Very caring and respectful environment modeled by Dr Colonjhe, to Jennifer on down through all the office staff. I could go to a closer doctor but i dont think i would receive the same care. In fact in the past...i didnt.

I have posted a review about Dr Calonje several years ago as he has been my Dr for over 14 years. I said it then and Ill say it again that he is extremely caring. A very informative Dr who takes care of his patients.I have referred friends and family to him. You never have a problem getting an appt and you never have to wait in the office.The staff is so nice. Jennifer. Camila Nicole.Not sure everyones names. But they are all nice.I will continue to go to Dr Ron Calonje as long as he is in business. I drive an hour too just to see him.

For the past eight years that I have been going to south Florida health and sports medicine I have never had a bad experience always a pleasure to go there. Highly recommend them.

He is a doctor who believes in 2nd chances,a rare quality today and his assistant Gail is the best she is not only pretty but but will talk to the Dr. To help you get what you want if possible has much carrizma and the staff is great also.

My previous primary care doctor retired and I had been putting off looking for a new doctor. After reading various reviews, I decided to visit Dr Calonjes practice. I could not be more satisfied. The office is incredibly clean, feels safe and runs very efficiently. The actual consult did not feel rushed. In fact, I had ample opportunity to ask as many questions as needed. Great bedside manner!

Amazing service the staff is on point when there for a foot injury and they took me right in the doctor took his time. The service was fast and with a Great attitude, I definitely coming back to this facility.

Extremely unprofessional. Dr. Calonje obviously does not know how to run an office. His communication skills is terrible, he needs to learn how to talk with his patients so there is no room for confusion. His front desk receptionist is RUDE and is in urgent need for a professionalism/etiquette class. If your looking for a professional, caring doctor this is not the place for you! Look elsewhere

Dr. Kalonji is very professional I was referred too him by a old work friend of mine Mr. H recently. He came highly recommended and I would suggest anyone looking at reviews of his practice that he has is excellent in listening and helping me get through my situation with care and consideration.

This place is a joke. I walked in because I had the flu and everything was hurting the receptionist told me that they were not talking walk ins because the didn’t have any doctors all day. I haven’t been able to see the actual Dr is always an assistant that fills in for the Dr. Please do your research before coming to this place. I ended up going to an urgent care and I was diagnostic with Influenza. Your DR should be able to see you whenever you’re in need of. Who needs someone like this. I told him I was switching doctorsThey do t even deserve the 1 star !!!

I am a new patient of Dr. Calonje and from my very first phone call to his office I knew this was the doctor for me. The office staff was incredibly nice and knowledgeable of all the questions I had and immediately gave me an appointment. Once I had my appointment with Dr. Calonje, he was very patient, understanding, and truly took his time with me. At the end of the appointment I felt as if I had a doctor that had known me for years and that I could trust.

Dr. Calonje is one great doctor. We have been seeing him for many years and love visiting him. We (wife and I) trust him without reservation and look forward to all visits. His approach to care is common sense based and will always be direct with you on all issues -- Perhaps his best quality (aside from his expertise).We love the decor of his office -- Incredibly appropriate for a sports medicine doctor. However, friendly and calming for all. His staff shows a we care attitude and work hard to deliver all of the fun things you expect to receive from an office visit -- smiles, politeness, accuracy, and patience.Overall, a quality practice with a great doctor and a support staff. Why would I go anywhere else.

On my first visit, I was greeted by the staff who were very friendly. The office setting is clean and comfortable, no lag time, was taken back at my appointed time. Meeting Dr. Calonje for the first time, I received a very warm reception and he took the time to listen and address my questions and concerns. He is an excellent diagnostician and practitioner. Definitely will be recommending him to family and friends!

The doctor is very warm, familiar, and humane. He is very easy to talk to and I never feel uncomfortable with discussing my problems with him. There is usually no wait at all to be seen by the doctor and the building is a little tough to find at first but super easy once you know where it is. The office staff and doctor speaks to us in Spanish and that helps me and my parents a lot during appointments.

I have to honestly say that after years of dealing with unprofessional doctors that couldn’t assist me in my pain or felt bothered with questions. Dr. Ronaldo has been really a Godsend. He always takes the time to answer and explain any questions I may have. There is usually very little wait if at all in the office and he actually cares and tries to understand what your problems are and get to the root of the issue. The office staff is nice and they have always been very accommodating with any schedule changes or issues. I fully recommend him and I wish I would have discovered his practice years ago! A+

Recently moved to the area and needed to find a new Dr. I must say from the moment you check in your greeted and seen right away!! Leeann was very professional and listened to all my questions , great experience at the office thanks.

Michelle the receptionist charged me $140 when my insurance only calls for me to pay $25 copay .the next day I called and told her that I had called my insurance that had validated my claim and gave me a number for Michelle to call and confirm but she refused to confirm and she told me that I had to wait a month for everything to go thru.I then asked to speak to the office manager (zuma)but she was unavailable and one week later no one called me. Meantime I can’t follow up with their doctor because they don’t know what to do in reference to billing.i only went to them cause they had a good review but this is the worst experience in my book. So disappointed!!

I was very pleased with my experience at South Florida Sports Medicine . I can be a hard critic when it comes down to visiting a doctor office and the people employed by them. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I’m not feeling at all well and the result can be much less than pleasant. I must admit from the time I was greeted by Zulma I felt at peace and knew I was in good care. Doctor Calonje (hope I spelled his name correct ) was very attentive and had so much patience. I am truly grateful and won’t get that awful feeling of dread the next time I dont feel so well. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions also A BIG THANK YOU TO LEEANN THE PA.

Dr. Calonje was very friendly and professional. He seemed genuinely concerned about getting me the most wallet friendly service and did not hesitate to recommend other places where it may be cheaper for certain tests or services. I have been to some Doctors who treat patients like they are on an assembly line, where they are eager to get you out so they can move onto the next patient. I did not feel this way at all at Dr. Calonjes office.

Ive been to many doctors since my auto accident which put me in coma and bed for one year. I finally feel good to know that I have a doctor who I can trust and confident he understands my multiple problems and I often find his advice and experience guide me in the direction best for me. And with my multiple injuries its good to have confidence in the Doctor because it is often overwhelming to me.

Every time I come here there is always 30+ minutes wait. So, this time I took the first appointment of the day, took some time off work and here I am sitting in the lobby waiting AGAIN. Upon asking they told me the doctor isn’t here yet. What? Did they not book doctors calendar? Or they just did not bother to inform me if the doctor is running late due to some reason. I like the doctor but sometimes we have to look at the bigger picture and now I am debating whether to find a new doctor closer to my home

I am very pleased with my visit, I will definitely be choosing Dr. Ronaldo Calonje as my familys doctor. We are new to South Flordia and coming from a small town I felt very comfortable with the care that was provided. He never made me feel like I was being rushed, I appreciate that he took time to really listen and make reccommadations with consideration to what I had to say. I am definitely nervous when it comes to meeting a new doctor and I am so happy that I decided after much research to go to Dr. Calonje. I can also recommend if you are going for the first time to allow yourself at least 30 extra minutes because finding the correct building was a little confusing but the parking valet helped point me in the right direction. As you would expect if you are a new patient the is a little paperwork, they only had 2 sheets which is not much, as soon as I finished I was taken straight to the back with no wait time!

Update: Today I got an injection in the shoulder and I didnt feel a thing. It was absolutely painless and I was surprised by the end because I didnt even know it was done. As usual, it was great service from the office during todays visit. If youre having shoulder pain or need a cortisone shot, then Dr. Ronaldo Calonje is your go-to doctor!Dr. Calonje is one of the most caring doctors I deal with currently.He looks at all issues affecting you —I feel very comfortable going over all my current issues and he goes over everything with positive healthy advice—I have a bunch of unfortunate medical issues from 8 back surgeries to autoimmune disorders including recent bouts of pancreatitis—and Dr. Calonje gives great advice on all...and if he is not thoroughly knowledgeable on a current issue he will research it and by next visit have sage advice on how to work toward great outcomes—he was even able to bring my 13 yr old travel soccer daughter in and by 2nd visit had her on a great path to fix her knee problems—you won’t find better than Dr. Calonje
