I have a physical scheduled with Dr Vaughn for next week. She asked me to come in a week before to get blood drawn. I booked the appt with the receptionist to have it drawn today at 8. I arrived at 7:50 today and waited until 8:30 to get called back. No big deal. But when I went to get my blood drawn, there were no orders. I was then asked to go back to waiting room and wait for the Dr to put them in. I waited until 8:55 and finally got up to ask what is taking so long. Dr Vaughn was then informed of no orders and she went to her computer to put them in. As if 9:10, I was still waiting and decided to leave. There never an apology from any of the staff. They only said “that I should have called to make sure they were ordered”. They put the blame on me who had an appointment. Don’t ever go there. Terrible staff and no empathy for their screw up.

My adult daughter has been severely ill for several days. Her PC is Dr Vedala who of course ordered COVID test which came back negative for both rapid and PCR. She is still very ill today even after visiting the ER last night and when she called the Sterling Ridge location to get an appointment they flat out refused because her symptoms are to COVID like even though her file shows negative tests. Their solution is to send her to ER again. This makes no sense to me to overwhelm the ER even further when you have a group of Drs that should be treating everything else.Good luck to anyone trying to get an appointment to been seen in person, they wont see anyone right now.

I think the medical staff so far is very professional. The place is very neat and nice. The only dark spot is a young lady ( Miranda) who was really unpleasant, unprofessional and not showing any willingness to do her job, and being extremely rude while working. I was told that there was not any supervisor to talk about the situation and she “had personal reasons to act in that way”.In the referral area, Uriel and Jennifer are really good guys while Sandra denied helping in our need of a referral at all. Supervision of employees is required because patients are being treated poorly. There is not way to get my husbands lab test results. I called again and Sandra left me on the phone forever. She again did not help. Why she does that? Does she not receive any payment? Or is she any volunteer who is just causing bad image to this place? Is there any way to talk to somebody here in this place?

All the other reviews about bad staff are correct. If being able to communicate with anyone via the phone this place is not for you. NEVER answer the phone. NEVER return calls. Im currently seeing Dr. Vedala now for a minor issue. I have no problem with her, but when Im over this, I will be looking for a new place. Cant stand a doctors office that never returns calls. This office staff sucks.

Ive seen Dr. Vedela for years now and, while I love her, I do not love my experiences with the staff and her medical assistant since having joined Memorial Hermann. Ill call and NEVER get to speak to anyone- just the answering machine. According to the recorded message, calls are supposed to be returned withing 24-48 hours, but often they arent returned at all. Several times, Ive had to forgo speaking with the medical assistant and just make an appointment. Apparently, this is how Memorial Hermann prefers to handle patient care. Its disheartening.

NP Staci Bell and the other ladies helping me after I almost fainted from getting blood drawn took very good care of me to make sure I was okay. They made sure I was in good condition before letting me go home.

I never had a bad experience as a patient here. Dr. Batista has shown me compassion and was very thorough with my evaluation. I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends.

I had a terrible experience with this clinic, I called to fix appointment as I was very sick and the first thing asked is about the outstanding payment and for which the check has already been sent to their cardio department. The staff refused to even check on the appointment availability before giving the details of the outstanding amount details, I do not think this is the way a sick person needs to be treat and after being with this group for almost 5 years and having a clean track record for payments.

I was a patient of Dr, Vadala only for an emergency referral. I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon to cast a broken wrist before my move to New York. 3 weeks later, my insurance company and referral company told me dr, vadala could submit a referral for a ortho in New York. 3 weeks of leaving voicemails to her medical assistant, no calls back. It has been 8 weeks with a cast. I called today to see if they could help me with a referral. I mentioned i am unemployed and can not afford a $50 co pay for a referral when dr vadala can help me submit one. The medical assistant was SO RUDE. Dr vadala is not willing to help me when i am completely helpless. I am an unemployed bartender and no one is hiring me because of my cast. I mentioned this to them and they said “too bad she’s not helping you” this is extremely sad. Karma is coming for all of them. I provided the doctor, name number and address, all she needed was to make a call. They are heartless.

No compassion and rude staff. Called office WELL before my appointment because I had trouble finding office, I was very close. The receptionist was nice and guided me by phone to their office. I walked in 5 minutes past my appt time. I signed in and waited 20 minutes before they called me up, they said that because I was 5 minutes late, that the Dr has refused to see me. I explained that I was on the phone with them having trouble finding office, the receptionist laughed and said that the Dr will not see me. Why didnt they tell me this when they directed me there by phone? Why didnt they tell me before my 20 minute wait in their waiting room? I was telling my neighbor about the bad experience there, and she said it sounded very similar to an experience she had. We then discovered she had a similar problem with Dr Hunter about a year ago. She of course fired Dr Hunter, and we will be doing the same. I had waited months for Dr Hunter to see me, with a medical concern and this is how she treats clients. My neighbor said Dr Hunter was a very mediocre dr, and is a very conventional Dr. - Dont let the D. O. title fool you, she is just a typical MD who treats symptoms, youre in and out and thats it.

After reading other reviews, I agree that Memorial Hermann Sterling Ridge does not provide quality care. I saw Dr. Batista and she spent over 30 minutes doing data entry on her laptop in the exam room. When it came time to address my concerns, she pointed to her watch and said - times up you can come back in 4 weeks.

The medical assistant is terrible at her job. I always have to leave a voicemail, after no response, I follow-up and she acts like she has no clue as to what I am talking about. She never follows through.

The staff is rude. If you call, you are on hold upwards of 10 minutes. Calls will not ever be returned. My medical history had to be given to them 3 times, their system changed more than once on one year. Could never get an appointment with my doctor.
