My Name is Joanne I moved my mother to Harbor Chase in the midst of this pandemic... So scary as we were unable to physically go into the facility and look around. After many phone conversations with Teresa ( a Wonderful Caring Lady) She not only sent me every picture and floor plan ...Teresa went ahead and took a live Time Video of the apartment that would soon become our mothers Wonderful New Home! The story could go on and on... One week after our mother was moved which Paul the maintenance man helped move and set up everything... Our mother went from not speaking and very hopeless as we were also to Thriving and Speaking calling and totally engaging us! By the way our mother has Dementia. We can Now finally see our mother! Laura the director couldnt be any more Kind Caring and Very Professional, to Norma the facility nurse, Marie the resident coordinator, and the biggest warming smile of Tamika at the front desk. Then there are All the wonderful staff attendants we dont know them all yet! Zak is one that we along with Fabiola couldnt be more caring and supportive. During these crazy times although very scary... We Absolutely couldnt have made a better choice. We are So Very Grateful and Forever Thankful for Everyone at Harbor Chase of Tamarac!

The staff of Harbor Chase of Tamarac is a group of the most compassionate, caring and selfless people I have ever met. My 93 year old mom has been a resident there for almost two (2) years. Each staff member considers her as if she were their own immediate family member; they are consistently anticipating, and attending to, any and all aspects of her needs with genuine empathy. In addition, the staff regards each resident with the highest level of dignity, and respects each resident’s individual life-story. I express the utmost gratitude to the staff of Harbor Chase of Tamarac for the wonderful care that they give my mom.

I was extremely stressed and anxious knowing I needed to find a place for my mother. Her Alzheimers dementia was getting worse and it was no longer safe to keep her home with me. As soon as I entered HarborChase of Tamarac I knew I had found the perfect place. I immediately got a feeling of home. The staff was warm and inviting. They took the time to get to know me and my mother and answered all of my questions. The day I had to move her in was a terrible day for me but the staff gave me updates, sent me pictures of her room all set up and even pictures and videos of her singing and dancing. It really put me at ease. They are all caring, empathetic and always answer any questions I may have. It was very reassuring to know that the majority of the staff have been there for many years.I am thankful I am still allowed to visit ( currently outside to remain safe due to COVID) but my mother is always happy and constantly tells me she has no complaints. I also have no complaints. She tells me the food is good and I believe it as I have seen her dinner plate one evening! Everything looked and smelled delicious! Their activity calendar is always full so I know my mother is never bored or lonely.I am grateful that I found the perfect place for my mother. I know she is happy and most importantly safe and well cared for.

Harbor Chase has been AWESOME. The staff are caring, and show such patience for love ones suffering from Dementia and Alzheimers. I cant thank them enough for making us family, and taking great care of my dad. Laura and her staff have so much patience. Thank you for ALL that you do.

My beautiful mother has been a resident at HarborChase for a little over two (2) years. HarborChase has been a GODSENT to me! From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by the most AMAZING staff. They always welcome you with a smile and open arms! They genuinely care about their residents and their family members. The EXCEPTIONAL staff has become MY FAMILY! They ALWAYS go the extra mile to assist in any way possible! The facility is spotless. They have also continued to take extra precautions during COVID and have always maintained proper protocol in such a difficult time. I am so GRATEFUL that I can rest at night knowing my mother is being taken care of with LOVE and COMPASSION!

Facing we can no longer care for our loved ones as our heart wishes is a very hard thing to accept, not to mention making the decision of placing them in someone else’s hands for care. Finding the “right” place feels as impossible as the decision itself. With that said, my mother has been a resident of Harbor Chase of Tamarac for a year now and doing very well!The cleanliness and attention to detail at Harbor Chase shows as soon as you enter the door. And I didn’t even mention the food…. excellent. Thank you to the staff and administration.

Gorgeous community !Active residents and a modern décor with a staff that has been there for ages who all praise the Harbor Chase Tamarac community as the best place to work. That speaks volumes itself. Highly recommend it

I chose HarborChase based on cleanliness and friendliness of employees. I feel that reflected on quality of care my mother receives and I was right. My mother has been there over 2.5 years. I visit frequently and multiple times a week unannounced pre pandemic and my mother was always clean and nicely dressed and cared for.And now during the pandemic these people are heroes. They screen all people coming and going for Covid and offer visits with criteria to protect my mom. She was also one of the first to get Covid vaccine in the country. The caregivers have PPP on and always bring my mother to our private visits during pandemic.I really cannot say enough about the staff. I interviewed over 15 facilities asking many questions and reaching out to others on social media for guidance. It paid off for me and am so glad I chose the facility to deal with an awful disease in the best way. These people are wonderful. If your having doubts, don’t bring your loved ones here if you want quality care.

Wonderful and professional staff!! The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. All the rooms are nicely renovated. The residents are well taken care of. The staff are competent and always show how much they care.

My mother is a current resident of Harbor Chase of Tamarac, having been diagnosed with early onset dementia. As much as I did NOT want to place her in a facility, and did NOT trust that anyone would/could deliver her the level of care and love and patient understanding that she needed, I cannot imagine a better place for her to be. Since moving into Harbor Chase, my mother has flourished. She laughs a lot, has plenty of space to move around which she did not have in our apartment (she is a roamer and constantly moving), she is able to express her old habits of care with the other patients (she used to be a nurse and always wants to take care of people), and she has a wonderful staff who understands her needs. I have visited many times and the patience and affection shown to the patients is heartwarming to watch. As with many forms of mental illness, much of my mothers conversation is unintelligible, but the staff still always respond as if they understand her perfectly. They laugh when she laughs, give plenty of hugs, and can recognize family members by name and on sight. I thank Harbor Chase for giving me one less thing to worry about. When I am able to remove my mother from their care to have her live with me, we will absolutely still visit often.

I work in the field of Assisted Living. My new client has just come into Harbor Chase and was refusing to eat. She had rejected entrees 1 & 2 and left the dining room saying she had to get home.The kitchen, at my request, sprung into action and prepared a hotdog with beans- which is my clients favorite food. I told her they were making it special for her.When I left, she was back in the dining room, and had started to dig into her hot dog and beans.That’s five star personal care and responsiveness.Now, if they can get her lox for breakfast...
