What a caring group here. Gently supported us as we brought my dad home for his last days--where he wanted to be. Professional and knowledgeable.

I know this is 4 years late but today makes the anniversary of my mothers passing and my fathers passing on Oct 8th. I wanted to thank you for everything you did for our family. They brought comfort in the most difficult of times in our life. We had both parents in their care and they passed in peace surrounded by family and their caring staff. They even went as far as making two stuffed animals from articles of clothing from both my parents so my children had something to remember my parents. They made sure all the equipment was picked up same day so it wouldnt up set my children when my parents passed. They were supporting us from the moment that my parents arrived to my home till after they both passed. We were even able to get a chaplin to give my parents their last rights and a newal of their wedding vows before they passed our entire family was grateful for their commitment to providing a smooth transition and being supportive of our children durring this difficult time. Thank you for everything and keep doing what you do.

The care my mother received for hospice was excellent. The staff was just as attentive to me while coping with my mothers illness and hospice experience. There are angels that walk amongst us.

The nurses, doctor, and other workers who served my dying uncle were kind, professional, and quick to respond to requests. They explained things well and listened to our wishes. They treated my uncle with dignity and helped give him a soft landing to the arms of God.Sheryl stands out , but all were very good in a difficult time

We had a horrible experience with Trinity Hospice-- in fact, I believe, they hastened the death of my loved one. They didnt follow instructions (agreed upon instructions) from the hospital, they over-medicated which caused a person who was alert and happy to be home two days before, to have respiratory failure. And to add insult to injury, a family heirloom folk violin (only worth something to us) went missing after the two nights of hospice care. Im sorry to have to think this way, but NO one else was in the house unsupervised. It has been almost a year-- and Im still really bothered by what went on. A major medical center took them off of their preferred provider list because of what went on--

My Mother was sent home by Doctor Teresa Henderson Cedar Sinaii to Hospice, I still thought she would get better because after blood transfusions, and fed by nurses, and kept for three days, she seemed to improve. The hospice people were not there, but she coughed up blood and we went back to the Hospital, she was then sent home with their crisis nurses. Soon as they gave her morphine my mother did not speak again. I was told to withhold food and water, just moisten the mouth, with the threat that she could asphyxiate if I did. I later found out this is what they do, starve the patient to death. I was told nothing, a social worker called Amy showed up and shoved cremation notices in my face and my mother was not even dead, when I reacted she said a lot of mentally deficient people look after their parents, what a horrible person to work with grief stricken people.

Providence TrinityCare isnt the best hospice company at all! They promise a lot and deliver no quality comfort for patient and family! Totally unsatisfied with the quality of care and lack of regard for my mother. Equipment is inferior and the social workers lack efficient communication skills, coupled with the supervisor.

My experience with Trinity Providence Palliative/Hospice care was amazing. Because of the Palliative care team that they provided, my husband was able to transition from a subpar nursing facility to our home. The palliative social worker would contact me regularly to make sure that not only was my husband ok, but that I was ok. The palliative nurse knew the exact medications that my husband needed to ease his pain and was a phone call away whenever I had questions. When my husband transitioned into Hospice care, the head nurse assigned to us spent over 3 hours at our home, which included ordering a hospital bed and other equipment needed for his transition, as well providing emotional comfort to my husband, as well as myself. The equipment was delivered the next day, and supplies for bathing and incontinence were delivered on a regularly basis. All of the hospice nurses showed up promptly and treated my husband with dignity. I had forewarned the hospice team that I didn’t want to discuss my husband’s mortality in front of him, and one nurse who visited even took the extra step to put duct tape over the stitching of her blouse that spelled out ‘hospice’ so that my husband wouldn’t see it.The caretakers that bathed my husband were scheduled regularly so I never needed to call to schedule. Each caretaker was so friendly and handled the difficult task of bathing and changing my husband’s bed linens with a smile on their face. They made sure that my husband was treated with dignity.I was also most impressed with the fact that everytime I called the 800 number for the hospice team, I got a live voice on the phone, 24/7, who would assist me with any questions or help that I needed to make my husband more comfortable. The social workers assigned to our case were amazing. There have access to hospice volunteers, so will come sit with your loved one if you need to leave the house. At one point our social worker said that if she could not find a volunteer to come sit with my husband, she would do it herself. Luckily, she found a volunteer who called soon after and said he would be happy to help.Every human being deserves to die in dignity. Because of Trinity Providence Palliative/Hospice care, my husband was allowed to do that. I will always be grateful to them.
