We brought our teenager in to work with Dr B and have very much appreciated his straight forward approach. Our son respects Dr B and is making great progress. Dr B is great with communicating progress. And there has been a lot of progress!

Dr. Brunner is one of the best minds Tucson has to offer when it comes to seeing and treating patients as whole persons. An incredibly empatheticand competent mental health professional, I would describe him as an ethical perfectionist that only takes steps and makes recommendations first and foremost with the well-being of the people and families he serves. His level of competency is the best our community has to offer, and Tucson is thankful for having him as a part of our clinical community.

Dr. Brunner is an insightful forensic psychologist who is meticulous in his attention to the details of the issue at hand. He was involved at the end of my six-year child custody battle. He did an amazing job assisting the court in sorting through the facts and fictions in our custody case. I can tell you through my experience he seems somewhat cold-blooded in nature, however, he is extremely professional, organized, and is dedicated to doing the job right.He is, admittedly, somewhat expensive, but well worth it. After a custody battle that was ongoing for well over six years, he was able to highlight the facts for the courts attention in order to dissolve the matter after only thirty days. He went out of his way to prioritize the safety of the child, for which I am very grateful.His receptionist is an organized sweetheart, who was also very helpful. No disappointments other than cost.

Dr. Brunner did an incredible job with helping my teenage son. He was extremely thorough in his evaluation and saw what other mental healthcare professionals did not care to look close enough to see. He was 100% committed to helping us in an unconventional and difficult emergency situation, and I cant imagine any other psychologist would have been willing to help us as much as Dr. Brunner did (we tried many!), and my family will be forever grateful. My son is doing so much better because of the mental health help we were able to get him based on Dr. Brunners evaluation.We did pay accordingly for his service, but it was worth every penny for how much it helped our son. We tried to get Tricare insurance to reimburse for some of it, but they require providers to register their credentials with Tricare (even as out-of-network) and Dr. Brunner is not registered with them, so theres no way for reimbursement.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Dr. Brunner: On one hand I found him to be knowledgeable, resourceful, and highly competent in his field and that is why I hired him and paid him more than $4,000. But I found myself frustrated with several of his office policies, including scheduling and billing procedures. Also, each and every consultation started and ended significantly late, which caused hardship for me and my family.

When our son started struggling in school, we sought help from a number of sources including school counselors, therapists, psychologists, and sports psychologists. None of them were able to pinpoint the problem. Then we found Tom Brunner. He took the time and applied the resources necessary to correctly diagnose out sons ADHD and get him help. Kudos to Dr. Brunner and his caring associate , Denice. We were up against the wall, and they helped turn that wall into a doorway that lead to possibilities.

Dr. Brunner is one of the smartest people I know. He has truly accelerated to the top of his industry, and is the best of the best!

Dr. Brunner has consistently been someone that we can rely on when it comes to seeking out professional help. I think in todays day and age we sometimes miss out on the value of a professional that is very knowledgeable and capable when so many people are just internet diagnosing using Google and WebMD. Hes always taken a very thoughtful approach and what weve got back has always been specific, detailed and thorough. He definitely knows his stuff and I wouldnt recommend anyone else for what Dr. Brunner does.
