What a wonderful experience . Dentist and his staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. My 15 year old four wisdom tooth was removed by this dentist so quickly and absolutely no pain at all . Please keep up the good work and i will be referring family and friends to your office . This dentist deserve more than 5 star.

TW: blood/goreIt took me a long time to write this review. Prior to having surgery at this place, I had no issues/fear of dental work and got regular cleaning. I have not been able to bring myself to get a cleaning for over a year now because of my experience here.Insurance sent me tp Tamarac Family Dental for my oral surgery referral, 1 year ago. I was to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I visited for scans prior to the procedure, upon looking at my scans the surgeon scheduled me a week later. I was given no pre-op or post op care instructions.Upon arrival for the wisdom removal, I asked the surgeon about what pain medications I would be administered. He was visibly annoyed with my question, and said None, I dont give pain medication and I asked the same question in a different way because common sense told me Im not gonna have 4 teeth ripped out sober. Once again he was visibly annoyed, told me Nothing just laughing gas, and sighed at me. I asked about after care and he said I dont give pain medication, just Tylenol, which I found odd but whatever. He was rushing me to hurry up and lay down so that he could start.About 20 minutes into the procedure, under laughing gas, I started to motion to him and his assistant that I was feeling nauseous. He dismissed me and said, Stop moving around and hold still, I tried multiple times to make him aware my stomach was not responding to the laughing gas well, he dismissed me again, and sure enough, I vomited in my own mouth while laying flat in the dental chair. The assistant pulled me upright while I choked on my own vomit, and it was a literal horror scene. My lap was filled with throw up, blood, and chunks of tooth. To this day it was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life, and the look that the dental assistant shared with the doctor said all I needed to know. They knew they screwed up. However the doctor had the nerve to ask me Oh what you ate breakfast today?? Which I had not, but I ate around midnight the night before. They continued the procedure without laughing gas, and I had my teeth broken and ripped out all while being fully conscious, which was nearly torture.Last but not least, I will reiterate I was given ZERO pre-op or post op care. Not a pamphlet or a piece of paper, not an online resource, nothing. If it werent for the advice of family/friends & my own research on what not to do and how to clean out the empty pockets left in the gums, more than likely I would have gotten some sort of infection.This experience happened 1 year ago. I should have looked into malpractice, but I was in shock and pain... I have avoided even looking at the business until now. The reason Im finally writing this is that their title includes Family Dental and I cant imagine returning here an adult, let alone sending a child to be traumatized. The doctor who performed my procedure has no business having a license.

This is a nice cozy office. I like that it’s functional and not oversized with fluff. My husband and I have been patients here for a few months now and I cannot complain. We’ve both dreaded going back to the dentist for a while until we found Tamarac Family Dental. The staff is very friendly and they have an amazing dental hygienist! Kristina at the front is always very pleasant and remembers her patients and that makes a difference.I had a wisdom tooth extraction by Dr. Alex and I had no idea when the tooth came out! To be honest, I don’t know how he does it but I barely even felt the lidocaine injection. The dentists are just very knowledgeable and skilled. It has been a great experience here and I think we’ll remain patients for years to come.

Okay so let’s back track.I’ve been having toothache for quite awhileI knew I had to get this thing out 😩.Lastnight was it for me 1/27So I woke up early got on google and search for dentist near me. I read through quite a few reviews before I made my decision.Today 1/28 I made an appointment and went in the same day.I went in signed up (new patient).Yes there was a little wait not too long.(Understand that there will be a waiting period everywhere you go) it wasn’t bad.Okay so let’s get to the good part, I was so scared, this wasn’t my first time pulling a tooth, however all the tools got me nervous. (Delivery experiences)I had Dr Alex and he was amazing, I didn’t feel a thingJust a little tugging but that’s expected.The price was very reasonable and affordableI’m so happy I chose them. This will be my new dentistThank you Dr Alex and for answering my questions

Amanda was very helpful when I got lost on my way in. Wait time was minimal, rooms were clean, and service was swift. Thanks to Krystina’s help, I received a great referral who saw me very promptly after my initial appointment. Now I’m well on the way to recovery. What an awesome staff! I would definitely recommend this office to a friend.

I was there a few days ago for a extraction the Dr was Amazing I didnt feel anything it was fast and smooth all the staff in the office they were great & super nice I will never go somewhere else They are the BEST 👍

The dentist is great but the women are terrible. Its a daycare for the women that run the place. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE. Especially if you have a morning appointment. I showed up on time and the front desk didnt come to open the door until almost twenty after.
