I had the best experience with Dr. Bailey as he explained to me the Trigger point injection procedure at my first consultation appointment.He made me feel at ease and the procedure went smoothly. After a few days I literally don’t have anymore neck and shoulder pain. I highly recommend him.

The first time I was there to see Dr. Bailey, I was confident that he listened to my problems with pain. He has scheduled xrays and a procedure for my back pain and I feel he is sincerely interested in helping me. He made me feel at ease and for one of the few times, I was not nervous while talking to my doctor for my first visit.

As a retired Pediatric Oncology Clinical Nurse Special, I believe I am pretty good judge of what is and isnt quality care. My previous PISA appointments went fairly well but I had to make several follow-up calls as I mediated between the clinic and the pharmacy regarding medication prescriptions. The pharmacy asks me to tell the PISA provider to amend the prescription to what they have available but PISA has a policy that limits the number of tablets allowed in a month. The patient is caught in the middle of these two inflexible entities with little, if any, choice in the outcome.My last appointment was awful. The Nurse Practitioner was abrupt and demanding. She made it crystal clear that she little time to see me and demanded an instant reply regarding what dosage for my prescription. When I balked at replying, she left the room to see another patient. I felt stunned and frankly, abused by her behavior. The NP did eventually return to my room and we settled on the prescription. It was the most miserable encounter I have ever experienced from any provider in my 68 years.I did not invite the tragedy that befell me and left me in chronic pain. But all patients have the right to expect quality care and part of that quality is compassion and respect. Even if a providers work schedule is crammed with patients. And a patient should not be mediating battles between pharmacies and providers. I have to sign a pain contract with PISA. It is time they sign a provider contract with each patient promising to deliver quality and compassionate care because no one deserves to live a life in constant pain.

I transferred from another clinic that was terrible and came here and immediately felt more comfortable. The staff and doctors are so nice and they treat you very good. I saw Dr. Bailey and he was very helpful and knew exactly what to do.

Dr. Bailey is skilled, knowledgeable and kind. However. the fact that he listens to me and goes out of his way to make sure I understand the treatment options and what to expect makes this stressful experience much less so. The staff are also very helpful and caring.

There is no continuity of care. They will shuffle you around everybody and when you ask why they’re doing something they discharge you. I will be suing them and I think that anyone who would like to send me a note on Google and I will involve you in a class action lawsuit against their stupid facility along with two other pain clinics in this horrid area

I have been a patient of Dr Cornidez for a few years. He, and his entire team, are caring and compassionate. I have several areas that cause me pain and he has approached my care plan as a team effort with me in charge. He knows I know my body and we work together to lay out a plan of attack. ONE OF THE BEST DRS IVE EVER HAD

I initially went here to receive epidural injections for 2 messed up discs at the base of my spine. My initial impression was very positive. However after 3 separate injections without any meaningful relief I have been unable to get them to address my pain. Currently I have been playing phone tag but no one ever returns my calls. I have been hung up on, ignored, and generally just cast aside with little concern given to my symptoms

I am very satisfied with the way my appt went. It was on my computer, a very enjoyable experience, First because I didnt have to drive to their office and second I did feel it was the same as being in a exam room and confidential. So yes It was more than satisfactory. Dr. Baily was very nice and let me ask questions which he answered to my satisfaction.

I asked Kerry Kopecke to transfer my prescription for August to a Walgreens in Mesa, since I was going to be vacationing there. When I requested the refill, I was told that no Walgreens, in Tucson or Phoenix area had 10 mg tablets. The Mesa store did have 5 mg tablets and would dispense the equivalent amount with a changed prescription from my provider. She refused to prescribe any more than half the number of milligrams per day than I was taking and offered no clinical support for what will be a 50% reduction creating withdrawal. This is medical negligence. She should be reprimanded.

Everybody from the front desk to the patient recovery room were awesome. They make you feel special. Dr. Christopher Bailey is an amazing Dr. He has always hit my pain right on the spot. Thank you.

I think PISA is excellent. Dr Cornidez, Michelle Boone and Lucinda (dont know last name) are knowledgeable, quick to respond to my pain issues and very caring. I was afraid of going to a pain clinic before this but I am so happy I am going to PISA. They are great!!!!

Had an epidural injection into my spine today by Dr. Gossler. He is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to thoroughly explain whats going on with the spine as well as treatments that PISA can provide. He always takes the time to thoroughly answer any questions I have without making me stupid which many doctors have a tendency to do. He also is an expert at epidural injections as he tells whats going on as the procedure is administered. Overall, he is a 5 star doctor and as far as doctors treating pain patients, I would give him 5 plus extra stars for his overall combination of expertise, compassion, clarity of explanations of medical terminology complete with a model of a skeleton and sense of humor.

I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Bailey and his staff. They are genuinely concerned about the outcome of my injections; and I have had several. We had to make an adjustment to include a different area when I did not get the desired result during one appointment. They get the proper authorization with my insurance and schedule me in a timely manner. I feel very COVID safe in all of the locations that I have been seen. I would highly recommend Dr. Bailey to my friends!

I was scheduled for a consult and possible procedure with Dr. Gossler. Dr Gossler did a thorough evaluation and proposed a plan for medical treatment based on my symptoms. He performed the first treatment several minutes later explaining the process as he went. The procedure went well without and problems. He seemed very knowledgeable and I will have no problem returning to see him for further treatment if the need arises.

Dr Gossler communicates what he is doing during the procedure and helps you understand whats happening as you go. He is informative and skilled doctor. He cares about your pain level and is gentle.

The pain clinic has helped me with chronic back pain for a few years now. They listen and do what needs to be done to lessen the pain and daily struggles.

The first time I went to PISA was to see Dr Cornidez for the pain in my wrist that had gone on for years and got to a point where the pain was debilitating due to Carpal Tunnel. After consulting with Dr Cornidez about a Steroid injection treatment I felt comfortable and at ease with going forward with the treatment. On the day of my treatment his staff was very attentive and welcoming. Dr Cornidez was very receptive as well and during the procedure he was very proactive in his explanation of what he was doing, which I appreciated immensely.I also just recently went in to see Dr Cornidez about some ongoing issues I was experiencing with pain in my elbow. The pain got to a point where I couldnt even shake someones hand without wincing in pain. Again, I consulted with Dr Cornidez, and again I opted to go forward with the procedure. I can only say that for both procedures I wish I had gone sooner to see Dr Cornidez and his staff.Both issues have been treated successfully and I have my life back. I am grateful for the knowledge of all the staff at PISA, but more importantly for the care they provided. I highly recommend Pain Institute of Southern Arizona. Dr Bailey and Nevro/Sandra were very respectful. This seems new-ish to everyone (well 4 years). I am still curious about why the battery for this was put on my right side back when that is where I said the pain exists. Because of sleep apnea I only sleep on my back. New setting not helping.

My first visit was just a test for the efficacy of the pain shots for a very painful area in my back, so the relief was just for about 12 hours or so. But what a WONDERFUL 12 hours! Sure gave me confidence that Dr. Bailey knew what he was doing, and that there was hope for the future!

I have seeing Dr Gossler since about 2012. The only Doctor that was able to do anything about the pain in my back.

The video process was a breeze. However calling to make the initial appointment was a nightmare. The 1:31 opening message was long, pressing 2 for scheduling, phone rang with no answer, no voice. I hung up called again, I didn’t press any options snd waited for operator. No answer, looped back around to original message. This process took me 45 minutes.

The medical assistant and PA were both GREAT, but this is not how I am comfortable speaking with a Doctor. This call was fine, but if I had needed to speak with them about more sensitive issues I would not have felt free to do so. Just doesnt feel completely safe in this day and age.

My wife and I had two interactions with Dr. Glosslerss Pain Institute, today. The first was with Jessica, and then Sylvia Valenzuela via a video conference on medications from our home.The second was filling out, signing forms, and leaving a medical sample in person at the Institute.Both encounters were efficient and pleasant. Seeing these both of them via on screen worked well and they set us at easy.Also, I had no problem with the conference connections.The signage outside the buildings, for the in-person visit, directed us as to which office to enter, and was well done.Given these Covid 19 times, we look forward to future appointments like this one today.Sincerely, David and Pat A.

It was good at the first year gone down hill sence virus hit had 2 surgerys and I could not get any meds for pain and they was not a small surgery .now I need it redone. It never healed right they dont seem to care if you have a quality life and a quality life without pain

Although pain meds takes the edge off, the pain dictates what I am able to do. Pain limits my getting up/ out, as keep having to sit back on my heating pad to bring relief. Apparently increasing my dosage has not been an option.I have to pass on getting out and enjoying myself more than I should have to.Limits getting exercise since walking is also affected.

Sylvia Valenzuela and Dr Gossler are my amazing team at The Pain Institute of Southern Arizona (PISA). I have several back, neck, hip, sciatic, and knee problems at the age of 40. They have kept me sane with controlled pain management medications and I have received several diagnostic injections leading to nerve ablation and Dr Gossler has my sciatic pain completely under control! In the past two years I have had far more good days than bad, and that is all thanks to the great team at PISA!

Cant ever get ahold of anyone at the clinic, no one ever calls me back... recently they scheduled an appointment for me and didnt tell me about it until 10 minutes before the appointment which I then couldnt make it to because I was at work and cant check my phone.... Now im completely out of pain meds and still cant get ahold of anyone. So I dont know how im going to make it through the upcoming weekend without being practically ridden from the pain....Absolutely would NOT recommend this place to anyone

For several years now, Sylvia and Jessica are always thorough and take very good care of my needs. Anytime I have a question or concern they will address it promptly. I feel better with my pain management in their hands.

I absolutely recommend Pain Institute of Southern Arizona. Having had a bad experience at another pain clinic, I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of care Ive received. I am a retired nurse so I tend to be picky but this office has exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable physicians and Nurse practitioners.
