Don’t waste your time with this place. Horrible experience every time. Do yourself a favor, find yourself a dr office that offers more of personalized care and attention. This place is all about the money, they don’t return calls, never answer messages, they are against you being proactive regarding your care.

Horrible place! I have an appointment at 2pm today, and the lab technician left at 2pm. He called me at 11am saying I can come early but I told him I need to work and my appointment is not until 2pm. Then he said on just come any time afternoon. Then the receptionist told me I had to fast in order to do my blood work...and my pcp told me it is a non-fasting blood work. Thanks TGH for wasting my time!!!!!

Have been going here for a couple years now. For anything such as getting all my nursing school vaccines to my regular check ups, Dr. Castro and the nurses there have been great. I’ve been there probably over 10 times in the past year to be compliant for my nursing vaccines and have rarely had to wait for my appointment. Very quick and Dr. Castro is a great doctor with a silly sense of humor to lighten the mood and spends time with you to answer any questions/concerns you have which I really enjoy. I was nervous finding a new doc after moving down here a few year ago but was very happy they were recommended to me👍

The entire staff and doctors are so friendly and welcoming. You will feel safe and cared for in their hands. Highly recommend!

Horrible service. Your primary physician wont be available for 2-3 weeks even when you are sick. There wont be any sick appointment available. I asked for ENT referral and doctor wont even send you. They couldnt care less about patients, its all business and money making machine for them.

I recently moved from NY and needed to find a new PCP. I searched and found TGMG was close to my home. I chose Dr. Ray. I can tell you that even though there was a wait, which I was fine with, EVERYONE that I came in contact with was AMAZING! Once youre in the room with Dr. Ray, she made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered to her and her staff! Everyone was so friendly and personable. Something that lacks with many doctors these days. I would absolutely recommend this group! Thank you for a pleasurable experience at the doctors office!!

I used to see Dr.Merrit who was amazing!!! Today I saw Dr. Ray. Not a fan. First, I can’t stand when doctors are late. Mind you, I’m a nurse and totally get delays but as I was waiting in the front to be called for my appt I heard the receptionist tell a patient who was scheduling her appt that Dr.Ray tends to run behind so toPlan accordingly. Ok well, then this is a Chronic problem with her. Second, after waiting 50 minutes to be seen by her I was left very unimpressed with her skills. For a physical, she never listens to my hearts and lungs, she asked me if my kidneys hurt after she tapped them yet she was tapping my upper back... if you know anything about medicine you know your kidneys are in your lower back and that’s were you assess them. Also, she didn’t assess my mouth because of Covid.... I don’t have COVID, she had on 2 masks (totally unnecessary) and a shield.... oh and she refused to shake my hand because of COVID.... it’s called hand washing.In addition she focused on having my picture retaken for my chart because I lost weight and because I looked happier back then.... well I’m wearing a mask so you can’t see if I’m smiling or not, second I’ve been waiting for you 50 min past my appt time, third you just kind of insulted me soooo yeah.To say I’m displeased is an understatement. My search continues for another provider.

I absolutely love Dr. Ray. She has been my doctor for about two years and she is always super sweet and caring. She is very good at treating any of my issues. I love that I can schedule online too!

The doctor we saw here was amazing. She left no stone unturned. She made me feel comfortable and I wasnt even the patient. My longtime girlfriend loves her as well.

This place is horrible. I had relay bad stomach problem and I worked in and had an appointment. The reception women said only available 3pm tomorrow. So I went to next day 2:30pm women said I don’t have any appointment your appointment was 1:00pm.We don’t have any available today also tomorrow. They even didn’t say sorry it was then miss talk also said have a nice day!I can’t believe these people. I am patient and I’m sick. I definitely not recommend this place. Also my husband went to other day some Indian women doctor try give wrong medicine.These place is sick

Great doctor, and quick turnaround on appointment times. If you’ve ever been up north you can expect to wait 4 weeks to sometimes 3 months for an appointment. He gets you in within the week.

I saw Dr. Merritt today and he is a very great doctor. I can tell he is very caring and wants what is best for me. He is very knowledgeable and I recommend if you are looking for a great doctor see Dr. Merritt.

Good luck getting in if you’re sick anymore. Appointments are impossible to get when you need it. Instead you’re pushed back days. :( this used to be the best place to go.

Usually I have to wait a while, but Ive never been to a doctor where there wasnt a wait. Thats just how it is at doctors offices... I have often had to schedule same day appointments and they are often available, which is huge. Both Dr. Castro and Dr. Merritt are pleasant and knowledgeable. Theyve helped me with a variety of medical issues and they are pleasant to interact with.

Poor coordination with staff. Poor transfer of information. If I could give this place a negative star based on these things I would. I have had an ongoing issue with this clinic regarding an rx for methylprednisolone. I suffer from severe RA and I take prednisone or methylprednisolone for pain. I do not take narcotics or any of the heavy medication s. I went to see Dr. Ray and got a referral to the rheumatologist which is at the end of April. Once the rx ran out, I called back for a refill UNTIL I get into the rheumatologist because I know that Dr. Ray does not want to write an rx for that medication. That is fine. That was never the issue. What IS the issue is that I have debilitating pain when I’m off the steroid. I explained this to them, and they have this well documented. After a phone call in which I spoke with their office staff and the nurse, I asked for another rx as a courtesy. I was told that Dr. Ray would not write for that rx and that I would have to wait until I see the rheumatologist. This would leave me in debilitating pain and unable to walk until the end of April. This is absolutely NOT ethical. Especially given the fact that I have been on this medication for the past 11 years, already have an A1C of 7.5 and that two more months WILL NOT make any real difference at this point.During this first phone call I was told by office staff, one being Katelyn that Dr. Ray would not write this rx BEFORE she even had confirmation that I had a previous conversation with the office nurse saying that if they could not secure a sooner appointment with the rheumatologist and that Dr. Ray would consider giving me another rx. This means that she was not interested in trying to figure out a reasonable resolve. This caused aggression because I had to push for that fact that Dr. Ray would do that and to please see if it can be done sooner than the standard three days wait time because I had to already wait the weekend. She still insisted that I may have to wait, even if it’s done at all. Fast forward. They were unable to get me into the rheumatologist sooner. I am running out of my rx again. I called my pharmacy to get the rest of what was conveyed to me as a 21 day supply (by the TGH office) and they (my pharmacy) told me that there was only an rx written for 21 pills, which is a dose pack and NOT a 21 days supply. Had I known the rx was for 6 days only (as per a dose pack) then I would not have waited till Friday to call them. However, when the TGH clinic THEMSELVES REPEATEDLY tell you that the script is for a 21 day supply, after the issue we had the first time, one might think that they would be a little more careful. Instead, once again, the office staff, Katelyn in particular acted as though nothing could be done and that I would just have to wait to se the rheumatologist, as well as wait three days for Dr. Ray to decide if I get my medication. I told Katelyn that this was unethical and unprofessional and she would not listen to my grievance, instead speaking OVER me and reiterating the SAME point she was trying to say before. Even though I said that Dr. Ray said she would consider filling in the gap. I told her they are stepping on the wrong person. Katelyn took that as a threat. Katelyn does not know what a threat is because in fact it is a truth that they are stepping on the wrong person. This review is a starting point. Perhaps if TGH does not want bad reviews, press, and/or publicity then they should train their staff better, hire more help, avoid hiring staff who won’t ask for the entire story BEFORE they assert their self perceived authority, and try to understand the nature of medicine and be sympathetic to the need to control pain REASONABLY (as in my case, without hard drugs or narcotics). This is absolutely ridiculous. I am still waiting for a decision on if I can get any medication today before the weekend. Most likely this will not happen as I was told by Sherry, the office manager. That means that I will once again be unable to walk for the weekend.

Dr. Ray is a great doctor. She is caring, thorough and always addresses my husband and Is needs and concerns. We recommend her to anyone who wants an amazing healtcare provider. She wont disappoint.

Dr. Castro is a Great and kind person. Front office and nurses very courteous and fast. Enough parking. I have recommended friends and my families.

I visited this place several times for my son physical and vaccine. Every time the waiting time is around an hour and I have to talk to the receptionist to get their attention. It is horrible and waste a lot of my time.

This is a very bad place! The attitude is poor! Doctors also discriminate against patients! Female doctor! Too much garbage! We are going to sue this doctor! She is not helping the patient! It is to see the patient joke!

Dr. Merritt is very knowledgeable and super helpful. I enjoy my visits.

I went to see Dr. Ray and It was a good experience. However, the waiting before seeing her was extended for almost an hour and the staff did not addressed it until I said something. Also, trying to get a hold over the phone for questions is kind of difficult.

Came all the way from Sarasota to see dr. Castro for a 1-year physical. Not one but two accidents on i-75 where theres never usually a holdup. so knowing that I was going to be late I called the office and told them that I was going to be there at . about 10 after 8 they told me as long as I got there by 8:15 I would not be turned away. So I got there at exactly 8:15 and they turned me away. so I told them I was willing to wait and they still wouldnt see me basically the doctor himself told me to get lost. Absolutely ridiculous! I will be finding a new dr now.

Dr Castro is great with kind of a new school vibe. He is very relaxed and will shoot you straight while keeping the mood light. The office staff is very helpful and kind. They helped me switch over from a different primary care doctor that I picked by mistake in the middle of the month, which other offices werent willing to do. These other offices wanted to push me off until the next month because it required a little extra work. Most recently I had one of their staff members named Quitta call to check on me to see if I made any progress with my referral to see a specialist. Although this call is probably standard, she made it very personalized and even helped explain why some specialists handle referrals differently depending on your heathcare provider.

Have an appt one hour half later still waiting. Check in kiosks dont work properly.Dont go to the hospital either the service is even worse.Whoever gave TGMG good reviews were not sick.

Wait tooooooooo long!!!! Every time we visit Dr. Merrit for my daughter we have to wait at least 1 hour !!!!! He never came on time as the scheduled time! We will consider choose another doctor!!!!

This is absolutely the worst doctors office Ive ever dealt with. I needed immunizations for medical school, and Ive been in and out for months just to get the proper paperwork collected. After finally submitting the documentation, my schools office informed me that the doctor ordered the wrong test, and I will now have to pay for more tests and possibly another vaccination. Horrible service, horrible communication, horrible experience.

I am a new patient, not only did they forget to give me labwork papers when I came in for a physical, but also did not make me aware I needed to schedule an appointment to refill my medication. I called in 3 times and no one ever made me aware. I finally came in and they told me I had to make an appointment before they could order a refill. The doctor is gone already today so I am stuck for another day without medication. There is a hurricane coming through tomorrow and if they close I will be stuck with no medication for the entire weekend. Finding a new doctor now..

Dr. Castro and his staff aim to please. Im always seen within 5-10 minutes of checking in and out of the office completely in 30-45 minutes.

I started going here when I lived in New Tampa, I have since moved to south tampa but I still come up here. Dr Merrrit and Dr Castro are both great and you are always seen in less then 10 minutes. Also they do pedi here!

Very bad service, bad system, bad response and bad patients relationship management. I had only one visit then I had to switch immediately to another clinic.

The worst doctor office . they have no clue what they are doing i went there for a doctor visit , doctor sent me to get mri done after waiting one and half month i had to go there two times just to find out about my mri result very unprofessional staff and doctors
