Dr. Fox has been treating my mother for many years now, unfortunately. Recently he wrote a letter to her insurance company stating diagnoses, hes never treated her for. He has not changed her medication in years, even though there has been no change in her health. Common sense would state that if the medication is not working, you might need to change to a different medication. I find him to be irresponsible and negligent.My mother is one who doesnt like conflict, and would keep on with him, but this is ridiculous. I will be reporting him to the proper authorities. Beware of your parents, take care of them.

I am very lucky to have Dr. Richard Fox as my doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, professional, and so caring. He will also tell you (but very kindly and firmly) when he thinks you should see a specialist. When you dont really want to have a particular procedure that you really should have done (LOL). Seriously, you can not find a more caring and intelligent doctor. And his office staff has always been friendly and efficient.

I was in desperate need of a good primary doctor. Dr. Richard Fox and his amazing staff were highly recommended by a good friend. I am so happy with the recommendation. Dr. Fox has an excellent bedside manner, he explains everything so well and he is extremely thorough. I was in horrible pain/ Dr Fox refused to help me wanted me to go to a GI doctorI Its impossible to get a specialist without a long wait for an appointment. called 3 times in the next two weeks and he kept refusing to help me. I finally went to the hospital , found out it was my gall bladder. The surgeon told me that if it ad been quickly.taken care of. I would have not have the completions that kept me in the hospital for an entire month.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Fox since before he opened His practice on his own. Love this man to know end. He is the most caring Dr. that I know. Dr. Fox is the best! Im 51 years old and have never found the right doctors office...until now. Dr. Fox is thorough, patient and kind. His staff is sweet, and unlike other offices the wait time isnt outrageous. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Fox.

What a pleasant experience. Everything went smooth and i had a very short wait. Ths receptionist checked me in and then i waited for about 8 minutes before i was called in. The nurse took my vitals and then i saw Dr Fox. He has a nice way about him, very easy going and reviewed my history. Hes great and is now my doctor!

From reading the reviews, I see I’m not the only one with a poor experience with Dr. Richard Fox’s staff. Particularly the billing department. I have been going to Dr. Fox’s office for about 2 years now, and saddened by the treatment I’ve experienced. I received an old bill dating back from August recently stating that I owed $90. When I called the office to get clarification, as I knew this had to be incorrect- the billing manager KIM was extremely rude. Now, I’m a reasonable person and typically don’t complain or even take the time out to write a nasty review; however the way I was treated was absolutely abhorrent! I called back simply to get clarification and if I did in fact owe this payment- I would simply pay it. Instead of getting any kind of professional explanation, Kim snapped at me from the start of the conversation, wouldn’t let me get one word in, and ended up hanging up on me. I was told I needed to get the EBT from my insurance. I ended up calling my insurance 3 times and every time was told I owed $10. I got the EBT and sent back to Dr. Fox’s office, however still kept receiving mail, email, vm that I owed $90. I tried calling Kim/ the office, even requested a call from Dr. Fox. No one ever called back. Today I received a letter from Dr. Fox telling me I’m no longer a patient with him due to not responding to the office staff for payment. When I’m fact, it was the other way around. Stay away from this rude, unprofessional office!!!

Dr. Fox is an amazing doctor! And the office manager was amazing and helpful with isurance issues and can’t thank her enough! I️ highly recommend Dr. Fox!

It really saddens me how bad this office has gotten Dr. Richard Fox has been my doctor for over 10 years now they have a staff. I recently made an appointment to see Dr. Fox knowing my co-pay is $25 they explained to me that I had to pay that I had a deductible of $500 and in order to see the doctor I had to pay $140 I called my insurance to verify my, my insurance verified that I only supposed to pay $25 I call them to explain to them what my insurance told me and they told me that I was wrong and that my insurance was wrong my insurance also said if they wanted to verify that they were to call member services to get verification I spoke to the billing department and billing told me that they dont call to verify with insurance companies that I was to call and verify and then called him back three-way RICDICULOUS !!!!!& UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If youre looking for a doctor please dont go to Dr. Richard Fox their staff is unbelievable.

Dr. Fox is the “BEST”....He has been my doctor since 2008. The office staff are always professional and timely.

What I like the most about Dr Fox is that you never seemed rushed with your time with him. You have his full attention which allows you to remember to ask him questions.

Doctor is nice, but have a very hard time getting anyone to call me back and lots of billing issues.

Unprofessional office staff. Kim from the billing department was absolutely rude and nasty. Do not come here if you want a bill for the full amount of your visit, months after the fact, because their billing department cannot do their job properly. Below is my comments about Dr. Fox that Ive chosen to post everywhere I can find. Before reading that, I want to reply to a few comments already posted here on Google by other patients:-The one about him on the laptop-Hey, its 2017 and we have forms of communication that provide better note taking then by writing. Yes, Dr. Fox is constantly typing away, but thats the good part-hes taking concise notes and comparing past data easily and quickly then scrolling through pages of paper notes where things can easily be missed. And trust me, you still get personal attention to the max.-As to the office staff, I agree that some of the past staff wasnt the best when the office was more than one doctor. Since my return this year, as my comments below reflect, he now has a A+ team.About four years ago, thanks to Obamacare, I was able to get health insurance after being denied for several years due to pre-existing conditions. I did not know of any doctors in the area and chose Dr. Fox randomly. Over the next three years, I received the best health care and the Doctor allows for more than ample time with his patients. I can only imagine what my health would be if I had not received insurance and I now know that care is far better with Dr. Fox. Last year, I had moved to Delray Beach. I changed insurance companies last year and did not realize Dr. Fox was not a part of the plan. The difference in care and professionalism between my new doctor and Dr. Fox was off the charts.This year, I made sure my plan included Dr. Fox, even though I had a higher premium and at least a 35-minute drive to his office. Two months ago I had what turned out to be a MRSA infection. Thanks to Dr. Fox, he found me a surgeon to see immediately after leaving his office which not only avoided an ER visit or hospitalization, but saved me from a more severe bout. On my recent visit, he uncovered another immediate issue that again hopefully will now be minimal. In fact, with the quickest option for a test at the hospitals outpatient center, the admitting clerk mentioned to me how on issues like this she really likes how Dr. Fox is most proactive.I am so glad that once again, Dr. Fox is my primary. In addition, his current staff is top notch. The office manager Linda is so efficient and professional, especially in the situations where time is of the essence and simply is just a really nice person to deal with. People like Linda are the unsung heroes of most medical offices and I guess usually take all complaints and probably listen to everyones heartaches which brings them to the doctor (while of course handling this with such compassion while fielding phone calls every other second). She seems to go out of her way to treat with properly and with respect compared to so many other offices. I guess it goes hand and hand with the way you are treated by the Dr. Fox in the exam room. His medical assistant (forgot his name) is also very thorough and caring and you can feel assured you are getting the proper care on his part as well.At a time when the high cost of insurance and the strain of the medical care system puts so many restraints on your care, it seems Dr. Fox throws most of it out the window by continuing to afford you all the time you need with him, follow up care and phone calls and a terrific support staff. My only concern is what will happen if and when they repeal and replace Obamacare in the case I am still dependent on it for maintaining insurance.In summary, sometimes you get bad doctors. Other times, you get quality doctors but bad bedside manner. With Dr. Fox, you get the best of both worlds and then some. In this day and age, you cant ask for anything more.
