Electricians were efficient yet they cut too large a hole in my ceiling for the ceiling fan they installed. Now i have a half inch opening that i have to stare at every time use the bathroom.Problem now resolved. I grabbed my own ladder last night and climbed up to remove the ceiling fan cover to inspect. After a few easy adjustments I was able to reinstall the ceiling fan cover and the half inch gap no longer exists. Not sure what happened. We usually have great service from Brandon Electric. Maybe just caught a down service day.

I was incredibly happy with my experience with Brandon electric. Casey was straight forward and honest. The two gentlemen that came to do the work, Joseph and Carlos were great. Very communicative in the best ways, and genuinely nice guys. One of the most important things I got to see was Casey interact with Joseph and Carlos. It’s good to see there are still good managers that praise good work, and take opportunity for learning lessons without getting frustrated. No question, they will be who I call from now on for my electrical needs.

The technicians called in advance to let us know they were on the way (they got here a little early, which was fine) and did a great job replacing 2 light fixtures on our front porch. They completed the job quickly, cleaned up well and took all the old materials away. They were friendly and professional and we were able to use a $20 off coupon that’s on their website. We are very pleased with the way the new light fixtures look and they work fine. Brandon Electric has always done good work at our home.

The Technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. The only thing I didn’t like was there was $150 trip fee to repair a plug and put two spacers in electrical panel which took all of 30 minutes, maybe $15 worth of equipment, which I didn’t mind paying the $50+ for the actual repair, that trip fee stings. The electrician was a really nice guy. He was professional, courteous and on time. The price Im not happy with. I called to make an appointment and was told it was $150 per hour plus materials. So, after ONLY 15 minutes of installing an electrical plug it cost me $278.

Ramon and Matt were my electrician today. Very nice friendly gentleman. They were on time. Sent me a text message before they arrived. Got right down to the problem and I was finished within the hour. Ramon even hooked my fish tank back up. Please beware of overpricing for small and simple jobs.I had them come out to fix a short in one of my electrical circuits. The company sent out one of their technicians for diagnostics of my electrical issue. Roberto was great as he was professional, informative, and caring.There needed to be a second trip to conclude the diagnostics and fix the short in the circuit including some other add on services I wanted such as wiring for a couple flood lights and the changing of a couple outdoor receptacles.For me, this where the good stops and the poor begins with this company. Be careful when reviewing, questioning, or accepting their estimate for services to be rendered.The estimate received for the second visit lacked the breakdown between labor and material costs. When I discussed this with the company, the first person I spoke with had no knowledge of how the estimate was put together so I asked to speak to estimator. The discussion with the estimator revealed more details which made me question why hours to perform certain services and material costs were as high as they were (These factors were not revealed in the estimate, only vague details and total price.) The debate over this resulted in an impasse. The estimator (who I later discovered was the GM) was condescending towards me and facetious when attempting to address the finer points of the estimate. Essentially, I was told there would be no change to the estimate when it was clear to me the price was overstated for a segment of the estimate. My fear was with more diagnostics to be performed and the repair of the electrical circuit, this would increase the final bill. The GM was very unprofessional and had a my way or the highway attitude towards this process since I had already spent $375 for diagnostic work which appeared to give him some sort of leverage. I became very frustrated with the GM and ended the call by calling him an a.......Subsequently, I spoke with another person to try and get my electrical circuit issue resolved since I had money invested in it. This person never identified what her relationship with the company was but it appeared to me that she must have been the owners wife. We did discussed my conversations with both the first person I spoke with and the GM. She tried to paint me as a belligerent customer when in fact the first person I spoke with had no knowledge or answers for the estimate and became very rattled when I pressed for clarification. I asked that she put me touch with the estimator. As far as the estimator/GM, he was unreasonable in his approach and his behavior did not serve the company well as its representative.I would have to say the assumed owners wife I finally spoke with had no intentions of trying to make this wrong a right as she declined further service to me. It is sad that they tried to justify their actions by deflecting their poor operational and communication performances on me by insinuating I was a bad person. All I ever did was ask for clarification of their estimate and challenge components I believed to be overstated.I asked that you carefully read the poor reviews for this company since you will see that this is a repeated occurrence.I was able to find an electrician, Aguila Electrical Services, who was able resolve my short circuit issue in one visit and at a reasonable and fair price. As well, they installed the 2 outdoor receptacles. I will definitely have them back to install the electical wiring and boxes for the 2 floods lights. Additionally, they advised me to seriously consider creating another circuit to lessen the load on the cricuit they repaired to prevent a future short. They explained how it would be done and there would be no diagnostic charges since it was completed during this visit.Please be careful blindly accepting a proposal out of fear or ignorance. Moreover, understand if they come out and do work, try and get the work completed during the first visit. Learn from my $375 experience.

Job and Anthony were great. After listening to my tale of woe, they got down to work and quickly found out why I had no power to 1/2 the kitchen outlets. In addition, and because they were very thorough, they checked the other 1/2 of the outlets and found and corrected those issues as well. Moral of the story is get electricians to do all the electrical work when you get your kitchen remodeled. Lastly, and again because they were thorough, issues were found with a couple of breakers in the electrical panel. Because they did not have the parts to replace those breakers, they will need to come back, but they tightened and fixed what they could. Overall, they were in out as fast as possible without sacrificing quality because they are very mindful that electricians are not cheap.

My apartment complex used these guys to address a dead outlet in my bedroom. He came on time, was very professional and took the time to explain what would need to be done to fix it. I ended up having a separate issue later in the same day and they came right back and fixed it. Very knowledgeable and friendly!

After four failed attempts to re-set previously working low voltage landscape lighting timers I requested an additional service call to re- set the timers. An estimate was emailed to me to replace the electrical timers with mechanical timers.The emailed invoice estimate was for about $450 to replace the timers with which are $15.50 each on Amazon.The final story after going back and forth:GM Russell had a strong desire to correct the timer issue in a fair manner and ended up replacing the electrical timers with mechanical timers at no additional charge for labor or materials.I have fully working landscape lighting and I appreciate Russell’s tenacity to see the situation through.

The technicians arrived on time, and they gave a courtesy “in route” text twenty minutes out. They were professional and efficient. Most impressive to me, they asked for a vacuum to clean up their mess when the job was done. My husband lives by the motto “leave a place the way you found it or better.” These guys did just that! Not recommended. This company was referred from Facebook. I needed a quote to remove a light fixture and install recessed lights in a 24ft ceiling. I also asked for two extra wall outlets and an electric towel warmer to be installed. They sent two technicians, it took them over 4 hours. Ive worked with many master electricians so this isnt my first first electric rodeo.They spent as much time in the truck as they did in the house, talking to a supervisor and making out a quote for other work. Both guys said they were new, and it showed. The plugs took a while but then they started on the towel warmer. I came back after 15 minutes and I asked if there were any questions but there was no progress, they said, oh yea, lets read the instructions.They installed ivory outlets on a white wall. Then after the 4 hours, I reluctantly went to their truck to pay and their payment system is broken. I told accounting to call me with an itemized invoice and this was the response, Per GPS tracking our technician was on site for 4 hours. This cost would be $535.00 for labor alone. We also only charged for one technician. There were two on site. The cost for two technicians is $195.00 an hour. The total cost of material would be $106.00. The total cost without giving the free estimate would have been $641.00. We only charged 575.18. Please be aware that payment needs to be made today. Still, a one line invoice, not itemized with time and materials.They spent an hour quoting the first estimate. Materials was $106, for two, ONLY two wall plugs? I supplied everything else. I paid for slow technicians and an inflated quote, not experienced labor.They dont itemize invoices really, they show you a number and ask for approval. I had 2 plugs installed and a heated towel rack. I was on an important conference call and just nodded to my wife. Never nod, they just send a one line item invoice and say customer approved. There are two sides to every story of course, but just be aware, or they will make you aware.Here is a closing joke, how many electricians does it take to install two wall plugs?Two, but you cant afford it.

I’m very disappointed by the level of service I received. I was given a window for my appointment between and he shows 4 hours later. I understand emergencies happen. Then I receive the estimate via email. It had one sentence on with a price of over $2,600. One would figure it would have a breakdown of the cost (not at all). I declined the quote. Then I received a call from Kayla inquiring why I declined the quote. I called back spoke to Kayla the next morning and explain what the problem was pricing with two sentences and a price. She says I understand how that could be a concern let me get with my estimator to revise the quote. A day later I receive yet another quote from Naomi with the same exact quote with another sentence add. Oh the disappointment and anger I feel with a company. How can you run a successful business by not being transparent and honest with customers. Do right by your customers and show them where $2,600 for a job is going. Shame on you Brandon Electric!

We had a nice little Storm come through our house on Friday afternoon it took out my power pole for electricity to my house. I got a hold of Brandon electric Saturday morning they told me they would be over as soon as I got all of their supplies together. I couldnt have asked for a better team to come out and help me very proficient and get a good upgrade on my home with my power Poe plus I had to replace my plus plus they put a new box on there too and then hung around until TECO got back out here to reconnect my electric. I do want to apologize for the delay in writing this review. I had 3 estimates for the work I needed done and by far Brandon Electric was the most professional company I have ever has the pleasure of working with. From the start which was an inquiry online to setting the date & time for a quote. Constant communication between the employees in the field and the office personal was just incredible. Casey was amazing, he has a great attitude and personality. His diligence in searching for an interlock for the circuit box that houses my main shut off which happens to be separate from all the other circuits. He displayed such respect and you can see his goal was to make us happy and gain a customer. When the install happened Carlos was on his game and surely know his stuff. There was no playing around, he got down to business and when he was completed he took the time to go over everything not once but several times to make sure both I and my elderly father knew exactly how to operate the system. Both Casey & Carlos ended their visits here making it clear that if we needed any help to call them... I am recommending Brandon Electric to any and all that ask me for a reference. Did I mention the price? Well I can tell you that they are professional, punctual and most definitely affordable.

Had them come out on Mothers Day 2020, Lance was there less than 20 minutes and felt he couldnt do anything to help me and said he would put a work order in the following day. That useless visit cost $380 because it was a Sunday and that is their hourly rate for weekends.I should have stopped there with this company. I however had an emergency situation that was dangerous and in fact caused a small fire from an electrical outlet, thank God I was home at the time. They came back on May 18, 2020 to trouble shoot the problem and to give me an estimate to fix my problem. Carlos was very informative and figured out the problem. That visit cost me $210. He said he would have 2 estimates ready for me the following day. Well, after calling many times and being told that I would get the estimate the next day, they never sent it. It is now June 3, 2020 and still no estimate. I have invested $590 with this company and there is nothing to show for it. This information is to inform you and to help you avoid being taken advantage of by this company.After this review was posted and contacting the BBB, the manager of Brandon Electric reached out to me. We came to an agreement that has satisfied me. I did have to use another company fix my problem which was done May 28, 2020. I do understand that sometimes things fall through the cracks and we are humans who make mistakes. I am changing my rating because of the fact that the company took responsibility for their part in this matter.

After original schedule I was contacted about an earlier day. The team was friendly and professional and completed the work very quickly and provided advice on another electric matter. The cost was quite reasonable.

Did the job right without adding on unneeded extras like others tried to do. Another company was less expensive but I dont think they would have done the job correctly. These guys also finished faster then I thought it would take which is always nice when the power is out.

I called Monday afternoon and was able to get someone to come the next morning. They called when they were on the way got the issue resolved quickly and were reasonably priced.

Hello, this contractor refused to stay behind the warranty. Two breakers need to be replaced under manufacturers warranty such breakers do not break without the reason. Such breakers break only if installed incorrectly. Brandon electric (my research has been done and license holder do not pick up the phone - looks like they use license of somebody else who they worked before and now no longer work with them I asked edmonson company and they say they do not work with brandon electric anymore) I understand I have to pay for labor but breakers has a warranty but brandonelectric refused to come and replace under manufacturers warranty (they supplied breakers/material), they say I have to deal with manufacturer directly. Manufacturer do not replace breakers if installed incorrectly and without the proof of purchase! The house keep shot down the power in some rooms and is a possible fire danger. Looks like brandon electric do not do a craftmanship job and causing a hazard for newly built houses ! electricity installed by EC0002579 brandon electric

I need a light switch moved from the inside of a bathroom to the outside. Everything was working at the time.3 hours later I tell him to forget it as he is opening light switches all over the place. He leaves with my breaker boxapart and no lights in the bathroomI complain and am told I did it. They send a second guy over who cant fix the first guys mess. The manager tells me he has 35 years experience and will come over and fix it . He sends someone else lol then the guy tries to leave with nothing working when he could have left with most of it working. He put it together. Their behavior was very suspicious.i am old and living in an expensive home. The electric was working in the bathroom when he arrived and no power after that. He looked for where the power was coming from to the bathroom. He found it.He tells me I need a major job to run a wire to a room that already had a wire run to it.

I had Brandon Electric come out last Saturday for an emergency. The main breaker on the panel was tripping.They make sure that you agree to pay $380 before they come out. The technician gets to my house and does some troubleshooting and comes to the conclusion that the A/C is bad and electric is fine even though the breaker for the A/C never tripped. He had me turn on the dryer and it did not trip the main breaker. He leaves with the A/C breakers turned off and dryer running. 10 minutes after he leaves the main breaker trips. He forgot his cell phone and when he comes back we tell him this and he says it is the A/C unit. We tough it out till Monday and call another electrical company. Technician comes out and has me turn on the dryer. He notices arcing on the bolt that attaches the main breaker to the other breakers. He shows me how it is discolored and not bright like the bolt on the right. He disconnects the power and tightens the bolt. We turn the dryer and A/C on and no arcing. Been a week and still good. A/C is working fine. His fee was a $132. He said his work is guaranteed and has a warranty for a year. All Brandon Electric did was misdiagnose my problem and leave me with no A/C for 2 days at a cost of $380. Save yourself some money and comfort and call Best Home Services and ask for Daniel if you can.

Danny and Sean were quick, personable, and took care of the job in its entirety very quickly. They clearly know how to work efficiently with each other and when addressing the task at hand. Overall it was an awesome experience and I couldnt thank them enough.
