I have always had a great experience here! The entire staff is super friendly. I never have to wait a long time. Exams are very thorough. My dentist, Dr Bortz, is very professional and personable! They even give you a toothbrush, floss, and travel toothpaste each visit if you want! Definitely highly recommend!

I enjoyed my visit today. Kaylani was efficient with her duties. Sary was thorough and conscientious with her hygiene care. Dr. Bortz was swift and (dare I say) fun during the exam. Great team, not much else I could have wanted.

Came in as a new PT for a cleaning and to discuss some future work. The team is fantastic, from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist. I won’t be going anywhere else, 10/10 would recommend 🤘🏻

Amazing! Very military friendly, which in my experience is uncommon among many civilian healthcare providers. I had been referred to a different dentist that took over a month to submit a tricare claim, did so incorrectly, and lacked professionalism, basic respect, and care for their patients. My friend recommended Oracle Modern Dentistry after I’d become so frustrated at the incompetence of the other dentist that I cancelled an upcoming wisdom tooth extraction appointment. I called them and from the minute they picked up the phone to the minute I walked (actually, was wheeled) out of the office following wisdom teeth extraction, they were incredibly friendly, professional, knew what they were doing, and really seemed to care about their patients. I highly recommend this office.

It’s a big time bummer to find 2 dentist I really like at Oracle Modern Dentistry. Dr. Watts and Dr. Bortz, along with their assistants have been great for the most part. But the lack of communication between the front staff, some technician assistance and Dr. Miller, has me ready to look elsewhere for the dental care. Several times, I have not been contacted about appointment changes. $3700 later, I still do not have my implant despite being told differently from the beginning from Dr. Miller. And now I paid another $100 for a temporary filler and showed up for the appointment only to be told it wasn’t ready. $3800 and a lack of common courtesy has this place going down the drain. Too bad, because I really liked Dr. Watts and Dr. Bortz.

Dr Bortz, his assistants; Ramiro and Kaycee really stepped up in my time of need. Let me first say that it is easy to deliver great service when everything lines up perfectly. When scheduling and equipment shortcomings attempted to derail my “emergency” dental work, this team came through proving to me that I was a valued client and they were not willing to commit any shortcuts to make sure I was taken care of. FIRST, Dr Bortz and Ramiro came in on a day they were scheduled to be closed! I was going to start cancer treat soon and all due to my procrastination, I never scheduled the recommended dental work, crowns, etc. Yet,despite my failing to schedule these over the past year, they made time to come into the office that day after Thanksgiving to get my treatments closer to completion so that I don’t have to deal with them post cancer-treatment. SECOND. Their brand new scanner had an issue, so instead of doing the easy thing and rescheduling, they contacted another office that has the same scanner and drive me to that office to get my scans completed. That’s going above and beyond. THIRD. Dr. Bortz, Kaycee and Ramiro stayed in touch with me throughout the process that included new crowns and dental trays. It’s easy to see that Dr. Bortz “knows his stuff” but it is really encouraging to see that he and his staff care about the patient. I HIGHLY recommend the entire Oracle Modern Dentistry office for any dental procedure.

Staff was really nice. Office was clean.Went in for exam/cleaning, and they refused to do the cleaning. They claimed I didnt qualify for a regular cleaning. How does one qualify?!?. They said I needed a deeper cleaning that required a more extensive procedure first. This procedure was more expensive and insurance would only cover a portion if it. I thought a regular cleaning for the rest of my teeth would still be in order, but they said no. I went to another dentist and they said I was good and didnt need that other procedure (they also did a regular cleaning). After a visit to a third dentist, I was told Im definitely good, and modern dentistry was only trying to make more money. I guess they get a commission so theres more of a reason to upsell. Never thought a dentist visit would be like getting your car worked on. Pays to shop around! Good luck!!

I have been going to Dr. Bortz for 3 years now and am 100% satisfied. He and his staff a very knowledgeable and accommodating. I have always had a fear of the dentist from being a child and they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I like Dr. Bortz. His office is very clean and the staff is nice. He’s thorough and fair, but I just can’t keep waiting in a chair for 30-60 minutes for him to examine my teeth after they are clean.. 1.5 hours for a simple cleaning and STILL no doctor exam.. and I’d still have to wait for flouride treatment too!!! Which by the way they try to get me to do MYSELF!! Handing it to me on the way out.. no thank you. This is my second of three visits where I waited in a chair for a doctor way too long. I finally left and won’t be returning. My time is worth money too!

Dr. Bortz and his staff are awesome! I get extremely anxious about seeing the dentist but the staff at Oracle put me at ease with their (noticeable) high level of care. I will never consider going to another dentist. highly recommend

This is the first review Ive ever written for any business, but I felt it necessary because of how good my experience at Oracle Modern Dentistry was...Dr. Bortz and the staff at O.M.D. are simply amazing! I was in an extreme amount of pain and they scheduled me in right away for an emergency Root Canal and Crown. The procedures were quick and painless, they explained everything to me very thoroughly and I was well taken care of.I didnt have to wait at all, the facility is clean and comfortable, the equipment they utilize is very advanced and Dr. Bortz has an awesome music playlist!I will be taking care of all my future dental needs at Oracle Modern Dentistry and I highly recommend you do the same.

Like many others, I have a HUGE fear of the dentist but this office calmed those and was the best I have ever been to! Every single person that helped me that day was beyond helpful and kind. They were all very empathetic towards my fears and took extra care when treating and cleaning the teeth that were in a lot of pain. Never want to go anywhere else!

After seeing the same dentist for over ten years, my new insurance sadly wasnt accepted. As I looked around for a new Dentist I found this office, and I am extremely happy that I did! The front desk staff went over scheduling, becoming a new patient was very easy and welcoming. Denise went over payments with my insurance, another staff member took my xrays in a very professional manner. My hygienist was very knowledgeable and professional. A week prior to my appointment they called me to let me know how long I would be there for, this was important to me as I needed to plan my day accordingly. Dr. Bortz is straightforward and professional, he has an amazing team! The office is clean, and hand sanitizer is located everywhere! You get your small treat bag at the end of your visit (toothbrush, floss, toothpaste). I look forward to being their patient for upcoming years! Thank you!!

Arguably the best dentistry services I have received, both military and civilian. The technology is state of the art, including 3D tooth mapping, digital X-Rays (with bedside review capability), and CEREC options, allowing for upgraded solutions on my teeth that were previously not possible. I had multiple procedures performed by Dr. Bortz, and I can say his standard of care is well above my previous expectations. His attention to detail, proficiency, and perfectionist mindset allowed for a long term solution on a complex tooth which previous (military and civilian) dentists were unable to get right for years. I will continue to keep him as my primary care provider, and highly recommend him to new patients. Additionally, the front staff are always professional, and the hygienists are thorough, yet gentle during cleaning procedures. I have not had a bad experience here.

This was my first visit and I was blown away by the professionalism of every single person at your office. Im bad with names, but the front desk/benefits coordinator, the gentleman who took my x-rays, the woman who did the cleaning, and Dr. Sabia were above and beyond pleasant, and I really appreciated the time they took to be thorough with my examination. These guys are on another level! I usually fret these cleaning visits but Dr Bortz and team took the extra time to completely eliminate the physical pain associated with the procedures. All their equipment is state of the art, and they are meticulous with it, at one point they were cleaning my teeth with micro-lasers from all angles, which made my teeth feel cleaner than ever; certainly better than my previous office that was practicing some kind of dinosaur dentistry. My only complaint is they keep it a little cold in there, bring a jacket. Anyways, I highly recommend this place, best dental office I’ve ever been to!!

I have had a lifetime fear of dentists. Twice a year cleanings were all I could handle. However, earlier this year I had a tooth that needed a root canal. I had no trust in my current dentist so I tried Oracle Modern Dentistry out of blind luck. They made me feel so comfortable the minute I walked in the door. Well, in the last 6 months they have done a root canal, three crowns, and deep scaling on all my teeth. All pain free! Everyone from the office staff to the doctors do everything they can to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr Watkins, Dr Bortz, Julie, Dr Ben, the office staff-Michael, Veronica, Nina and all the assistants to the doctors: THANK YOU! I highly recommend this office!

I cry everytime I go to the dentist. I broke my adult teeth when I was 9, I have battled problems with my teeth for the last 30 years. I was not made to feel bad about my teeth, I was given compassion and a plan to get my teeth fixed. He handled my emergency root canal with almost no pain. (Just the pinch on the first shot) My face did not feel bruised the following day. No problems with pain afterwards. Amazing.

I normally love Oracle modern dentistry but yesterday I went in because I have a chipped tooth and an exposed nerve, which is so painful I can barely eat, drink or sleep. Well I could not afford to come up with $1,100. So they just sent me on my way with no antibiotics or pain meds. As soon as I left the office I started crying and I was so upset. I understand them not being able to do the root canal but to have me leave with nothing at all when they were fully aware of how much pain an exposed nerve causes and an infection. I am not pleased with them to say the least. Very unprofessional!!!😟😥 seems to me like they care more about money than the care of their patients.$$ really disappointed since I really did like the office.

Let me explain the reason for one star. They didnt offer me different options for my bridge work. The dentist saw the car I drove up in and immediately pegged me for the most expensive bridges. I got two bridges for $6,000. Insane I know and shame on me for not asking for options. I did go back and they wanted to $295 to whiten my teeth which I had done a month ago. When I asked about the charge, they said they waived it, when I confronted them with why I paid so much for the bridges the receptionist began to lie to me and then said she would contact me later the same day after she would take to the principal owner of this store. Never heard back from them. Buyer beware!!!!!

So I had the best experience here. The front office was great and welcoming. I had to get an tooth extraction and man was this tooth stubborn. The dentist assistant was kind, very knowledgeable and overall a sweet heart! The surgical dentist eron was patient, very concerned for my pain level and a nice man. First off I came here because my children went to the location in sahuarita and I liked the service there.i myself am a manager and understand how people can be difficult.So I Always try to give people the benefit of the doubt.First the staff especially Jonathan n the dentist cant recall her name were Great office is clean everyone is professional and super nice.Where it goes wrong is first off my root canal n crown I was told was about a 3-4 hours procedure that cost me about 8thousand before my insurance took almost 6HOURS.After the root canal I was taken to a different room for the crown the dentist came and did some stuff for the crown then went to another patient across the hall.i was waiting SO long no one checked on me ithe numbing medication from the root canal wore off I was in SO much pain I was going to leave but didnt have my crown yet.So I walked to the front desk and asked what was going on Jonathan got some other dentist to renumb me and they said the dentist would be in to finish.after another 45 min I was watching the time at this point she came back and finished the crown.although the crown seemed to be ok I told her it felt high on one side she said o yeah thats right I need to file it down OK so you were just going to let me leave like that? anyway after all is said and done I ended up paying over 3thousand out of pocket most on HSA and set up auto payment arrangements.great but after I made a payment that was not scheduled to try n speed up the process it seemed it was never credited so I emailed them asking for a breakdown of my account No one responded after Another full payment came out of my account I sent Another email. Finally the manager Melissa got back to me and said she didnt have any email for me which is not true because I had to put one when I filled out the initial paperwork and I had Already sent an email asking about my account .she saidthe credit had been applied and my insurance paid a little more n I was all paid up mycards would be taken off file Guess Not! while on vacation I receive an email thanking me for my payment???it overdrafted my account because I wasnt expecting any payment she said my account was 0? I emailed her she said it was a mistake due to changes in the accounting department she would refund it and some additional from my insurance I should receive it in about a week after a week came and went I Again emailed her and she said her manager was on vacation and had to approve it .So your telling me nothing has been done?when my district manager is on vacation there is always someone handling customer service issues while shes gone so I dont understand why here we are almost 2weeks later and I STILL DONT HAVE A REFUND??!!nice office nice staff but over all not a good experience for the amount of money I would expect better period.

My elderly Dad recently became a patient of Dr. Bortz. During the first appointment Dad had xrays and a cleaning. The hygienist and Dr. Bortz discovered Dad was in need of extra dental work, and the second appointment was scheduled.The staff in this practice are all very professional and polite. Dr. Bortz exercised great care and kindness toward Dad. After the more extensive work was done, Dad had very little discomfort and is healing very well. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Went in for a teeth cleaning and an estimate on a crown and somehow ended up with $1000 bill, not including the outrageously high estimate for my crown. I asked them to speak with my insurance because their quote and the prices from my insurance werent adding up. This office is a SCAM and I will never be going here again. Stay away. Wont listen to your concerns and didnt even notify me that the X-rays they were taking were not covered by my insurance.

Would not recommend for a crown. I needed 2 crowns which cost me over $2,000. I was the quality of the crowns was above the rest and they would out live me. This was about w hears ago, and since then BOTH have fallen out and once of the replacements just chipped. On top of that I do not appreciate being talked down to and lectured when your over priced product failed.

Well this place doesnt even deserve a star. You wait hours to be seen... ive had two crowns done and both had to be repaired. One crown started breaking while i was eating a sandwich. I ended up having to get extracted and the dentist told me hed give me 900 credit. I am switching offices and the office manager said absoluteely not when i asked if the money could go to my current bill. Not to mention some guy named jonathan had already told me oh yeah that shouldnt be a problem. They are major scammers and to me, very impersonal. Id recommend switching to a family dentistry. Dr. Bortz is not professional.

If they even THINK you are rude on the PHONE, THEY WILL REFUSE SERVICE TO YOU AND IF YOU NEED A UBER OR LYFT THEY WILL NOT HELP WITH THAT EITHER.

No one likes to go to the dentist. Especially if they need expensive work done. The staff worked very well to accommodate my deafness. They took the time to explain everything that I asked and then some.

Horrible, horrible experience. I went in a few weeks ago for a routine check-up and had to wait for over 45 minutes to be seen. After my x-rays were completed, I was told that I would not be able to get my cleaning done and would need to come back in due to a dental hygienist calling out sick. Why wouldnt they call me that morning to reschedule?? After that news, I had to wait another 45 minutes for the dentist. No one came in to give me a status update, and I had to search someone out to give me an update, as I thought they had forgotten me. All in all, it was a 3 hour experience.I had to go back in today to get a crown replaced. I showed up for my appointment on time, only to wait AGAIN for over an hour for my cleaning. While in the middle of my cleaning, the dental assistant informed me that my dentist was running behind and it would be at least another hour before I could be seen, and asked if I would be fine rescheduling. At that point I asked for a refund, given that I had just paid them over $1000 only to be waiting around for two hours. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.My husband had an appointment with this dentist on a different day, and had a very similar experience. Hours spent for a routine exam, including long waits in the middle of appointment, with no one on the staff caring enough to update their patients on running behind.

After being scammed by two previous dental offices in Tucson, I can gladly say that the service from OMDO was superb!
