I’ve seen Dr. Kolanko twice now and have had great experiences both times. He is very knowledgeable and kind and genuinely listens to health concerns and questions. I didn’t feel rushed, which is important. He is a great doctor who really seems to care.

I was so pleased and satisfied with DrKolanko in every way. The nurse was exceptional. I was new,not feeling well and sort of nervous. Everyone certainly eased my mind. The physician seemed friendly and comprehensive. He took time to review my chart with me and he told me exactly what I supposed to do to maintain my health. He looked like he is familiar with people of my race. Also, the clerk and the nurse did a great job. They really took care of me and the wait time was not long. Finally, I appreciated the confirmation and reminder emails that established a personal contact with the patient.

First impressions mean a lot to me, especially when it is concerning my health. I went to Dr. Kolanko because I recently moved to the Tampa area and was in need of a new PCP that was closer to my new home. I was able to book an appointment to see him within 7 days. When I arrived for my first appointment, I was given the usual preliminary forms to sign, and then was taken within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment. I do not like to have to wait longer than 30 minutes for any appointments, and I was pleasantly surprised by such a short waiting time. All of the Staff, Nurses, and Dr. Kolanko, were very courteous and professional. Dr. Kolanko was very attentive in listening to any health concerns I had, and was very helpful in addressing some of my previous issues I had from my past health issues. Very pro-active, and a very personable and courteous MD. I would highly recommend him to anybody seeking a PCP MD.

Dr. Kolanko has been my primary care doctor for about 4 years now and even after moving away for almost a year, I was able to get re-established with him as if I never left. He is truly a hands on doctor who takes the time to listen to any concerns and form a plan on that day, not 3 months down the road. He is intelligent and well versed in many different disorders. The staff in the office have always been pleasant and helpful as well. When I needed titers and paperwork down for nursing school, the ARNP was quick and efficient in getting it completed for me.

I really, really like Dr Kolanko - TGH. He tells me the truth about any condition I may have and doesn’t give pie in the sky expectations about what can be done through extraneous means (surgery). He is humble and funny and really just the perfect doctor for me.

Dr. Kolanko diagnosed me with Myasthenia Gravis, which is a relatively rare autoimmune disorder. Due to unusual symptoms, this disease is difficult to diagnose. Often the diagnosis lasts for up to two years. Dr. Kolanko ordered an appropriate blood test and in less than a month it was clear whats wrong with me.
