Absolutely wonderful! I had a horrible toothache and wasn’t sure what I was going to do, Donna and Dr. Gonzalez were incredible. They worked on my care and fixed me right up.

Dr. Gonzalez and her dental assistants are simply amazing! My son had to have a tooth pulled at another dental office and they treated him horribly. It was very painful for him and we knew we weren’t going back. Unfortunately, he needed more dental work, so we tried the community health centers in Tavares. The experience here was over and beyond delightful. The staff were all patient and kind! They went over and beyond to make my son feel comfortable, although I believe what seemed as “over and beyond” to me was just them being them. I’m so very thankful to have found this wonderful group of people. Also, the facility is very clean and spacious in the lobby sitting area. CDC Covid guidelines are practiced perfectly!

I was a little hesitant about using Community Health Tavares at first because I associated it with the county Health Departments. I assumed —wrongly— that we wouldn’t be treated kindly or respectfully. However, we were having issues with our insurance plan and subsequently dropped. CHC was a two minute drive from our house and have payment plans/sliding scale. They also offer dental services, so I figured why not kill two birds with one stone. Let me tell you: I’m so glad I took a chance with them! All the employees are kind and helpful, the wait time is usually reasonable, and every room I’ve seen has been extremely clean. I’ve continued to use them even after getting our insurance reinstated.Dr. Alicia Coonce is, by far, the best pediatrician I’ve taken my children to. She is energetic and fun, great with kids of all ages (I have a 15 year old and a 4 year old), and very thorough! She caught my preschooler’s mild scoliosis very early during a routine checkup.Their dental department is also one of the best I’ve experienced. The dentists are great, but the tech is fantastic! She is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and she makes the kids feel so at ease.I would absolutely recommend this CHC to anyone looking for a pediatrician and/or pediatric dentist. You won’t be disappointed!

For emergency dental appointment they have you waiting 2 hours before you can see the dentist if you have an appointment that’s crazy when they give you a time to come why give an appointment if they not on time just sad

Dr.Milian is a great physician. Definitely a good fit for the office. I started with the Tavares CHC after relocating to the area. At the time I had no insurance. I have always recieved top notch care from the doctor, pharmacist and staff. I continued at the center even when I got insurance. I have been a patient for 8 years. I highly recommend this center.

Dr. Coonce was exceptional, as was the nurse who took our intake form. Every question I had in regards to my newborn was answered clearly, concisely, and without hesitation. I never felt that I as being spoken down to, that my concerns were taken seriously, and that Dr. Coonce was very knowledgeable and attentive in her care.Our nurse (whose name I didnt manage to catch, unfortunately) was both very tender and quick when it came time for vaccination shots. I would highly recommend the pediatrics at this clinic; Im very glad I came here and intend to have every following appointment made here moving forward.

If i could give this place negative stars i would. so unorganized and wait time is outrageous. my daughter was not able to see her brother in the NICU cause they had no records of her being seen there when we went to all her well checks when she was born. horrible customer service. way too big of a practice to offer proper customer service. i call my current pediatrician and get an answer right away. do not go here, please find somewhere else 😫

Dr. Gonzalez and her team are the best. They’re always very nice and professional. The office is always clean and appointment are always scheduled in a timely manner.

Dentist for my son surprised me... Assistant dentist doesnt use gloves even she opened instruments for Dentist and then was on the computer. Second my son was told to swallow 3 times his fluoride!!! Because instruments to swallow was not working or they didnt want to use it!Very upset!My son almost vomited there...Adding my son was inside for a cleaning and dentist exam with fluoride for 1 hour and 15 minutes!Bad experience on a Kids specialist dentist that service used to be acceptable.

Very rude and wait till you show up to the appointment to tell you you need to call and get the provider charged, which then made me late to my appointment even though I was here 15 before! Very frustrating

Do not try to get these people on the phone unless you have a lot of time and the patience of a saint.
