I have been filling more prescriptions than I can count every month for two years at CVS. All of the refill dates are staggered, so I see them several times a week. I have always found the staff at CVS very helpful and accommodating, and the pharmacists are available for a quick question ever time I ask.The staff makes the difference; they make a big box store feel like a small corner business.I highly recommend this pharmacy!
I had my first prescription filled there recently but have shopped there for years. I buy make up there whenever its on sale because i can return it if its not the right color. CVS is the only store around that will do that. The pharmacist was very helpful and took his time to explain things and help me. One of the pharmacy assistants was rude and another had a very stuck up attitude. The cashiers and the lady who is in charge of the cosmetics have always been very helpful and polite.
CVS Toccoa is, without question, the highlight of my day when I have the opportunity to go there. I have multiple prescriptions which I get filled by the knowledgeable, compassionate, and beyond friendly pharmacists (Austin and Pete) as well as by their team. Furthermore, I intentionally shop at CVS for a variety of goods that I need (even being a bit more pricey) because I tend to think a place that is centered around health should not sell tobacco products; which the corporate heads phased out of their business a few years ago. To me, this is an ethical practice that needs to be supported... regardless of price.Austin and Pete have, on multiple occasions, stayed later than the scheduled closing time to fill some of my necessary medications. Those actions demonstrate selflessness and a commitment to helping others that many chain pharmacies would not be willing to do. The two of them genuinely care about the population they serve and are willing to go the extra mile.Pharmacists have a notoriously stressful job: long hours, unceasing myriad responsibilities, and folks who believe they deserve to be catered to at a whim’s notice. However, in spite of all that, I have consistently been treated with the utmost consideration and respect every time I have made my way through those doors. The staff within the store itself are also remarkable. They greet nearly every visitor upon entering and they do so with a smile indicating a willingness to help if called upon. In particular, Allison is well worth the interaction. She is sweet, funny, the right amount of sarcastic, and willing to help with any and all requests (plus she wears cool glasses). All this to say, CVS Toccoa, both the pharmacy and the store, is a great business that does an exceptional job at putting people first. They have my business for life :)
Me and my boyfriend went to get makeup for me to do his makeup (dont question it), but while the selection of makeup was vast it was NOT worth the price. They wanted nine dollars for a six dollar priced foundation. The cashier wasnt rude, more tired than anything, but she did ignore us for a few minutes while we were trying to check out as she stocked the candy isle. Overall I still had a pleasant shopping experience and would recommend to anyone close to me.
