I am a new patient. Office was clean and covid protocols made me feel safe. All staff were professional, yet warm and welcoming.

It was the most thorough cleaning I have ever had.My second appt was for a filling, which dare I say, was a pleasurable experience. FANTASTIC office. The dentist is super nice, friendly, trustworthy, and willing to explain anything. The support staff are ultra friendly and willing to accommodate. The hygenist is bubbly and fun, and EVERYONE is efficient, talented, and seem to enjoy what they do. They made my visits enjoyable!HIGHLY recommended!

Gassler dental is the best dentist Ive ever been to. From the second I called to make an appointment I was met with a very caring staff. Theyre very skilled, patient, compassionate and informative. The facility is clean. Dr Gassler is fantastic. There isnt a bad thing I could even think of to say. And this is coming from a woman who tried to live with an abscess for MONTHS before thinking about calling a dentist. I feel confident in my oral health now because of him and his team.

Working in downtown Tampa, it is a real treat to find a dentist within blocks of your office. I was not happy with my prior dentist and had not been since April of 2019. Waited for the new plan year where I could change to a PPO and picked Gassler Dental based on some of the reviews and that they were 2 blocks west of where I work. I do have periodontal issues (have had prior surgery and a bone graft) and had fallen behind the “8 ball” on my home care. Dr. Gassler came in, checked me over and found I was better than I thought I would be. He recommended a deep cleaning only around my two back upper molars and a back lower one which they were able to take care of in the same visit (YEA!!!). His hygienist, Kierstyn, did an awesome cleaning on me and took her time. I like that I was not told I needed to have a bunch of other stuff (as I saw in prior reviews). I inquired about having whitening done down the road and received a reasonable quote, but was not even pushed to make the appointment. I may or may not…who knows. As good as my teeth looked when I left, I may just stay with what I have. I highlight recommend Dr. Gassler and am looking forward to a long relationship with them. Everyone there is very friendly and good at what they do, whether it is checking you in, taking your ex-rays, etc.

Great folks here! Took me in last minute, just before closing, to fix a broken tooth. I live out of state and was here for work. They got me in and out quickly, were the nicest office I have ever been to. If I lived locally, they would have a new permanent patient.

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I went for a long time when Dr. Horan owned this establishment. When he sold it I did not return until recently . I was very impressed with the entire staff , very professional and made me feel right at home. Dr. Gassler was kind and listened to my issues. Would highly recommend to all my friends.

Kierstyn does an amazing job with my cleanings, very thorough with a soft touch! She always explains what shes going to do step by step before she does it, and what you can expect to feel. Dr. Gassler is just as thorough and gives clear direction on dental care at home. Jailynn greets everyone happily in the reception and gives 110% customer service! I highly recommend them as Ive been going there for years now. Theyll take good care of you.

Dentist is great. The lady who did the cleaning was not. She hit my front teeth numerous times with metal instruments, sprayed water all over my face, was very rough with flossing, was abrasive and overall unprofessional. When I told the front desk she just gave me a frowning face and said we all have off days. Will not be back.

Dr. Gassler is young and energetic, and he clearly knows his stuff. He took the time to make sure I knew exactly what was going to happen before he did anything, and as someone who gets really anxious at the dentist, I really appreciated that. Great dentist!

I recently visited Gassler Dental for a routine cleaning and checkup, and was very impressed with their team. Jailynn at reception was so kind and quick to get me checked in. Dr. Gassler was professional and thorough in his examination. I have to give props to their dental hygienist, Kierstyn. I have visited several dentists over the last few years and can easily say this was the best visit Ive had. She not only did a great job cleaning my teeth but was very aware of when I might be in pain and took great care to be as sensitive as possible. I will definitely be coming back here for visits and cant recommend their team highly enough.

I am giving this business a 2 star review because I believe this dentist tries to upsell you on unnecessary services. I went here for a routine cleaning a couple of weeks before my wedding, and the dentist refused to do a cleaning, saying that I had periodontal disease and would require a “deep cleaning” of my ENTIRE mouth, which cost more. I did not have the PTO or extra money to schedule a deep cleaning at that time, and so left without having my teeth cleaned at all. I went to my prior dentist last night in St. Pete, who said I definitely do NOT need a “deep cleaning”. He said that if I had periodontal disease, I would have bleeding gums, inflammation, discomfort, likely a distinctive odor, and bone loss, which I did not, and that my gums overall looked healthy. He did say I have some “faux pockets” in the back where the gums simply come up higher around my molars. Also the hygienist at Gassler told me I had bone loss, but my St. Pete dentist looked at my xrays and said that I did not, so I am pretty perplexed there. St. Pete Dental also confirmed my suspicion that, if you do a deep cleaning on someone who doesn’t really need it, that it can cause more harm than good. I think Gassler’s recommendation to do a root planing of my ENTIRE mouth upon my first visit was overkill and quite frankly, a bit self-serving. Do not let any of these dentists tell you you are a liability and try to sell you on a deep cleaning if you’re not having major issues. I otherwise received excellent service from the staff.
