Not only did Elaine greet me with a pure joy smile, she was fast and efficient and even thanked me for offering to help bag my groceries. She was pleasant the entire time. Cant get good hearted employees like this these days. May you get a raise or some appreciation back from the store manager. You go above n beyond. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Commendable! There was a rude person who was insistent to talk on their cellphone using the speaker while in the checkout line. Another person ask them to be considerate but the cellphone person was persistent and ended up being vulgar. Commendable to the person who challenged the rude person and to the employees and store manager.

I have not been in Bashas for a few years. This was a really nice store. About half way to the high end AJs. Prices were good, and the selection of beer was fantastic. Produce was fresh and a very good price. Meat department had some good deals the staff was very friendly and helpful. We found a lot there and liked it. We sure miss the store by our home. The deli is very nice.

Their donuts, red velvet, and cream puffs are one of the best in grocery stores.

If I could leave negative stars I would.....first off the one sushi worker.....is not very hygienic, I love sushi and had it in my hand ready to purchase, but changed mind after seeing her scratch every part of her body then not wash her hands. Ill stick to buying my sushi at Frys

Hey, theres probably a reason youre not the #1, #2, #3, or even the #4 grocery chain in the valley. Details. Nobody from your management thought to update your hours on Google My Biz for Christmas Day. Google contacted me as the administrator of my business account to update my hours for the holiday and Im sure they contacted you too. But someone was too lazy to take 2 seconds to reflect you are closed today (Dec 25th) and I drove all the way here to shop. Ive seen in the 5 minutes Ive been sitting here plenty of other would be customers drive up, realize Google wasnt updated and that your store was in fact closed today and leave.Sloppy business. And as far as Im concerned after a horrible environment for business this year, nobody can AFFORD to shut down for Xmas. Everyone should be OPEN and ready to take in revenue today, but the whole city is closed. Dont expect people to feel sorry for you when you dont even go the extra mile to help yourself, or at a minimum - update your hours so we dont drive needlessly and waste OUR holiday.Dont worry, we wont be back, ever. Enjoy your dinner.

I love my crew here at this bashas. They are so friendly and are like family. Sometimes prices are a little high but I always find everything I need. Love how they have fresh sushi and rolls!

Im pretty pleased with this store. There was so much to see and choose from.They have a deli section that comes with a salad bar, a pharmacy, huge product section, and aisles upon aisles of other grocery items. Much more variety than what you would see at Frys or Safeway.Everything was fresh, and I even spotted some good deals. For example, the berries were pretty cheap at 2 for $5. I also saw some cool snacks that I havent seen elsewhere, for example- the flavored pecans.I also like that there werent many people milling about either, so it made it easier to push my cart in and out of the aisles and I got in and out of there in no time. The lady who checked me out was friendly, and being that I didnt have my shoppers card, she scanned the code on her register so I could get the discount.Love it. Ill have to remember to come visit again!

I love to support local businesses, but Basha’s just doesn’t make the grade anymore. It seems like a convenience store and they rarely have the items I need. It’s a shame, as they used to be one of the better markets in the Phoenix area.

Bashas best be looking great seeing they are far from being a discounted supermarket. Yet its always a good visit and everything always looks fresh and inviting. Not my go to supermarket, but its enjoyable when I do, theyve done a lot of upgrades over the past few years. The workers are people friendly from all of my experiences.

Good location for this Bashas in Tempe. Quiet and not busy at all. Its enjoyable to shop here. One thing, though, you should carry more local and/or organic products. This is why I dont do my full grocery shopping here. It serves my business well.

I have shopped at Bashas for years and never had a complaint. How ever, on July 4th I picked up a tray of sandwiches which were very unsatisfactory. I paid $60 for them the croissants were stale and some looked as if there had been sat on. Some of the sandwiches had very little meat and there was so much moisture in the bottom of the tray that they were nearly inedible. I was very disappointed and will.not be ordering from the deli again.

This Basha’s is one of the best in the valley. It has wide, organized aisles clearly labeled to find what I needed. Coming from California the prices seemed crazy cheap. I always stock up on long term pantry supplies to haul back to LA.The cashier was super friendly and he scanned a guest card so I could get the bargains without having to give up personal information.Best of all, they had covered parking spots to shield my car from the blazing Tempe sun. How nice is that? Good deals and a cool car. I will definitely be back here.

If this store were a little closer to my house, I would be a regular here. It is always a little quieter than most other grocery stores. I can run in and run out with little to no lines at the registers. The staff is helpful if you cant find something. Produce has always been great.

Ive been to the DELI at this location multiple times hoping my experience will get better. It does not! It gets worse! Same employee too. I ask for 2 pounds of pepperoni and it takes over 20 minutes to get!! On top of that I get given & charged for the more expensive item and there is the casing paper still stuck in it (found out when I was serving it to my small kids and they were eating it). The other employee with her was not much better giving me cheese that was at minimum 12 slices to a sheet all smashed together. I had tiny pieces by time I was able to separate them. She was also the one who told the other girl to give me the more expensive brand of meat too. I was very patient and in no way rude at all waiting the whole time with my 2 young children. This was again, another horrible experience!! These employees either need to be retrained, moved to another department or just fired! They seemed to hate their jobs anyway. Like I said, this has happened multiple times and Ive had enough!!

So I know I shouldve done this as soon as I got my cake but I didnt sorry! So I just want to say that the bakery here is amazing! Flor which Im not sure shes still there or not did such an amazing job with my baby shower cake last year.. I went to sooooo many places and no one was able to accomplish what I wanted done. However Bashas bakery did!!!!! Thank you so much🤗🤗🤗🎂🎂.....

I feel like Everytime I come here I have a mediocre experience. Its not great its not bad. The prices are a little high. Its hard to find someone of you need help locating something.

The employees here are excellent! BUT, on more than one occasion, Ive bought expired food which has led me to stop shopping at this location. Then olive/cheese bar has gone rancid, and make sure to check your dressing expiration dates. I used to get pizzas here every Friday, but the pizza oven is unpredictable and needs to be serviced. The employee attempting multiple times, my pizzas kept coming out burned.

One of the nicest Bashas around. They have a very nice deli section with an area to eat your lunch. The bakery is always the best out of the major grocery stores and the staff here is particularly polite.

We ordered a picture cake for my daughter who had ASU orientation this weekend and it was yummy. The cake decorator had gone to ASU herself and could not have done e a better job. Thank you

High prices, had a small cup of menudo that whomever made it left the fat attached it was flavorful but impossible to eat. They do however have some of the best meats around.

Like this store. Friendly people fresh vegetables. When they have a sale be sure to stock up.

Shout out to the Bakery here that just made an amazing, beautiful, and delicious custom cake for my sons birthday! Dinosaurs were not in their catalog, but the decorator offered to customize her decorations if I just brought in the dinosaur figures. I gave her an idea of what I was looking for, and for their regular standard price we recieved a beautiful custom cake!(I posted a pic in the gallery)My lil guy was so excited and happy when he saw it! It tasted amazing too, and several of our guests commented on it! Thank you all SO much for making my sons cake with love!

This is a somewhat more upscale Bashas location. They actually have covered parking for customers in front of the store. That seems unusual to me but, at the same time, is a nice touch.

This store is my favorite Bashas. With the recent remodel, they added sushi to their deli and they are made fresh. The sushi rolls are better than the ones I get at restaurants. Its so convenient to grab a few rolls for dinner and even lunch for the next day. The Hawaiian rolls with salmon and avocado are delicious if you like or love poki. The spring rolls also hit the spot if you dont feel like having rice and nori. More pictures to come as I try the rolls :-)

Very disappointing as I couldnt order my Grandsons birthday cake as they quit taking orders because of the busy holidays . He loves the whipped frosting on a marble cake and even asked for that to be his only present. Poor little lad cant help his birthday falls on New Years Eve. And I asked the girl I spoke to on the phone if they had one already made in the bakery she abruptly told me no .Shame on Bashas !!

Amazing place for there$20 meat selection.

Covered parking is a very nice way to introduce this Bashas. Im leaving a review for more of the staff than anything. I wasnt to happy to see and employee in the parking lot driving through it and nearly hitting my car. He than parked between two spots leaving me to park weird because he didnt want to move. This vehicle was a Black Dodge SUV very heavy set man with goatee and white T-shirt. This employee decided it was a good idea to change his clothing in the parking lot as well. Seems kind of weird to change out in public even if it is just a shirt. He made no attempt to apologize for his sporadic behavior or the fact that he parked in two spots just walked into work.

The store is ok, kinda high price items but thats all Bashas.This 1 star is for the food they serve.Gold Canyon has a lot of places that serve bad food, and there over the counter cafeteria style section fits right in the category.Dont get me wrong, some days its ok to eat a few items (Corn Dogs, Mac And Cheese/beef). But other days they just burn or over cook the items, like the frys , Burnt, non edible. Maybe its just the staff being lazy. Would be great if it was good due to the price.Guess you pay for what you get.
