I went here after being turned away by MedExpress for a pre-employment drug screening. Wow, what a difference! I would definitely choose this place again if given the option.First, unlike MedExpress, you can schedule an appointment online or by calling in advance. This way, you know you wont be turned away for an extremely time-sensitive test like a drug screen. After doing this, I received numerous reminders via text. I could even check in from my car on my phone and was greeted at the front door when I walked up and immediately taken back for my test. I was literally in and out in about FIVE MINUTES!!!Second, because this is primarily a diagnostic and screening facility, you have a far lower chance of exposure to potential illnesses that you would waiting in the poorly time-managed urgent care facility that also claims to offer these screening services.Finally, I see a few reviews stating that they feel the employees here could be friendlier. Ill counter by saying that I dont expect the red carpet to be rolled out and my hand held when Im going to a place to provide a specimen. I want simple, quick. and convenient services provided by competent individuals... and not to be turned away for a test that literally has my career on the line.Just be sure to go on their website as they have limited hours and you can secure an appointment (although walk-in service is available but not guaranteed). Trust me, you dont want to go to another facility.

Yesterday 8/27 whoever the lady was working, was very rude to me and other patients. She was rolling her eyes and not being helpful to others who didn’t know what they were doing..

On 10/21 I went for my blood test, whoever the employee was working, was very rude to me.

I am so happy that Quest Diagnostics opened an office at this location. Way more convenient than going to the hospital or one of the large medical centers. I have used Quest several times and found that the place was never crowded and that there was always plenty of nearby parking. They have an easy check-in system in the lobby where I typed in my identification and was seen in no time. That staff has always been friendly and competent. Quest makes getting blood drawn almost a pleasant experience!

I walk in and check in the system tells me I have 15 minutes until Im called I wait my 15 minutes and then somebody walks in with an appointment and Im waiting for half an hour somebody else walks in for an appointment and Im still waiting this is a waste of time. Do not waste your time here the system is putting appointment before you even if you walked in half an hour ago. It should be closed down

AWFUL. They said I would receive COVID-19 results in 24-48 hours. It has been 96 hours and no results. We keep trying to call their phone number to get through to someone. We waited for 2 hours on different days, no one got on the line to help us. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My first visit to Quest was in mid-July. My lab order had 20+ vials on it. Pam was amazing at getting the blood drawn - my veins dont always cooperate.My second visit to Quest was late-July. I brought a test kit ordered by my MD. Pam was super helpful in mailing the kit in for me after doing the blood draw.My most recent visit to Quest was today. There was no wait time at lunch for a walk-in. We had to contact my doctor for clarification on my bloodwork, which Pam did not mind doing.The lab is clean, check in process is easy & the tech are super friendly. I highly recommend this lab.

I have to get bloodwork done pretty frequently and have been going to this location for a while now. Every time I go there, I have a great experience! I normally make an appointment the day before and am always taken back right away! The staff is always super friendly and they are very skilled at what they do. This place is fast, convenient, clean and I would recommend this to anyone in need of lab services!

Still waiting for my test result. Its been a month. No one is answering emails or phone calls. Its like they just stealing peoples personal info and not performing the lab work.

I would have given negative rating if possible. Extremely rude staff! My husband also had the same experience a few weeks back! Would definitely NOT going to this Quest in future.

I have been coming here weekly since the beginning of this year for testing required for a medication Im on, so Ive gotten to know the routine and the people pretty well. I cant say I enjoy weekly blood draws, but I can say that I enjoy both of the phlebotomists. Theyre good at what they do, and fun to be around. I recommend an appointment, as foot traffic is unpredictable, but theyre easy to make online, and if you dont have one you probably wont be waiting terribly long. The only thing I found confusing, the first time I went, was that there isnt anyone at the window. Theres a touch screen for sign-in, and even if you just want to ask a question you can sign in and someone will come out for you. One other advantage of Quest in general, too, is that if you have the MY Quest app you can see your lab results as soon as theyre available. Its all good.

Currently showing as Permanently Closed but its newly opened (or re-opened?) as of September 2018. Actual location is to the left of Giant, next to Cartridges Galore and Insight Eye Care.I had a test done there this morning and it was as quick and professional as can be. The staff is great as well. Ive very glad I dont have to drive all the way down to Carlisle anymore.

Their billing department is a mess & incredibly frustrating to deal with!They keep sending me invoices for 2 small bills that I paid 3 months ago. Ive called them 4 times, written them once & sent a copy of the cancelled check showing they cashed it.Every time I talk to them I get a different person who tells me something different. Sometimes they say they have no record of my payment & other times they say they see the payment on their screen, but it hasnt been posted yet to the billing department.I suggest everyone carefully review any invoices from Quest for errors since they evidently are not very good at billing.

Its a very nice place, they just opened two weeks ago. It was empty so I didnt have to wait at all. Im terrified of needles but the phlebotomist was very understanding and made the whole process as quick and painless as possible. There was no digging around in my arm to find the vein.

Super clean, super quick and super efficient! Very friendly staff who made my visit enjoyable!

Results were to come back within 24-48hrs. Its been 5 days and cant even get anyone on the phone or email.

Terrible experience.. very rude staff. Highly recommend using another diagnostics provider. I will be urging my company to remove them from their vendor list

I came in to quest for the first time ever on August 26th. It was neat and tidy. Everyone was very polite and professional especially their lab tech Pam. Im a phlebotomist myself and I was very impressed with her skills and confidence. I look forward to going to her in the future.

Avoid using Quest if at all possible. Ask your physician to refer you to another testing company.Their billing department is a mess and their customer service is even worse.They sent me to a Collection Agency for invoices I had paid even though I had sent them proof of payment several times and called them 4 times. Every time I called I got someone different who acknowledged they had received my check & cashed it. However, they advised the payment wasnt applied to the invoices because I sent 1 check for 2 different bills. However, they promised to correct their records and mark the bills as paid. Instead, they sent me to a collection agency for non-payment.I dont know whats wrong with Quest but, I urge you to avoid using them to possibly save yourself an immense hassle & potential damage to your credit rating.

If youre doing a qnatal, dont expect to get the results back fast. They take forever.

Quest is a disorganized mess of a company. Ive visited this specifc lab (Northland Plaza State College) several times and have had a host of issues. Issues range from corporate policies, dysfunctional website/appointment systems, and poor staffing. Some Examples: 1. Multiple issues with Quest not accepting a written order from Penn State Hershey Physicans because of very rigid and unnecessary Quest policies. 2. After making an appointment and checking in with their fancy kiosk, the lab technician informed me (15 minutes later) that I hadnt checked in despite being told otherwise by their system. She then proceeded to check me in using a very old account from over 15 years ago which did not have all the correct information or previously validated information from the online appointment process. 3. Due to being checked in under an old account, my lab work did not automatically show up in my online account. I spent almost an hour with Quest Customer Service reps trying to merge or sort out the account mess to no avail. 4. Have been told I owed money before services were rendered when my insurance covers 100% of lab diagnostics and has done so EVEN FROM THEM in the past.Needless to say, Im done with Quest Diagnostics. Mt Nittanys Lab made it very simple and accepted the order as previously written by my physician. They also made it very easy for future visits and eliminated the formal checkin process. Kudos to them. Quest, you need some work because you are throwing business away with your poor management and business policies. If you need a lab, go somewhere other than Quest!
