My kids have been going to this doctor for over 9 years. Started out great until about 4 years ago. Rude staff besides a few nurses.

Best pediatric office I have found for my kids. I have two kids, whom prior to this place had different pediatricians, which were not up to standard like this place. Great staff, doctors are so nice and personable. Also they have play sets in every room for kids!

They are so horobale and everytime you see someone different and everyone tells you something different about your child. I am moving my babies to another doctor i dont recommend this doc anymore

She is one of the best doctors in Tampa Bay! She saw something that the ER and Urgent Care doctors missed and had my son admitted to the hospital. That night he he went code blue just 4 hours after being placed in PICU and they were able to save his life. Other than the swollen glands that came on suddenly you would have never known that he had cancer. Thank you Dr.Johnson!!!!

All of the Doctors and Nurses are always very welcoming. They listen to my concerns and I never feel rushed. They are very accommodating with appointments and have an after hours clinic. I highly recommend this practice. You and your children will be in great hands!

If I can give this Doctor a 0 I will definitely do...What kind of doctor does not gives the medication on an ADHD patient when she needs it just because she wants me to schedule a follow up appointment before..And I spoke directly to the doctor I explain to her that she did not write all the information correctly thats why the pharmacy couldnt fill the prescription and she was still talking about the follow up appointment...She said she was not going to argue with me I also told her that the school is asking me about her medication and she did not care she just hanged up the phone..I will of never thought this doctor was going to act like this I been taking my daughters here for 6 years..But they just lost 2 patients...

I loveeeeeeeee this place ! Great doctors and great staff ! Very clean place as well .Ever since I switch my son to this clinic I feel more at peace . If my son is sick and needs his shots they always wait until he gets better so they can give him his shots . Not like Tampa family that didn’t care if he was sick or not . If I’m running late for any emergency they will always see him that day just to make sure his okay . I highly recommend!!

We moved to the area when I was 7 months pregnant and had to find doctors, hospitals, etc. My OB recommended Dr. Johnson-Towson. She took about an hour to meet with me and discuss her practice, answer my questions and set expectations on leaving the hospital and my babys first few weeks. I can not tell you how impressed I have been ever since.My son is 8 weeks old and we actually look forward to her appointments. We always learn something new. Shes practical and relaxed but also very warm. We love her!

I have been taking my son here since we moved to Florida, I only like working with Dr Michele Johnson-Towson she hands down is the best doctor I have found for my son. She is truly interested in my sons over all well being. My son always had issues with his ears and when we are there for anything she always takes the initiative to check them to make sure everything is good with them as well.

When I first moved to Tampa, I was having problems finding a good pediatrician. My friend recommended Dr. Johnson-Towson and I am so happy we listened to her recommendation. The staff was very pleasant and really welcomed us as new patients. She is hands down, the best pediatrician I have ever met. She wasnt rushed and she sat down to talk with us about our baby. She was very patient, very caring, and very good with our baby. She answered all our questions and listened to our concerns. She was on time and we never felt rushed during the appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson-Towson.

If I can only explain to you guys what happened to my baby girl today I would but even thinking about it again is the most scariest moment of our lifes, my daughter is the sweetest baby girl and soo lovable for her to go through something like she did in her appointment. I am beyond scared and I don’t ever want to come back to this place ever again... is soo sad because only two doctors cared for her a lot but one new doctor and these rookie nurses made everything worst for us.

I cannot even describe how many times these people have messed up. I took her there when she had a horrible fever- they checked her for strep and sent her on her way. I had to take her to the hospital so they could tell me she had the FLU!! Another time someone called me saying she NEVER had a physical for the year- I was so confused. When I called back, they had NOOO idea what I was talking about. Now they have her shot records messed up. Some people are nice, and the doctor is not too bad. But they have messed up way too many times and need to get it together!

I have been with this pediatrician for 13 years. As the years have gone by she has just gotten worse and so has her some of her staff. ( Sheila is exceptional) I will no longer bring my children back to her practice.children back to to this practice children back. There is no reason for

The Staff is rude, disrespectful, they lie place you on hold and never return. I would never take my child to this Doctor. The doctors are nice and kind, however you can get that anywhere...more time is spent interacting with the staff if I had a choice I would never take a child to this office.

Highly dont reccomend this place. The front staff is rude and half the doctors cant properly diagnose your child. Getting a referral faxed over to the office NEXT DOOR to them is a fight because they have some sort of hatred towards them. Since she hates Beth Ingram therapy services for some reason she still, every time I see her, tries to persuade me to drive out to plant city to another therapist. The office next door has better ratings than her office does so its no wonder shes salty. Just switched pediatricians & Im so thankful already!!

Ive only ever had a positive experience at Dr. Towsons office. Shes always been respectful and correct in her diagnosis, including bronchitis, and has treated the symptoms appropriately too. We have never had to wait very long to see her either. She takes time to explain any medication shes prescribing for my son. The staff are polite and helpful too.Based on my experience I would recommend Dr. Towson.

My family has been to three or four other pediatric places in the area in the last ten years, because of insurance changes. All have been a bit of a mess. Im happy to report that after my first time here because of yet another insurance change, this whole place is fantastic. From the front desk staff, nurses, and Dr. Johnson-Towson, I felt like my kids were in the hands of caring professionals.Dr. Johnson-Towson was thorough and great with the kids. She made me feel like my questions were worthwhile and worth her time. I am happy we found this place.

Single dad here, whos very happy to tell you about the great staff here, everyone on the staff are very nice and polite, and they have very prompt appointments, I have never had to wait more then 48hrs to see the doctor for any reason thus far , Ill definitely be keeping Hunter here

I cant believe the recipientist (multiple individuals) how rude they are over the phone, Ive taken my daughter for 5 years and slowly notice the change with the ppl who work there. Im sad to see a pediatric place not able to work to fill out a form to help out with your child daycare/livelyhood. For example I am currently pregnant and been sick so unable to go to work or appointments so all I needed was a form for an extension for 3 days. Due to my daughters birthday the 27th (Thursday), appointment 28th (Friday) but due date is the 30th (Sunday).Everything is fine until you ask them to work with you, if you make your appointments on time, do your part, again below average service, but as soon you ask them more then simple questions its like they past you over to someone who isnt there to listen or work with you at all. I highly wouldnt recommend because the years Ive been there I never asked more then just simple and general questions, now I see that their staff isnt the best quality to handle more then make appointments and print a piece a paper when asked.

Our first visit July 31st 2017.We were told we would see the dr since it was our first visit and my son in medically complex.So when the NP came in I didn’t realize it wasn’t the dr.She looked in chart and said oh he’s required to see the dr since he’s complex.She walked out came back and said she can’t see you today and continued.Ive never been to a new patient appointment and not seen the dr.Second visit in October was for my daughter after hours for allergic reaction.I filled her in on previous reactions.This was finally the dr.Michelle Johnson Towson.She looked her over and said she would swan her for strep.😳No fever ok,I said why swab.”Well her tonsils are red”.My reaction was their back?!! They were removed in 2016 and ENT had seen her a month before.smh I decided right there she could not see her medically complex twin.When we did switch we had a rough time with office staff.I don’t feel safe going to someone that looks in my child’s mouth and says something is red that isn’t there.Beware!!

Excellent Doctor!! Shes very understanding and answers all questions that you have regarding your little one.

VERY VERY unorganized, some unprofessional and seems to always be in a rush, which doesnt make sense to me being that I would sit in the waiting room for over an hour per appointment. They do not document in charts properly as every time I call no one knows what I am talking about and I have to explain myself to about 3 different people at a time, I think n the past 3 years I have seen Michelle Johnson-towson about 2 times, and every other time my child was seen by a different Dr. My child will never be seen here again.

Awful doctor always a different doctor every time I take my son. The doctor told me nothing was wrong with my son come to find out he had bronchitis for 3 weeks but the lady didnt tell us so he was sick for a month without the proper medicine I was livid worst doctors office ever

If I could give Zero stars I would. My children been there 2 to 3 times and their health concerns were not adress correctly. There is interns in who see the kids without a Dr. Been present. Is like the interns a pretend doctors who are seen baby dolls and send them home hoping the visit to the office suficce and the kids are all better because they stepped to the office.

Dr Towson has been our pediatric doctor for 21 years . My daughter still wants to see her when she comes home from college. Thanks Doc for being there all these years

Very rude don’t like them. My granddaughter was getting her shots and she pass out and they didn’t care at all. I call to make sure they check her before she leaves and they started to scream at me and being rude. Disrespectful people and I don’t recommene it to no one.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! If you are looking for a good, quality pediatric doctor - this is NOT the place! The establishment has a well waiting room & sick waiting room...both carpeted, small, overcrowded, dirty & crawling with bacteria. I took my child there (5 days old) & in the exam room on day one, the doctor found a used needle & picked it up with tissue in front of us telling the med student to take it out of the room & that shed have a talk w/ nurses. Day 2 - appointment was at 9am, child gets called back to be measured & weighed at 10am finally. Afterwards, we are directed back to waiting area since no exam rooms were available. The well area as well as sick areas are both overcrowded to the point of people were standing. I asked if I should wait outside & left the establishment after the 2nd experience w/o ever seeing the doctor. If you are smart, you will mot waste your time here. I was able to finf a much better pediatric doctor 2 miles up the road & get in with a same day appointment. The experience has been incredible since switching.

We scheduled our son for his first appointment. They said they accepted our insurance when they made the appointment. When we arrived at the appointment they said they didnt accept any Obama plans and turned us away. The waiting room and toys were very dirty.

Everytime we come It is a different doctor they are very unprofessional and rush you out the door... They call at least once a month try get you bring child in for physical

Best pediatrician in Tampa!

I have been with Dr. Michelle Johnson for more than 6 years, two of my children since they were born they have been attending with her how they currently do. The pandemic begins and everything is in chaos. My daughter drinks the most for the third time, they do the Covid 19 test, which the first one comes out negative and the other two positive. At home, its me and my three children, only the baby tests positive without symptoms and I and my other children test negative for the third time. I am going to look for the results in person since I asked them to send them to me by email they told me that I had to go to Petrona and the treatment given to me when they found out that we all live together is very bad !!! She tells me that I am not supposed to be in the office because I am exposed to the virus in front of all the staff, which I did not like at all. The time that I have been with the doctor I have never had a problem except with a doctor or nurse who sometimes have attitudes but the rest are a nurses love. Today I did not feel good since they had used another method of speaking or saying things not with attitudes.
