. I had a 10:30 appointment but was not seen until 11:40. I was unable to get an appointment with not Dr. Warner I saw Ana Vogler. The exam room was disgusting. The step up to the bed was smeared with blood and there looked to be blood or bodily fluids of some kind on the step! I will not be returning. Just no.

Horrible. I loved this place before it became the big business of Genesis. The staff is rude and there is long wait times. I will not go back.

Love this facility. The staff is so awesome and nice. Im glad I cane here. I know that me and my baby are in good hands.

If I could give no stars, that would be awesome. I went to this place back when it was La Dea to see Dr. Landherr and was passed off to her husband right away (Dr. Tassone). Since this was my first pregnancy that went past 8 weeks, I wanted a female. I was able to see her, but many times she would send Tassone in. He made me super uncomfortable and when he would do exams, his touch felt, off. The part that made me run screaming was when he did my Group B Strep test and didn’t bother to glove up. My birth was scheduled for a few weeks out from that, but I walked myself into TMC at 40+5 and had them deliver me.Go somewhere else. These people are horrid.

I went to see Dr. Laird a few weeks ago at the Oro Valley location. I was having problems so I was desperate to get in and was able to take over a cancelled appointment rather than waiting a month to get in with my regular doctor. The office staff was great however Dr. Laird was not. I feel like she either needs to retire or learn how to be more personable or compassionate. I felt like the whole visit was just a normal routine and didnt feel like she truly listened to my specific issue. After taking the time to rearrange my work schedule, paying co-pays and deductibles, I am left with the same issue I went in for. All I got from her was to schedule another appointment if I continue to have problems. No instructions as to what to do next or what medications I can take. Nothing! I was honestly better off waiting for my appointment with Dr. Gallapsy rather than wasting my time and money! Even though I loved the office staff and live across the street from that location, I will not be returning nor referring anyone to her. Many women go to women gynocologist because we feel more comfortable or feel as if they can relate more but sadly thats not the case with her.

Upon arrival the front desk staff were very welcoming. However, I waited 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time until I was taken back and seen by Dr. Westerband who spent all of 5 minutes with me, I came in to discuss birth control options. I had narrowed it down to two but still had questions about them, her response to me regarding these questions was to “google” them. After deciding that I would stay with my current treatment option, I find out that the Doctor had changed my birth control to something I’ve never used nor heard of. I suppose she didnt think I needed to be informed? It was only caught because my insurance wouldn’t cover the brand she was pushing but was allowing the generic version. I had recontact the office, which is a bit of a challenge with all of the automated screening questions. Only to speak with an MA who acted as if I was a huge inconvenience.I have never been so appalled by the negligence and lack of compassion by medical personnel before.Save yourself the time and frustration and go literally anywhere else!

I made the mistake of going here because they were close to home.Got there at 10 am & left at 1 30 pm,without even getting done what i was there.Got nearly butchered for taking an iud out.Amazing that they call themselves obgyns & are more nervous performing than the patient.Westerband did not allow my husband to stand while she would take out an iud (that she claimed would take less than a minute).Totally rude that seeing i was nervous,she said ‘that’s her style that she does not like a third person watching her’.I went by it because I just wanted to get the iud removed.She kept dialating me without any numbness.My husband was the one who asked them if i would get something & they gave me ibuprofen a few minutes before.When she realized,I was in severe pain,she just took out everything & said I need anaesthesia & would inform my husband.And she left with me still on the chair full of blood now.I wiped myself & went out totally traumatic.Took me a while to even process what happened.The staff said the anesthesia only happens once a month & my turn would come in June ir July !!Never returning back here.I wouldn’t trust delivering a baby here with a doctor who cant deliver an iud.
