‘The Eye Man’ is one of the worst places to go. The service is horrible, I went there because my insurance was going to pay for it, when we got in there, the secretary (if you can even call her that) barely payed attention to what I was saying and she looked angry almost bothered to be helping me. After the horrible treatment we got we sat down only to look down we saw dust and dirt on every shelf. As I looked for glasses the lady told me there was a specific place I could pick out from. I only got ten glasses to pick from, after a few minutes I picked out the ones I liked and sat down. After a whole forty-five minutes of wait I was finally able to see the doctor, who I won’t complain about because she was nice enough. Once I was done with the eye exam (which lasted fifteen minutes) I sat down to check the cost of everything. I talked to them and asked about the cost, the insurance should have covered. Even when they did it was overpriced and not worth the wait. In the end, if you want good service and a selection of glasses then I suggest to run as far as you can from this place, because this place is not for you.

I called 3 times to set up an appointment for my father. The receptionist or front desk lady whatever she is constantly hangs up on me. No wonder why this office has poor reviews. I have an eye exam coming up next month and I am certainly not coming to this office for sure.

Like the doctor.been going there 4 years. The exam is fine. Only one my insurance covers. However the glasses are horrible. Never can use them. They are cheaply mad and the frames are crooked.

The lady at the front desk or who ever it is sounds like she needs some dick in her life. I asked for her to simply repeat a phone number to me and she tried to cover the phone and say Oh my god as if I couldnt hear her real dumb attitude having ass. -Justin R

I think the rating for this office is fair. The doctors are good, but the service and the quality of the products are horrible. The office has to change their policy of booking multiple appointment at the same time, treat patients with compassion and improve the quality of their products.I posted a truthful review a month ago. Now I dont see it any longer. I had an eye exam and ordered my glasses. I saw better without the new glasses, and was told to schedule a re-exam.1st time I came for re-exam, They couldnt find my appointment, 2nd time after waiting for 45 minutes, I was told that that there were 2 more patients ahead of me which would take another hour. I aske to reschedule for another day as the first appointment, so that I wouldnt have to wait. When a week later I came to the office before the opening time, there were other people waiting. There were multiple appointment scheduled for 9am. I was told that other people take priority, because my appointment was just for recheck. At that time I left and gave my honest review to the service of this office. I received an apologetic call from the manager who offered to re-schedule my appointment at another location. When I came to that appointment, I was told: I was just going to call you, the doctor had to cancel. I left to never return. Then I received a call from the regional manager who offered to return the money for my glasses. I received the check for $98. Of cause, the insurance already paid for my glasses and my yearly exam. I went to a different office, had my exam and ordered new gasses. The original prescription was correct, but the glasses were done wrong, and the quality of the material was bad.I think the rating for this office is fair. If i could give this place no stars i would. Extremely unprofessional, rude and a huge waste of money! If you have a minute read this review and avoid this place... I went there on a Tuesday with cash in hand. I asked the lady what was the total cost of all the services she was providing me for that day and she said around 140-160 depending on which exams i get and which glasses i choose. Which is fine cause i had brought that much. I was scheduled for just a regular glasses exam but the doctor recommended contacts so he can give me some in the mean time while i wait for the glasses. I agreed and did the exam. After all the exams i went ahead and asked the lady how much everything was going to come out to and she said 159. i paid her the money and came back on Friday when they called me that my glasses were ready for pick up. The next day the lady that i asked twice about the price and took care of my glasses fitting called me back saying that i never paid for the exam. Mind you i had asked twice how much everything was gonna cost and paid cash. When i tried to explain my story and that they messed up she became EXTREMELY rude and would not let me talk. She threaten to put me into collections if i didnt pay then hung up on me and even had the nerve to say i didnt pay for my previous visit A YEAR AGO when i know for a fact my insurance covered the visit a year ago... I didnt even mention how crappy my glasses came out with the glue super visible like a child super glued the lenses to the frame. If you can.. FIND somewhere else cause i guarantee you, you can find better service at 2 times the better price.

NO STARS!! The doctor not bad but the service for actual glasses HORRIBLE. 3 times Ive been there, there is ALWAYS a customer complaining. Took my son in for an exam, he had new frames from his previous doctor (other office). His prescription changed, they claimed the couldnt use his orginal frames. I HAD to buy new ones.Cheap horrible frames broke and they wont fix. Why they couldnt use his original frames, in great condition, is beyond me except for trying to cash in on the insurance. DO NOT GO THERE FOR GLASSES UNLESS YOURE FORCED TO BY YOUR INSURANCE.

Giving this place a one star is pushing it. Horrible horrible when you walk in the people that work up front are extremely rude unprofessional this place should be CLOSED DOWN. The guy that sits in the front in does absolutely nothing besides talk about people and fixes his hair. Dont go here please find somewhere else. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Horrible!!! I brought my 4 yr old in because she was squinting. The Dr was EXTREMELY short with her. She was only 4, you need to have a little patience, especially after we had to wait over 30 minutes after our appointment to be seen. He dilated her eyes and then took another patient and made my daughter wait another 45 minutes with that crap in her eyes. The end result was him telling my my daughter was extremely near sighted and she needed expensive glasses. He gave me this whole speech on her having learning issues unless I made her wear the glasses all the time. He even gave me a print out about all the ways she could fall behind in school because of her vision issues. This of course scared the crap out of me so I did some research and found a pediatric ophthalmologist that came highly recommended and took her in for a second opinion. He was so gentle with her, took his time and explained to me that the other dr was full of it. Most children were mildly nearsighted and she would most likely grow out of it. she did not need glasses and I didnt need to worry about learning delays... Apparently this is just a scare tactic some drs use to make sales....

My experience was ok with The Eye Man. Im still wondering why I had to pay a lil more than half for my glasses when Im under the age of 22. My insurance said that I was fully covered but I was still paying half to receive my glasses. I want to switch to contacts, but that may end up being an expensive hassle in itself.

The customer service is horrible! Fern at the front desk must be very unhappy in her personal life because she is rude and unprofessional. Its sad that a small business lost 3 regular patients due to a lack of positive vibes in the office.

They may be taking advantage of seniors. Stinks- Terrible- Hey Eye Man. Rude people dirty place. DO NOT USE THEM

Horrible!!!!! The old lady at the desk was incredibly rude, the rest of the staff was terribly incompetent. The kept giving me random prices without checking my insurance or what they had in stock. I had to wait an hour and I can in for contacts, and the guy kept trying to convince me to get glasses and would not listen! Do not go here!!!!
