July 27, 2021 - Website says it’s open but it’s not. Typical government incompetence = bad review. August 25, 2021 - Tried unsuccessfully for five months to submit the required documentation to ensure my husband and daughters continued coverage. Did it electronically; via fax that was confirmed; drove to Taunton to submit by hand, but it was closed; called multiple times and talked to General Applications, Customer Service, Eligibility, Over 65 Applications, Under 65 Applications (two separate data bases); received five letters confirming my husbands coverage as well as letters requesting documentation that Id already submitted multiple times or his coverage would be terminated. FINALLY spoke to Michelle in Taunton and she fixed the problem in under a minute. So, despite the slog thru an unwieldy process, I am still a satisfied customer thanks to Michelle and her manager, Amy. My advice is to keep calling until you are speaking to someone in Taunton!

Was given a deadline.. need an extension and can’t get a hold of anyone. I hope my insurance and my sons doesn’t get paused or cancelled. I don’t know how to get in touch with any enrollment center. I’ve tried numerous times. Every time a rep transfers me to enrollment, it hangs up. I even tried calling individual locations like Taunton for example and no answer!!!!

I only had 1 person ahead of me in line & when I approached the desk, I tried to explain why I was there & had what I thought was a really easy question that could get answered & Id be able to just drop off my paperwork & be done?! No! That wasnt the case with the lady behind the counter snapping at me to fill out a few spots on a few different papers, sign & initial in some other places. She flipped through the pages so quickly I couldnt remember where I was to do what since I didnt have to completely fill out all the pages?! When I tried clarifying what she told me she just snapped & said she wasnt supposed to even be helping me since they close at 5pm! I looked at their clock on the wall & it was only 4:05pm & since I had such a minute question that I was sure she couldve just answered if she gave me the time of day so I got steaming mad! I couldve understood if it was maybe 4:45pm & thats when they check in the last person or at 4pm if its someones 1st time there & would require more time but that was far from my case! Maybe they should consider putting up a sign with the times for last person checked in at & make sure those are the actual hours instead of whats listed for hours now! But once I finally figured out where 2 sign & handed in my clipboard & pen, I only sat waiting maybe 5 minutes before someone came out for me & took me back into an office & pulled my account up in her computer. I was there with a question on my recertification & since it was right before closing on a Friday she assured me it would be processed the following week & I wouldnt have any gap in my coverage. That was exactly the case! Their waiting room is divided up for those with baby carriages facing the center of the room & on the opposite side of the room facing back is the section for everyone else. Its not like that whole 6 of air makes a difference when it comes to the sound of a crying baby but it does help for the line coming in the door. Also, you dont want to smoke or use any tobacco at all anywhere in or out of the building including parking lot & since theres a security guard sitting in the corner at all times if you did break any rules Im sure hed notify the woman at the counter & decide your fate & probably would kick you out! No appointments necessary either so its basically 1st come 1st served depending on what youre there for so dont be surprised if someone that came in after you gets taken before you! ☆GOOD LUCK!☆

I was charged twice for the same payent the same day of $89.00 . I was overdrafted in my account. Ive called 5 times since Monday the 25th to get this resolved but no call back. A empoyee by the name of Santhia and employee # 1652 said she opened a claim but to find out didint and gave me a fake confirmation # as well. The next day the lady was nice and opened a claim while my account stays negative with another overdraft. Why do I have to wait 5days to find out nothing and still have no money returned to my account by there mistakes. I keep getting the run around and no case member to call me back and no money for food

I am really surprised with all of the negative reviews. From start to finish, I had a great experience here. Maybe going in is whats best! I was seen right away, and Crystal was incredibly helpful and extremely nice.Its not easy dealing with the public, but the staff encountered, at this location, were truly great.

I have never been into the centers - who has time when youre on hold for hours? I have attempted to call and handle a simple renewal for a week and a half now. The first time I called the Health Connector, as directed. I was on hold for 2 hours and was finally able to fill out the application. I should have known it was too easy.As I qualify, I was then directed to phone MassHealth to talk to someone about my plan and choose my PCP. I am now on call number 3 with MassHealth. The first time I tried to call, I was on hold for an hour and then had to go to work. The second time I tried to call, it was 3:15pm. At 5:43pm I realized that the offices had closed at 5 and that they must have all just left, leaving anyone on the phones to just hang there. I am now on the phone with MassHealth for the third time. I have been on hold for approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes.I just need to pick my primary care. This is ludicrous.I have filed a complaint with the Governors office.

We had great experience when visited DTA Tounton. From start to finish we received good service. Enrollment process was very quick and easy and staff were very pleasant.

Well, I wouldnt say its the most fun thing to do... I despise the waiting when I FIRST call. And sometimes my representative is hard to understand, but nine out of ten times, my problems are taken care of, my questions are answered... I really am shocked to see such negative experiences when all Ive been experiencing is a job well done. They get busy. High call rates... Would you rather just blame them and have no solution to your issue? I for one would not. Good just, MassHealth. Just hire more people so I dont have to wait so long.....

I’ve found that your best bet is to visit in person. When you call, you’re often on hold a long time and sometimes disconnected. I’ve always received good service at the Taunton office. I was just there today and they really tried to help me with a complicated issue. Nobody has ever treated me rudely.

Im just TRYING TO GET HELP! Trying to remain positive and patient. Expect to wait 20 minutes for someone who cant help fully but can help transfer you to someone who can. By then youll be waiting another 30 minutes for an agent/representative. Expect to be waiting an hour or more, transfers because the first person you talk to wont help, and inconsistency on deliverance of quality customer service. Every time I call there is an inconsistent.

My daughter social security was mix with another persons every time I try to get her prescription we can because it come back on the other girl insurance the worst part is the other child is in dcf service and went I call for information on my child is not my child in there récord I’m so stressed out I went in person provided all documents such as birth certificate social security and picture ID and nothing has been done. I need a answer how the mix social security ?????

If was able to, I would rate 5 negative stars. When I was reading the previous reviews I thought that is not possible everybody has negative reviews and I went to this place to solve my problem in person. Regrettably everybody is right. This place sucks and the person who talked to me is a non-knowledgeable employee. I drove 60 miles for nothing. By phone is impossible to solve anything. Bad State Administration.

The customer service is the worst Ive ever have to deal with. I was on hold for one hour and they just hang up after one hour holding. I try to reach the customer service 4 days in a row, several times during the day and every time my estimated wait time is more than 30 minutes, and then they automatically transfer to call back center, it means that they never call you back. If they dont answer when you call them, do you think they ever call you back? And you have to wait 2-4 business days to receive a call back. IT MEANS NEVER...

Sat on the phone from 8:30am to 11am..Got transferred 5 times! Hung up on 3 times!!! No one can help me out. I just need to add a member and it is taking all f***ing day! I have two kids to take care of cant sit on the phone all day getting transferred because they dont know how or dont want to do their job.

Worst experience ever!!! Representatives speak poor English, chewing food and laughing with their coworkers while with costumer!! The annual Masshealth renewal Procedures takes insane effort and hours of wasted time on the phone just to update household info.Every time I called it took me over 30 min to get live representative and they acted like they first time hear about Masshealth, seriously! Then they put you on hold for a brief moment and -simply hang up!! They are simply careless about your medical coverage!What a shame!!!

Worst health insurance. Poor service. They lost all my paperwork two times. “Forgot” to enroll me in the program i already chose and paid for, and then asked me to pay for 3 months to be “reinstated”. Have been dealing with them with NO health insurance since last October...to no fault of my family own. My next step will be to contact the state rep if I go in in person and it can’t be resolved.

THIS LOCATION GETS 4 STARS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE EXCELLENT STAFF...Big Parking Lot, With Hardly Any Spaces Available ...Cramped Lobby Filled With Upset & Confused People. Lots Of Communist Bumper Stickers.

They keep on transfering from one person to the other, until one loses patience and gives up. Also, was told the case would be expedited and would receive an answer in 5 business days. Well.... more than 12 business days and no answer!!!! Worse department!

Horrible! HORRIBLE!!! I have worked in customer service for over ten years and never have had the experience of dealing with folks quite like this. Its 2017, a phone hold for more than 10 minutes is insane. Not to mention the operators will hang up on you mid conversation, talk over you, or you will be disconnected after waiting an hour on hold.

They keep needing more and more paperwork. You send it in now they want something else. They cant read basic English, seem uneducated in higher English usage, that every college kid knows. ..they are unorganized, uninformed and you need an attorney to get things done

Every time I would call, they would say it was a 20 minute wait time and i would end up being on hold for 1-1.5 hours with no answer. Poor customer service. Requesting a callback got me a callback on a saturday, 4 days after I called and they ended up not doing anything to help because the department I needed to get transferred to wasnt working on Saturdays. WHY CALL ME ON A SATURDAY IF MOST DEPARTMENTS ARENT WORKING THEN????

Service is more than poor, there are multiple operators who send you from department to department with each department unaware of what the other is doing leading to increased lapses in coverage, loss of insurance and increased wait time regarding attendance at medically necessary appointments for preventive and imminent care
