Saw because my GI doctor was on vacation- He is a good GI doctor and very good. He seemed rushed but answered my questions. Love his office and staff

I had 5 1/2 hours of pancreas surgery in, 2005 due to scar tissue forming in my pancreas and common bile duct. In 1993 I had the first surgery as I have a pacreatic divisim and a severe stenosis of my ducts. When I saw Dr Doukedis I was having pain and he informed me after reviewing my surgical reports that he could have endoscopically done my surgery. He was asked if he could look at my ducts to see if adhesions could be the problem and said no. My regular GI doctor said no he could not have endoscopically performed my surgery. Dr Doukedis was asked to have an xray tech review a CD of a xray procedure I had done. He never returned any of my phone calls. Definitely would not recommend him.

On Monday July 22, 2019 I had a endoscopy with Dr. Doukides. I was referred by my gastroenterologist Dr. Lindenberg to Dr. Doukides because he was not available on that day and I needed it done a.s.a.p. I was a bit nervous not knowing the new doctor but Dr. Lindenberg assured me that i would be in great hands and would trust his family members with Dr. Doukides. I also had contacted my primary doctor Dr. Trudell doctor to ask her about Dr. Doukides and she also said he has a great reputation. On Monday 7/22/19 in the out patient surgery center in the operating room is the first time I met Dr. Doukides. Dr. Doukides was very professional, explained everything to me. Made me feel very comfortable. I felt I was in good hands which I was. After the procedure my nurse who took great care of me said Dr. Doukides left his cell number if I had any wanted to ask him any questions and I did call him and Dr. Doukides was so very nice and explained everything to me. I highly recommend Dr. Doukides. I gave a 5 star because he deserved it. Thank you so much for taking great care of me. Sincerely, Laurie Cruz

My mom went to see Dr Doukides for her ulcerative colitis and explained that she was suffering with irritable bowls for over 3 weeks. Two days later she was scheduled for a colonoscopy and was told they were going to do a biopsy. Before leaving, the doctor informed us that he would have his staff call the Insurance company to see what medications were covered so it would be affordable to her. Its now been 9 business days and she called up the office and was told they have no record of her or her results. When the receptionist finally found it she said she had no idea why the office had not notified her regarding the results nor the medication. She then physically went there and requested her report and for the doctor to call and its going on day three and has yet to hear from him and at this point I doubt she ever will. So to sum all this up, my mom has had irritable bowls for 5 weeks with ZERO information inspite of the testing and biopsy. I find it extremely disheartening that this doctor had no regard for his patient. I would NOT of given any star but was forced to in order to write this review. I WILL be looking for another Gastro doctor because clearly this one is anything but professional.
