My daughter has been seeing the orthodontist here for over 2 years. Today she was scheduled for a follow that was scheduled weeks ago. I called to confirm the time and I was told she doesn’t have an appointment and that this office no longer does orthodontist. I have the appointment card showing my daughter did have an appointment and why wasn’t I called when they decided to stop having an orthodontist?? Real nice. My daughter is actually having issues and jaw pain. Now I have to find a new orthodontist while my daughter waits in pain. Thanks for your horrible service and trying to make me look like a liar about her appointment.

I’d give them less stars if I could! I had the worst experience here. They tried to create an outstanding treatment plan for me when I only went in for a simple procedure. Then, they refused to do the procedure because I didn’t agree to all their other extras! They could have at least done what I went in for. Completely disappointing! I would never go back, nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Beware!

I never leave reviews, but feel I should leave a warning to others. I went in for a routine check up and cleaning. While the office staff was courteous enough, the dentist and “sales staff” were horrible. The dentist (Dr. Morris) came up with a ridiculous treatment plan (multiple crowns, deep cleanings for gum issues, etc…) which I was fairly surprised at since I’ve had 2 cavities my whole life. After he discussed “everything wrong with me” he sent in a sales manager (?!) to discuss pricing. The pricing was exorbitant and I knew the whole thing was fishy. I ended up walking out (without a cleaning) and seeing another dentist. The other dentist office I visited confirmed I do not have all the issues Tortolita Dental claimed I had and gave me a cleaning and simply fixed an old filling.I’m so disgusted by the practices of this office.

I do not recommend this dental office at all! They were not helpful and made me wait for a very lengthy amount of time while they were doing who knows what. I will not be returning and have since found a much better dental office where I am treated much better.

Scheduled a new patient appointment online and submitted all documentation requested. I received confirmation of my appointment by email the day of the appointment. When I arrived to the appointment 10 minutes early from the scheduled time I was told that it would be a very short appointment and they could not do a cleaning because it was Friday afternoon.Won’t be back here or any other dental practices in this group.

Cathryn is an amazing hygienist and the whole team is fantastic. My dentist anxiety gets better with every visit and I am so happy I switched to their office!

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU EXPECT TO BE TREATED LIKE A PERSON. The staff consistently lies to cancel and change appointments as they see fit they will not contact your emergency contact because the head nurse said its against HIPAA just lies of excuses to fit whatever the day brings I have given so many chances with this staff. I am done so done. Im telling you, you will regret coming here

Yesterday was my first visit .. I have to say what a wonderful experience it was. Im terrified of the dentist , these ladies were wonderful . From the front receptionist to my hygienist Cathryn she was AMAZiNG best cleaning i ever had. The Dr was 5 stars and more. Nicole thath helped me with my finances AMAZiNG also.. I am thrilled with my new bridge. Dr.Morris is awesome and I highly recommend him. He was able to do a bridge when I was told it would never be possible and it just turned out beautiful. The staff is wonderful and takes excellent care of you.

Do not go to this dentist unless you want to be treated as a dollar sign and not a person. Dr. Jordan Morris is a wolf is sheeps clothing. He is nice and seems to want to help, but he exploits you for money in the end. I have been a patient for a year and had enough and found a new dentist. Morris is after one thing only MONEY! He will charge your insurance and yourself the maximum. He and his staff will guilt you into expensive unnecessary procedures. He was trying to get me to get another crown down and I was guilted into getting laser treatment for gum disease ( which had no effect on my gum health after the treatment). I went to another dentist and I didnt have gum disease nor did I need the crown. If you have a high crown or Dr. Morris work leads to issues you will be paying for the dental exams and x-rays to try to alleviate the problem. He fixes his mistakes but it will cost you. It took him three times to adjust a crown he installed. He charge my insurance company for the x-rays and exam to fix this and didnt event tell me! He is a gold digger and cant be trusted.

Wonderful group! I called at 8am Friday and was accommodated with an 11am apt., I had broken a front tooth crown, now in need of complete replacement. I arrived 10:45a for my 11a (last minute) appointment, was greeted at my vehicle for a temperature check-in - was quickly processed and led in for X-ray and in the chair for the Dr, who arrived promptly at 11a. The broken/damaged tooth/area was assessed and a plan was discussed, a price was compiled and a non-insurance plan payment option, since I do not have insurance. The Insurance Plan Option was a very large discount (like 35-40%) from the total cost, and the work was completed in a few hours, and, I will say this with great joy;it was the best Dental Visit for this type of crown replacement I have ever had in Tucson!One Visit and Done and Done! no more repeated visits to fit the new crown!Thanks All!I look forward to my follow up and future dental care.

Dr. Jordan Morris was such a big help today. I was so relieved to see them open because of the pain I was experiencing since last night. Socorro, Destiny and Dr Morris are the kindest folks and took very good care of me. Got the crown fixed and look forward to the bridge where Ive had a gap for years. Janette, the hygienist who does my cleanings is super patient and fun and very very good at her job. For the first time in my adult life I feel motivated to do better at making my teeth and gums better and itss showing. Thank you to the entire staff and Dr Jordan Morris, a wonderful dentist and person.

Had pleasant interactions with the staff, and an overall good experience on my visit.After my wife had gone in after me and shared her experience, I had to update my review.First, the office is nice, conveniently located, and modernized (iPad signatures, etc.). And the people there were pretty friendly throughout my visit.However, there was something about the office reminiscent of a used car dealer in the way they advertised periodontal disease so heavily, and encouraged treatment at every step (before you even knew you had it). After getting inspected, it turns out I have signs of periodontal disease, so I was faced with treatment options. I am pretty agreeable, and figured well, I only have one mouth, so I went forward with the treatment on the spot thinking my teeth might fall out soon if I dont.After my wife experienced the same thing, but then denied getting the treatment, she was told she would be unable to get a regular cleaning (covered by insurance, mind you) because she had the beginning stages of periodontal disease. She had to argue with the doctor until they finally agreed to do the cleaning and upgrade her for free, when she said she would just go elsewhere. Hmm... That doesnt sound like a medical practice to me.Im very put-off by the sale-like tactics of the doctor towards my wife, and had I have disagreed, or had doubts, Im sure I would have faced a similar experience. While I wanted to love the office, I may look into alternatives for my next treatment, and I know my wife is already doing the same.Should I be wrong in the severity of potential periodontal problems left untreated (per recommendations), while still taking preventative measures (brushing, waterpik, etc.), then I will update my review with my findings. Unfortunately though, it appears the medical professionals hold all the cards with this one. So use your discretion here or elsewhere when faced with a similar dilemma.

Terrible practice. Do not get there early for your appointment cause the doctor will not be in.I had an appointment for new patient at 8am i believe i was originally schedule a bit later but they changed it to earlier. I get there at 730 to fill out new patient info. Which i had to ask for the forms since she didnt just hand them to me cause she said the doctor wont be in for an hour.. anyways i filled out the paper work and they wouldnt even take my back for xrays or cleaning until the doctor was in which i was not sure why . Then they didnt even clean my teeth until hours later cause i needed a crown and the doctor doesnt check the work of his techs like most do. Which i was getting a crown and he didnt double check to make sure the tooth that needed a crown was clean even when i asked him he had full faith in his tech.. honestly my face was numb i was hungry been there 5 hours i wanted to make sure it was clean since i was paying 1000 dollars for this procedure and i did not get the clarification. The doctor was rude as well. This place is a perfect scam artist Extremely money hungry. They put other patients before you. Front desk ladies are extremely rude as well. They do not know how to file your insurance either. All i am saying is get a second opinion / do not even come to this practice.Also my crown didnt fit because they did adjustments to my other tooth or the opposite side that had a filling since i had a strange bite. The doctor did the adjustments while my other tooth was grinded down waiting for a crown. Once they put the crown on that bite was all messed up as well making him grind my crown down alot as well. The doctor made a comment “it probably doesnt fit right since we made adjustments to the other side” what an idiot why did he make these adjustments before the crown was in- you would think he would think about that since that is his job. But the guy is clueless.Honestly do not recommend this practice.

This dental office is prone to questionable practices. People of certain age may be told that they have periodontal disease. Or that they need crowns or other pricey treatments, right now. Over treatment seems to be a theme, with panoramic x-rays every six months and insistence on frequent deep cleanings. There is an electronic signature pad conveniently placed next to the dental chair, so that you, the patient, may be forced to consent to a more expensive treatment while you are sitting in the chair. You might receive an estimate or a statement. Dont be surprised when it does not match the statement from your dental insurance. And forget about the $37 cleaning; you will sign deep cleaning agreement while you sit in the dental chair.I tried to like this office; they offer extended hours which, I thought, would be great. But after several instances of statements that didnt match what the insurance company sent, an impromptu account reconciliation charge, and repeated insistence on deep cleanings after I booked an appointment for a regular cleaning, I couldnt help but feel fleeced.

Great dental office to be a part of. Scheduling is easy and there is always availability. The front desk attendants are very friendly and make paperwork effortless. And the doctors are amazing when it comes to getting the job done. Their procedures here are smooth and clean... just like my teeth! They actually make me excited to go to the dentist again. 10 out of 10 dentist would highly recommend.(Sorry about some of the teeth puns)

I drive out of my way to come to this clinic. Cathryn has done a wonderful job with my dental care. She is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I usually come to appointments after 5pm due to my work schedule and she always greets me with a smile, even after a long day. Tortolita Dental Group is lucky to have her! They are great! I needed to have one root canal & two crowns. Everyone in the office was so nice & accommodating. They fit me in so it was convenient for me, and even stayed late to make sure I was taken care of. Dr Morris did a great job, and the rest of the staff was helpful and professional. Very friendly and did a (finally) decent job with my dentures (which took many, many adjustments) - BUT - the last time I went, dentist used a little bit of epinephrine - something I noted on my initial paperwork that I am very sensitive to! Caused 20-30 minutes of high heart rate which was scary and uncomfortable. I will NOT be going back!!!

Best dental experience! I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. They did not get annoyed or frustrated once while I asked the same questions over and over. They made me feel comfortable and relax. The entire staff was incredibly professional and understanding. They took the time to explain everything until I understood it all and to help me find ways to save money. I have very sensitive teeth and she was able to work on them without me having any discomfort. The place is very clean and the staff are very nice. My family has a new place to get the dental work all done. My wife, an Army dental assistant, is very strict about the things that work and dont in a dental clinic and she was all in after her visit. The dentist was an Army officer, super knowledgeable and personable, and the staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. Ive never had a bad experience there, and it doesnt feel like Im being driven like cattle into a dental factory. No more bad experiences for me at the dentists office.

This is the best dentist on earth I had a large amount of dental work that needed to be down and they helped me out and did it for me. These are truly real people who know what they are doing. So if you want a pretty smile or need to update it alittle go check them out.

I needed a new dentist for an emergency. The staff and dentist were awesome. Made me feel welcome and explained everything in detail. Took care of my problem without having to come back for a second appointment. I will definitely be back for my cleanings and future work!

My experience was wonderful. The front desk person Carmela is always a ray of sunshine, polite, and professional. I love that their technology is up to date. For example, I dont have to deal with paper forms at the front desk. Everything is signed electronically using an iPad. X-rays are digital too and less awful than older, sharp, square films. The dental assistant and hygienist gave me a nice thorough cleaning and had personable bedside manner. When the dentist came by, he took a few minutes to shake my hand and ask me about myself. He explained to me a few things about my teeth. I talked to him about some services I wanted done, and a few minutes later Carmela came to my chair to talk to me about my insurance coverage and out of pocket expense. I felt no pressure to purchase anything. I felt like she really wanted to make sure I was aware of what I was purchasing before I made the commitment. I cant wait to go back!

Had one of the best experiences at this dental office! They are very thorough, along with being up to date on the newest technologies. Cathryn was the hygienist that cleaned my teeth, she was super informative on the areas that I needed to focus more on.

My wife made an appointment for me to get x-rays and cleaning. When I first arrived I was given the first clue when the receptionist wanted to shake my hand upon checking in. I was given a full set of X-rays and exam based on the x-rays. The hygienist checked my teeth and said I needed a deep cleaning for gum infection. They had the Sales Man come to visit me in the chair and showed me it would be about $2,000 but because of my great insurance it was only going to be about $200. (I have Delta Dental which is consider the best dental insurance). It became very clear they had no intent on just giving me a basic cleaning (The reason for my visit in the first place) All they wanted to do is a deep cleaning so they could bill my insurance $$$$$$ and collect a few bucks off me. I asked them for my basic cleaning which my insurance paid for and they said, you need more so we will not give you just a basic cleaning. (I guess it does not pay enough.) Also I would like to mention that I keep asking the hygienist why I could not just get my basic cleaning and she said several times It is the law I advise you Figure this one out, I sure could not. Going back to the handshake upon arrival, this is a car sales man office. For them it is all about the $$$$. I do not have the time to write these reviews, but this was so bad I felt compelled to write it. This place is so bent towards $$$$. I am considering filing a complaint with the American Dental Association. By the way my wife went in 1 hour after me and got the EXACT same sales pitch.

Dr Morris is great! I felt no pain, got a cap in less than 3 hrs and they offer a great payment plan. I also like that they give back to the community by collecting for the food bank, when you donate they give you money towards dental services...its a win win for everyone!

I came to this office a little over a month or two ago as Im new to the Tucson area and this practice is close to me. I would not recommend this office to anyone as it is clear to me that they are more interested in their bottom line then what is in the best interest of their patients.One of the first red flags was the X-ray technician, who was adamant about me getting a full set of X-rays when I had already sent a full set of X-rays over from my previous dentist in Phoenix. I am nursing and was a little nervous to get the exposure. The technician was extremely pushy and proceeded to insist that I would need the X-rays. The dentist finally told her that I would only need the bitewings done and could proceed without the full set since the full set were new enough. I called my insurance to check in about my visit later and they told me that had I gotten the full set of X-rays I would have been fully financially responsible since my other X-rays were still good. Had I not been concerned about my exposure to the X-rays and not given push back I would have gotten a nasty bill and all because this lady was extremely pushy and had no regard to the fact that the ones I had were still good, not to mention that my insurance wouldnt cover it.I was also disappointed with the hygienist as she clearly exaggerated the status of my gums to ultimately recommend a deep cleaning. She and the dentist also pointed to my X-rays to show that there was bone loss. While I could see what they were referring to the issues seemed minimal. Long story short, they refused to give me a cleaning and gave me a billing estimate for a deep cleaning. Although my gums arent perfect their assessment didnt seem right. I was especially appalled that they wouldnt give me the cleaning. Its not like I couldnt look into getting a deep cleaning in the future. It was the deep cleaning, which would cost a lot out of pocket, or nothing. If they were that concerned about my gums I would think theyd want to help get my gums on the right track.I wound up getting a second opinion at another dentist office and my gut was right. Sure, my gums arent perfect and I was told ways I could improve my flossing routine, but the dentist and hygienist at the second office confirmed that I have a beautiful teeth and all I needed was a regular cleaning with monitoring. With regular dental cleanings every 6 months Id be on the right track and no, I didnt have periodontal diseases like Tortolita Dental Group would like me to believe.All in all, this practice is concerned about production and their bottom line. Avoid them. If you cant, be careful to not get recommended for services you dont really need.

Typical Greedy Business: Perhaps if you are wealthy and don’t ask the right questions you might pay for overpriced services and not even know it. The staff here is all trained to push as much services on you as possible. They have the tier pricing which is used to confuse and lure you into a financial obligation contract.First visit I personally spoke to the owner and mentioned I had a distrust with dental offices due to shady business ethics. He told me “we are not like that here”. So I then asked the owner to reduce the inlay price, because it is too expensive. He took of 15%, which I did appreciate. So to have my inlay done and only half my teeth clean took over 3.5 hours and a very expensive bill.On the second visit I was supposed to have my second half of my teeth cleaned and pay $72. First thing the front office lady did was try to get me to sign a financial agreement of $234, and I noted she covered the last bill with her hand so I wouldn’t notice that I still had to pay my balance of $282 from last visit. I told her it was wrong and should only be $72. She then tried to get me to sign a $107 financial agreement. I ask to speak to ask to the hygienist and asked if I can just have the minimum services for my teeth cleaning. She refused and was only willing to clean my teeth if I paid the $72. I asked for my final bill statement and paid it. I then walked out. Maybe this business hires too many employees or rent is too high? There has to be a reason why they try to increase profit so aggressively…could it be greed?

I visited this office with severe tooth pain last month and saw Dr. Morris. The office squeezed me in knowing i was in a lot of pain. I didnt wait much in the lobby and they got me out of pain fast! Dr. Morris treated me the same day. They even offered me financing with no interest. I will come back to see them for all my dental needs. Thank you for taking me out of pain, I will recommend this dental office to everyone.

The most unprofessional staff i have ever met in my life. They wanted me to get $500 of deep teeth cleaning, despite i specifically requested a regular one; they insisted for so long that i was so drained and i was about to leave!.Be ready to deal with pushy sales people that care only about money, they are not doctors that love and respect their practice and the patient well-being. I cant wait to report this clinic.

Dr. Morris is awesome! He works extra hard to make sure his patients are comfortable and he is reasonable when it comes to payments and financing! I take all my kids there!

I also go out of my way to come to Tortalita Dental Group and Orthodontics. I live in Tucson, AZ, but drive all of the way to their location in Marana, AZ because they are just that good and very nice, too. I have had a deep cleaning and perio maintenance both with the laser treatment and I am extremely satisfied with their service and patient education. They are always nice and pleasant to me. Also, they usually have promotions for the more expensive dental work to get money off if you make a particular kind of charitable donation like $30 (sometimes even less than that like $15 or $20) to get up to $100 of dental work (not hygienist procedures like cleanings, deep cleanings, etc). I was recommended by my friend and her husband Mr. and Mrs. Howard.

Hadnt been to a dentist in way too long, but this place didnt make me feel bad about it! I was seen immediately at my appointment time and Cathryn (sp?) was a great help in filling out the paperwork and explaing things. Brand new equipment, friendly (non-judgmental) staff and even current issues of magazines in the lobby. I already made an appointment for the wife!!!

I had the best experience here! From making the appointment to making my next appointment. The staff is so pleasant and talks you through each process. They have the newest technology which makes everyones life easier. This will be my dental office. . They even have different payment methods for qualifying patients; we all know dental services can get to be expensive. If youre looking for a nice dental office then this is it!

Very clean! But the hygienist told me I needed my gums flushed which was odd because the doctor said my teeth and gums were really healthy. But when she flushed them she used no numbing agents or anything and she was stabbing the flusher in my gums really really roughly. My mouth was bleeding and it was extremely painful. I couldnt chew and could barley move my mouth for a few days. But other than that they were very friendly and it BY FAR the cleanest dentist office I have been in.

I found this place when I had a cracked tooth and they were the only ones still open on a Friday(I guess there is an unspoken agreement in Tucson for dentists to close at 2?) Despite being a grown man, I have the pain tolerance of a small child, and the anxiety of an even smaller animal. Imagine practicing dentistry for a meerkat maybe? So imagine my surprise when I got a periodontal cleaning and had to fight falling asleep because I was so comfortable.

Everyone at this office treated me with the proper care and respect. The lady that helped me was linda and she was just so wonderful.

Tortolita Dental was a very clean office. Linda was so nice and polite with me. I will be coming back.

I must say very modern and clean office. Has some high tech equipment you dont see in another other dental offices. The doctors and hygienst are very knowledgable. Linda is very helpful and super nice. Felt like I known her for years!

I literally just called asking if they accepted insurance through access and the woman was extremely rude with me on the phone rushed me off of the call when I asked about a payment plan and prices.

I NEVER write reviews but i felt compelled for this!Here is my experience....I have been getting my teeth cleaned for years by very good dentist. A few years ago the dentist i went to retired. Finding a good, honest dentist is not easy. I came in to this place on their special, $39.00 for exam, xrays and cleaning. First, I was taken for xrays. Then the hygentist came in and did the gum check. I was told i had the beginnings of Periodontal disease and needed a deep, teeth and gum cleaning and scraping. Hmmmm, never been told that before, but okay. Then, a guy in charge of the money and payment plan came in. I felt like i was about to buy a car and he was coming to close the deal!! The price of my cleaning jumped up to $411.00!! I said i would have to think about it but for today, please, just give me the $39.00 cleaning. The dentist, Dr Morris, came back in and said he would NOT give me a regular cleaning because the was not what was needed. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT!! Really?!?! I was so disappointed that i wasted 90 minutes of my afternoon, and took off work, to be told that it was an all or nothing deal. I said to Dr. Morris, shouldnt this be my decision on how I want to spend my money on my teeth. And what about the $1200 crown i was told I needed?? Was there a catch with that too?? This was the craziest Dentist visit I have ever had. I will not go back. Felt like everyone was trained to up sale. Seriously, like walking into a car dealership, LOL!!! Unbelievable!!!!! FALSE ADVERTISING and MISREPRESENTATION going on here.......

I havent been to a dentist in years, so I was very nervous and anxious. They were all wonderful with my care, very friendly thourghout the clinic and they were as patient with as much understanding as they could be while getting the job done. I was given estimations on what cost would be involved to my insurance and to myself. I am greatful for Tortilla Dental Group and staff for all your help wirh my care. I would recommend the orthodontist here. Ive had her for going on 2 years and shes very professional as are the assistants that are with her. This is the only reason this office gets a 3 from me.Ive been with Broadway smiles for 2 years but moved in the area so I thought Id transfer my records to this location. I could walk here if I have to. Im keeping my ortho here for that reason. I have to see her every 2 months still so it just makes more sense.I will not go to Tortolita Dental for regular maintenance. They wanted to charge $298 for a cleaning. The majority of that was extra. I had my teeth cleaned regularly, with the same insurance for 4+ years. All the sudden my free cleanings required an annual deductible. I had a cleaning 6 months ago. 2 cleanings last year. I havent been charged a deductible. No changes in insurance in 4 years, or the past 6 months.I had to wait an hour for basically nothing. The dentist had my ortho x rays up on his screen and apparently isnt trained on how to close a window on a computer or open another file (my dental file vs ortho). He had the assistant get up & do it. He wasnt exactly nice about it, either. How you treat others really speaks of your character. I felt this office really just wants as much money as they can possibly get.At the end of the appointment, I chose not to do anything in this office. Ive contacted my previous dental office to transfer my files back. When I left the benefits coordinator asked if I wanted her to call me back in a week to see if I wanted an appointment. I clearly stated I didnt want her to call me, and I hope she doesnt try. The frustration with this office is beyond measure. I would recommend checking out other options in the area. For me, Ill be driving in town for the time being. Its worth it to me to avoid bs.
