I have used Senior Care Authority twice in the last year, the first time to find an assisted living for Mom and just recently a memory care. I cant say enough about how helpful Brandy Randolph was to me both times. She gave me so much insight into different facilities, their pros and cons, things I would never have been able to find out by looking all on my own. She narrowed down the field by finding out my preferences, set up tour appointments and accompanied me if I wanted her to. Brandy really knows her stuff and was invaluable in helping me make such an important decision that would have been overwhelming. She knew which facilities would be more willing to work with difficult dementia behaviors and not just make me move her again. She went at whatever pace I needed; when it came to looking for memory care I was in a hurry so we toured 10 places in about 3-4 days. It was a lot but she helped me stay focused on the aspects most important to me. When Mom needed to go into assisted living, she had a cat and Brandy quickly weeded out all the places that didnt accept pets. That was an easy one but still saved me a ton of phone calls as that information is not necessarily available on facilities websites.I highly recommend Brandy to anyone needing to find a place for their loved one. Its free to you and there is absolutely NO reason to try to do it all on your own. Shes a wonderful asset during what is invariably a difficult time and a huge decision.
