Esther did a wonderful job straightening my hair. I was unable to travel out of state and get my hair done by my regular stylist, and I was a little hesitant to go to a new salon at first. However, her years of experience with many different types of hair gave me confidence. Im glad Ive found another great stylist. I was with Esther all day, and she took great care of my hair. I will definitely return.

I had my hair ruined a day before an important event. I was shocked to see the lack of quality in knowledge and in service from someone who claims to be an expert with nearly 2 decades of experience.Im absolutely heartbroken and you should be ashamed of yourself and all the shortcuts you took. Even 1 star is too much.

Esther did an excellent service for straightening my hair. She was very patient and professional. My hair was curl and very wavy before the service. After the Japanese straightening treatment at this salon, my hair becomes as straight as I expected. After my first wash, the hair is still straight. Thank you, Esther.

As an Asian-American with thick hair, I was so relieved to have found this place on Yelp! Excellent customer service. The space is vibrant and clean. It has a very professional and new feeling to it. Esther was very attentive and meticulous the entire time. At other hair salons, I have sometimes felt like they were trying to rush my haircut to get to the next customer, but Esther took so much care with my hair, I felt as if she was cutting her own.Additionally, there is a rewards program. After 10 haircuts you get a free haircut or deep conditioning! AND after getting a haircut you are automatically entered into a monthly drawing for a chance to win around $25 of free hair supplies. Her young children love picking the winners every month from the raffle box. She also had me fill out a client form to list my birthday, hobbies, occupation and preferred appointment time. It was a small touch, but it made me feel like more than a transaction and that this salon cares about me.Esther is personable and shared that opening up a hair salon of her own in Arizona has always been her dream. Ok, so in all honesty I havent had my hair done here yet. But from the experience Ive had so far I know Im going to love this place. I went in and the lady there was really friendly, made me feel welcome and treated me very well. We went over options for my hair and because I have very colorful hair already she worked with me to kinda keep my hair colorful. I am so excited to get my hair done here! I was supposed to come in on the Saturday after my consult but I had a small family emergency and couldnt make it. They are being kind enough to let me reschedule and I am beyond greatful. I highly recommend Salon 520 Beauty Lab just based on the service Ive had so far. Incredible people working here and the prices are fair and reasonable! Go check em out!

I love this place. Hubby and I went in the morning to get my haircut before we had to go into my Dr. appointment and the haircut turned out exactly how I wanted it, with time to spare! Hubby liked her work so much he decided to get his own haircut if she wasnt busy.. she was more than happy to do so, made him look like a human again lol, no more hats for him! Ive been recommending everyone that asks to this salon. Def going to get my little girls hair done there as well for her birthday, my mother in law was so interested shes getting her hair done there too haha. I got a hair cut here at Salon 520 and Esther did a great job. She perfectly cut my hair the way I wanted. I am very picky and didnt want to go back to my old shop so I wanted to try this new place out. I am so glad I did... The customer service and vibe is the way any trendy salon these days should be. I know it is very hard to find a hip salon in Tucson with great customer service and some great music playing in the background, but if you like your hair cut correctly I would come here without a doubt. It is a affordable and the customer service was top notch.

It was amazing! I was scared because i was getting my first perm. They reassured me and were welcoming and very nice. They asked me questions to understand what i was looking for and were patient with all my questions and answered honestly. I will go here for now on.

This new Salon reaches new heights, Esther is one of a kind hair stylist! You have to check her out, she is very knowledgeable and made me look 10 years younger with my new hair style! Ive been to Gadabout, The Studio Hair Artistry and About Me but I feel like this place is going to be the next best thing. I booked my appointment with Esther online, it was super easy. New to Tucson, I have been looking for a salon that could work with me around style and color. On my third try I believe I found it. Esther was very prompt in communicating back to me with an appointment that was convenient for me. Teresa was the stylist I saw and she was terrific. She listened and when I asked her for suggestions she had several which I liked. She suggested highlights instead of full color and it turned out perfect. The salon is welcoming and attractively decorated. I highly recommend the salon and Teresa. Ginny

They offer amazing customer service and you won’t be disappointed with trying them out. They also offer a military discount for any that would apply to!

I moved my hair shop to Salon520 as Esther opens her own salon in south east Tucson. This place is far away from my home compared to the previouse place where Esther used to work. But it is worth driving. Mordern, clean, and nicer salon ever. Whatever you expect, you will see more. As always, 5 BILLION STARS. It is just begining of STAR WARS!!!
