This school was hell on earth... bullying, paranoia, and just awful learning environments... I’m glad they’re gone for good

If I could give this school a negative star, I would in a heartbeat. This school is the reason why I refuse to learn Spanish because of how the people treated me. @no_bacon I agree with you. Granted some people went there longer than just 2 years, but I couldnt do it anymore. I was about to get suspended for standing up to the newest kid, who didnt speak any Spanish. I was getting bullied from day one, so it didnt bother me much. Once they were bullying someone else, I had it and almost punched a girl older than me.

I go to this school for 2 years now and so far its not great at all...Parent if you love your child dont send them here i hear that a teacher touch a boy or girl and was giving the child the teacher touch a gift to not tell her parents at the end of the school ear the little girl/boy told there parents and the mom went to tell the principal but she wouldnt listen so she told the police and the school might get shut down DONT GO HERE KID!

I attended this school for 4 miserable years and I can tell you if your kid doesn’t speak Spanish then they do not care about you at all. My cousin and I went here and we both only spoke English (we both speak two languages now, and not from this school) and every day the kids and staff would make fun of us in Spanish, so my cousin moved but I couldn’t afford to move so I stayed and the second year I had a good friend who spoke Spanish and translated everything for me and even what the teachers said about me some of the thing then said about me are as followed “ stupid American student” and “the dumb white student that doesn’t speak Spanish” and that’s the not so offensive ones (Not all teachers were like this) and by my third year I had even more depression then I had a few years prior (my brother passed away before I started attending the school) and the new/old principle was extremely racist towards me and had a “assembly” (forced us all to stop eating lunch and listen to him) and claimed “bulling was bad For Mexicans, but our white brother over there *pointed at me* can handle bullying” and whenever i got into a argument/fight with another student I would get in trouble and the other kid wouldn’t, Parents DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS ATTEND THIS HORRIBLE SCHOOL, the teachers don’t teach they just have the students on computers the whole time and my story of the painful 4 years at this school are so much longer but this is a good enough reason for you to not send your kids there

This school slipped ong,gotta wear them ulgy uniforms and pay a dollar to wear your OWN clothes lol.Just gotta do better.

My son went here for kindergarten. He didnt speak spanish and he would cone home and tell me he cant understand them because they wound suraj spanish most of the time. The clothing rule is a bit rediculous and they wouldnt help me much to get new jackets or anything for him to replace the one teacher he had left mid year she was nice but after i had no idea what he was doing or learning. And he was always in the office for something rediculous. Hes a hyper little boy and needed to bounce his legs around... We moved him right after the school year.

I am a student in Renewal and I have been there for four years and it has been a great experience. Having new friends and teachers has been really awesome and it is a life changing school

This school is a joke and should be shut down. The money that is getting funded for this school should stop as its a waste, based on its failures to the kids that go there. This should be against the law. Parents wake up and make sure you know the kind of education your child is getting or it will be to late and your kids will have to pay the price. This is school needs to shut down before it ruins hundreds of kids education/lives!! Disgusting!

I went here for one year and it was just awful. Much rather recommend a great school like DSST GVR or Strive, do not send your kids to this school, it is not well funded and they will not learn much

I am the former campus director and i can tell you, this is not the place you want to send your kids. If I was you, I would turn around and take your children out immediately. They have 6th graders that have been attending for 4 years, still reading at a 2nd grade level.

**PLEASE READ** I have 4 kidos that attend this school. Theres many problems from not calling to let you know your childs not in school to safety issues. Renewal academy was ok for the 1st year. The teachers are kids them selves and have a hard time helping the kids adjust to the COMPUTER learning. Weve had several issues that should have been attended to ASAP and we were brushed away evertime with the school saying well look into it or start an investigation. But nothing seems to get handled!!! Guess when its kids dealing with kids its kinda hard to find the right person to handle the schooling issues. WILL NOT be placing my kids here next year!!!!!!

I dont like this school its gay af,the teachers dont know how to control us and they dont teach us anything.our teacher is basically a computer. The teachers basically babysit us we are on the computers all day and dont even learn nothing.dont go to this school.
