Incredibly rude pharmacy staff. Prior to handing them my prescription I was told the wait time would be 30 mins, which was fine by me. After handing my prescription over, which only consisted of 1 item… they told me it would be an hour and half wait. I politely told replied, that is too long and decided to go to Walmart on 14/van dyke where I was taken care of within 10 minutes and also the staff there are incredibly friendly. Experience was worlds apart! Meijer sucks in general anyway. Come to think of it… not sure why I didn’t just go Costco or Walmart to begin with.

I waited 3 days for my prescription to be delivered. After that they took another 2 days after that because they wanted to verify with my doctor because it was a new prescription. They couldnt have done that the first 3 days while we waited for delivery?

My dad needed Norco for pain after a surgery. Suffice to say, it is going into day two and we have not received the medication. We have called multiple times and have been promised that the prescription will be done in an hour. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this pharmacy. The pharmacists are aloof as well.

Lets be honest a lot of the negative reviews here are just from frustrated patrons which I understand. I have used a lot of pharmacies in the past and they are all plagued with the same problems. We live in a world where a ton of people use meds on the daily so I take some occasional delays with a grain of salt. That being said everyone here has always been friendly and as helpful as possibleOn a side note to the guy who said it took fifteen minutes to walk to the pharmacy, who also has all 1 star reviews except for his buddies FLEA MARKET that you admitted to never going to!!! The average human can walk a mile in 15 minutes and people as well as businesses rely on ACCURATE reviews not made up exaggerated BS...your type skews the whole purpose of reviews

Usually have what I want. The issue I have is that there are never enough lanes open. Some of us are not comfortable using the self checkout lanes. I feel like it’s taking jobs away from people.

Always ready when promised. They provide updates of when the prescriptions has been initiated. They inform when will be ready and when ready for pickup. They make the process uncomplicated. Some items free for 90 days. Generics but they are the best fit for me probably for you as well. Take your list there for their price. You might just be surprised.

Horrible pharmacy. I received a text that said the medicine was ready. Went to the drive through and was stuck there for over 20mins and couldnt leave due to how the store has the lane set up. FINALLY got to the window and was told that they messed up my prescription and it actually was not ready. Never go here. Ive tried many times and it doesnt matter if you are inside or outside

The pharmacy line was at least a 45 minute wait. There were two people working for both inside and out. There were 7 cars outside waiting and at least 6 people inside. The girl at the window moved like a snail and wouldn’t get off her stool. I have also had numerous issues with my meds not being ready and they had to special order. Terrible service.

I have been coming to this pharmacy since January 2019 because this is where my husband gets his prescriptions because its close to his work. He has been ill and I have made 6 trips for him. None of these trips have been pleasant or successful. Each time I have dropped off or called in a prescription there has been a problem.Dropping off prescriptions have had a pattern, I ask how long, they give me a time. I come back at that time and its not filled. They give me another time. I come back, I am always given a reason why its not ready ( they cant read the name, they are unsure what is ordered), which lats me know the first time they gave me was a fantasy.Calling in is just as frustrating. Today it took a 15 minute phone to confirm a prescription was called in and filled. Part of the problem was the young womans accent but a bigger part was she seemed unclear about checking to see if a prescription was filled that we didnt have a number for... BECAUSE it was a new prescription that was called in by his doctor.I dont know if the issue is they are poorly trained, understaffed or have constant turnover but this is a poorly run pharmacy. Go elsewhere. When my husband is better, he will go elsewhere.I go to the Meijers Pharmacy at 12 Mile and Mound, they are fine. Its a very smooth process. The 16 Mile and VanDyke Pharmacy is awful.

Normally love this place. But today they made me mad. I had my prescription filled on The 11th. Got there today on the 16th expecting it to be ready bc I never got the text message saying it was. Then I get there they say they never got it. In the app it shows it was refilled on the 11th at that prescription. The woman who was up front didnt catch her name didnt want to know. And she got snippy with me because I guess I was wrong. But um like that isnt my fault that you guys screwed up . And then she tells me it will take 20 mins to get it and I have places to be so I had to leave as Im on my way home 5 mins later I get a text that it is done. Im so over this place rn

I was in yesterday picking up my children’s antibiotic after the doctors visit which can be pricey I don’t have insurance but Myers Games free Free antibiotic it was a 15 minute wait but well worth it the pharmacist and the staff was friendly nice great pharmacy

They seem to be constantly understaffed, and the pharmacy runs slow as molasses even when there arent any other customers around. Never EVER come here to fill a prescription at the beginning of the year when everyone is getting new insurance. There was one person working the whole pharmacy, and I had to wait an hour in line as they tried to enter in everyones new information or fix problems. They really need to staff better for times like this!

Awful experience today. Very disorganized . Pick up meds took more than 30 min to receive from the drive thru window. Meds were supposedly ready. Staff has no customer service whatsoever. Pharmacy techs Heather and Kayla were rude and had a lot of attitude for no reason. Been coming here for years since its conveniently located near my home but will be changing due to the unprofessionalism.

The drive thru has been closed for months. I had to park at the other end of the store since the entrance doors near the pharmacy are under construction (closed). It took me 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the pharmacy. I stood in line 20 minutes because they are under staffed. AVOID THIS PHARMACY.UPDATE: The drive thru is open but very very slow. Each time I go there is a person in front of me and I wait 20+ minutes. I will no longer go to this pharmacy.

This was my first visit with this Meijer pharmacy location, from the beginning I received attitude from the office clerks and the pharmacist. I am a pretty easy going person, but after the way they treated me I decided to ask for my prescription back and take my business somewhere else. I will not be returning to this pharmacy.

More times than not, the wait is excrutiating, mainly because the staff is clueless about customer service. Usually, its one customer who monopolizes the one cashiers s time with ridiculous holdups like calling their doctor about a prescription, and the cashier not having the sense to take this person out of the line and continue waiting on other people till she resolves her issues. Compounding the problem is that no one else behind the desk steps up and help when the line gets long. I guess its not their job.

Never have my meds in stock. Takes any where from 2 to 5 days to get a refill. The meijer rx app is not very helpful. They frequently change the amount of pills that my doctors prescribe.

If you have the patience of a saint, then I recommend Meijer Pharmacy. If, on the other hand you dont want to wait for clerks who move slower than molasses, I suggest you go to a professional pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens. I no longer believe in grocery pharmacists.

Before 2 years ago the service is so perfect,,,Now is so scandal.I call and I told her I have refill I be there 1 hour to pick up ,,,she say okkkkkkkkAfter 2 hours I be there to pick up--she say wee not have her now need same day to bring here okkkkkkkkk I call you ,,and you get all my info by phone way you told me to come pick up after 1 hour ,,,,is not 1st problem ,,,,we have more and more ,,,,the new staff have now need more training
