I found this Doctor, office and staff to be expert, swift and professional. My experience with North Suburban Medical Center and the associated team of nurses, anesthesiologist and assistants was A+. I can’t imagine a better outcome after surgery and trust this team for all future concerns. I read a selection of the reviews here, and felt compelled to speak up, as Dr. Volin did seem like someone who’s straight-forward, all-business manner could be interpreted as rude, but I liked that he didn’t waste my time. I liked the amount of experience and knowledge he brought to the table.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Volin and his team at Womens Health Group. I happened on them by chance looking through Internet options of doctors for a second opinion. I liked them so well that I switched doctors and could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you to everyone from the front desk to the follow up calls. I am grateful and appreciate all that you do.

This was my first experience with The Women’s Health Group and Dr. Volin. Although there was a long wait prior to seeing the doctor, I still gave 5 stars for the experience as a whole. The entire office works very well together, and the process is very streamlined. Everyone was very kind. Dr. Volin takes his time with his patients and truly listens to their concerns. I feel confident we will solve my health issues together.

Dr. Volin is sincerely one of the most caring doctors. He goes beyond to make his patients feel valued and comfortable. I trust him with my healthcare and my daughters who also go to him at the Womans Health Group.

This guy may be running some sort of scam for Covid testing through Test Direct. Dispute any bill you get from him and encourage your insurance to do the same.Theyre trying to charge for tests I never received, as well as charges that were not discussed upon booking.Theyre trying to charge an office visit for me pulling up outside an abandoned Kmart and getting my nose swabbed by some lab tech.Website says cost for COVID and antibody is $225. COVID only is $180.I only got COVID, no antibody. They did not mention any additional charges and said they accepted my insurance. Insurance says theyre not contracted with them.Theyre billing my insurance $300.00 for the antibody test, $277.00 for an office visit, $100 for the Covid test, $30.00 for materials and staff time, and $30.00 for specimen handling.Youd best believe Ill be reporting you folks to anyone and everyone I can possibly think of and disputing any charges you try and send my way.

This review has nothing to do with the womens practice and Dr Volins ability to treat patients within that practice. It has to do with a review on a Dr that has found a way to scam patients during the Covid crisis. Volin founded a drive up covid testing practice. He has several in Denver metro and Fort Collins, mostly closed K-Mart parking lots. That drive up center charges $737.00 for a COVID test. They bill your insurance that amount. What your insurance may pay is more than they should ever receive for a COVID test. In our case my husband and I and our daughter all had a COVID test. The EOB on myself and my husband shows our insurance paid them $208.66 because we are out of network and our remaining balance is $528.34 x 2. Heres is the breakdown of their charges: $300 for the covid test, $277.00 for a new patient office visit (from your car), (I dont know many males who have office visits with a womans clinic) $100.00 for the probe, $30.00 for additional materials and staff, $30.00 for lab handling. I was told we would not be charged for the remaining balance. Clearly a physician has found a way to make lots of $ off the general public and their insurance in what I consider to be unethical.

I have never written a review before, but today was a pretty important day in my life, and Dr. Volin was a big part of that. I got some potential bad news, and Dr. Volin really put me at ease. My case had some unique, personal details to which he was very sensitive. Dr. Volin was thoughtful, had great bedside manner, and was very professional. I would definitely recommend him.

The dr was rude beyond belief. So condescending. She kept telling me i needed to hurry up and get on having a child because im very old (im going to be 38 this year). I told her i wasnt trying i just wanted to fix my fibroids. She then continued to tell me that since i wasnt dating anyone that i needed to consider a sperm donor. I once again let her know i was not currently try to get pregnant at this time that i just was in to address my fibroids and ovarian cysts. She then kept pounding the issue to me that im old and needed a child. What is it any issue to her?She never even asked if i wanted a child. I will never go back to this office. Ive since found a better ob and am currently having my female issues addressed properly. The front desk staff is also very rude. I let them know i was a new patient checking on for my appointment and was completely ignored untill she was finished having social time with her co workers.

This is the first time ever where the practice was so awful that we were compelled to file a formal complaint to the Colorado Medical Board so that an investigation can take place to help prevent our experience from happening to anyone else. After finding out that we had a miscarriage and continued to bleed excessively - we were told by Volin’s office to go to North Suburban Hospital because that is where he rounded. We ended up going to the ER there twice in 24 hours - both times we were released to go home even though the excessive bleeding did not stop. Neither times at the ER did we see Volin - per ER doctor, Volin was sleeping and they did not want to wake him. We would have expected Volin to see us during the second ER visit so that a D&C could be performed to stop the excessive bleeding. That did not happen. The next morning we went straight to Volin’s office as the bleeding still continued. The receptionist was giving us attitude as I interrupted her social moment with her colleagues at the front desk. “You don’t have an appointment” she remarked as my wife was literally bleeding out in the waiting area and turning ghost pale. When she realized the magnitude of the situation, we were eventually taken back to finally see Volin. Our momentary relief of finally being seen by the OB doctor was quickly dashed when we met Volin in the hallway as we were guided to the room. With an inappropriate smirk on his face, his first statement to me was “welcome to Colorado” as he knew we recently just moved here from Texas. I was baffled. We just lost a baby via miscarriage, experienced incompetent staff at North Suburban, wife is literally bleeding out - and the first thing that comes out of his mouth is a sarcastic “welcome to Colorado ”. I don’t know if this clown thought he was being funny or did he profile us as a couple of ignorants and thought he can say whatever came to his mind. After berating us for leaving the hospital - which we were sent home by the incompetent staff at North Suburban- he explained that he needed to do a D&C there in the office. I was told to leave the room - leaving my wife, Volin, and his nurse. I felt uneasy leaving leaving my wife alone by complied so they could take care of her.I was called back to the room after the D&C was completely. I found my wife curled up in the fetal position crying out “it hurt it hurt”. She was white as a ghost. “He yelled at me ‘to grit my teeth’ when I told him I was feeling all the pain during the D&C”. I was in utter shock as I listen to my wife recount the verbal abuse she received from Volin as he conducted the D&C:“Why did you twitch?!? You know these are sharp surgical tools, do you want to get cut! You better stay still!” - Volin yelled“This is going to hurt! You better grit your teeth!” - Volin yelledThe verbal abuse and sadistic orders that Volin barked at my wife as she was in agonizing pain was not only unacceptable but immorale conduct that is completely unbecoming of a professional who hold a medical license.Post D&C, Volin and staff tried to rush us out. As my wife was still in agonizing pain and weak from all the additional blood loss of the D&C, the nurse told my wife to try to get up. As she attempted to get up, her eyes rolled back and she fainted. I was never so scared in my life.Volin casually struts in and says “she looks pale - yeah she lost a lot of volume”. And turns around and leaves. I was completely shocked that the OB doctor had nothing else to offer except a flippant comment. At this point I would have expected them to send us straight to the hospital for proper follow up. My wife was given a juice box and we were sent home. The drive home was surreal - we could barely fathom the nightmare that just occurred in Volin’s office. As a nurse herself, my wife was completely traumatized by the experience and to this day is still suffering from PTSD.
