I have acne prone skin & have had some horrible experiences with Dermatologists in the past. I finally found a way to clear up my skin on my own. Until I had a break out like never before, my skin was breaking out in areas that have never broken out in the past and was irritated and itchy. I went to a dermatologist that dismissed all my concerns and just labeled my issues as Acne saying it just happens sometimes & people are unlucky. I was disheartened & could not accept that answer after all the hard work I’ve put in to clearing up my skin.From a recommendation of a friend, I decided to get a second opinion with Coast Dermatology. I was so nervous going in. But I will have to say I am soooo incredibly happy and grateful that I did!Dr. Kassardjian is a God sent to the Dermatology world! 🙏😇 He actually took the time to listen to all my concerns and the different factors that might be causing my breakout. He diagnosed my condition and it was not Acne.😱🙌🥲 I was so relieved and felt heard, understood, & taken care of. I wish I could give him a 1,000 stars ⭐️ but I guess 5 will have to do. Thank you & I’ll be sending patients your way ❤️❤️❤️

I really had an exceptional experience at Coast Dermatology. I went in and was greeted by friendly office personnel. Very nice office by the way, and I appreciated the wait time to be short and the visit to be on time.Initially is was thinking of going a different route to accomplish what I am seeking, but after the consultation I realize that consulting with Dr. Mark Horowitz was the best decision I have made in a long time.I am excited to see what results are attained and will be scheduling for further procedures.Thanks to a great staff and also Dr. Mark Horowitz.

My family and I have gone to coast dermatology for years now, and have always loved it! Ive seen Leah and Holly, who have always been AMAZING in helping me with any and all of my skincare needs.But i must say one HUGE turn off with coast dermatology is some of the receptionist they decide to hire at this place. Most that I have encountered have been super unhelpful, rude and unpleasant to deal with. So much so that my mom actually stopped coming here a while ago.Recently when I tried to book an appointment (like I have done many times) i dealt with Miranda, who was so unhelpful, rude and seemed very rushed to get off the phone. After ending my phone call with NO APPOINTMENT scheduled , I decided to call back and speak with a manger who might be of more help to provide me with information to schedule the right appointment. *after being on hold for a while* Cindy answered, who just so happened to be just as rude as Miranda, (not to mention did not sound like a manager at all) instead of addressing the issue and apologizing for her staff, she scheduled my appointment that I had originally called about but was denied and before I could finish saying thank you, hung up. HA!Such a tough thing, when you LOVE the dermatologist you go to but feel uncomfortable around the negativity and rudeness of the staffing.The people make the place and your making your place super unpleasant to be at.Please Coast Dermatology, teach your staff to BE KIND!!UPDATE: I received a phone call from Cindy 2 minutes ago, she stated the following to me: , Hi Erica because your Yelp review we decided to cancel your upcoming appointment. HAHA truth hurts and instead of fixing the problem they decide to hide it! Do yourself the favor and go on Yelp to read how many bad reviews there are on how horrible there front desk staff is, yet nothing seems to be done. SAD!

Dr. Mark has always made me feel comfortable with him when I am consulting with him about my health issues. He is very attentive to my needs. I have trusted him for the past 5 years because he has always been able to diagnose and prescribe the necessary treatments for me to get better. Thank you and your staff for helping me.

I love to feel like a new me after my visit here at Coast. I have had such an improvement to my skin in the last 6 months. Thank you for making me feel confident and excited to explore new things. The only reason I didnt give them all 5 stars is because sometimes the wait to go in can be 20 minutes or so.

I was referred to come see Dr. Horowitz by a very close and trusted friend. I was unsure about seeking another professional about my on going problem with my skin. I have had results far from acceptable in prior visits with other professionals. I am not blaming anyone because I feel that my condition was very hard to diagnose given the fact that I have not had any improvement to speak of in the last two years.I came in and was greeted by a very nice front desk person and was delighted by Dr. Horowitz and his associates. I was made to feel very comfortable when speaking about my history and my disappointments in the past. After careful screening and diagnosis Dr. Horowitz came up with a plan a action. I have had such wonderful results over a 6 month course of time. I am just ecstatic that a solution was found and I can have results that are visibly working for me. Thank you so much.

From my initial phone call to my actual visit everything was great. The staff was super nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I came in to try the latisse because my eyelashes were so thin and short. I have not been using it for that long and they have already grew thicker and longer...I added my pic so you can see what they look like without mascara. I started the hair removal process today and was told that it will take additional visits to complete the desired results. I figured that it was going to take some time because of the amount of hair I have. The procedure is simple enough but I wish if a way could be found to shorten the process. Oh well, I am sure it will be worth it.

Hands down .... the best.

Bad experience. Found the nurses to be disorganized and called several times to follow up on biopsy results and never received a call back. Also, it was like pulling teeth to get staff to call in refills for prescriptions.
