Can I give 0 stars?Several years ago Mother had workers from this agency. We rented an apartment in Stamford with a beige rug, which I took very good care of, hiring Stanley Steamer to clean due to cat making messes on it. I was happy to have a clean rug in a clean apartment. My washer and dryer in the apartment had laundry detergent and bleach handy for me and caregivers to use.One day, while I was st work my cat spit up and the idiotic woman from Almost Family used BLEACH on the rug!!! I came home at 5:30 and immediately smelled bleach and saw a large while spot, about 10” in diameter on the rug. Mother said she saw the woman pour bleach on the sponge and scrub the rug. Mother was afraid to speak up. I brought the spit to the attention of the manager of Almost Family . They denied their worker did anything wrong, calling her into the office. Of course she denied using bleach. Liar!When We went to move out we were charged by the Landlord $500 for damage to the rug. I contacted Almost Family corporate asking them to compensate us. I sent pictures of the damage. Again they denied any culpability in the damage and cost their worker cost us.NEVER USE THIS AGENCY if you care about your premises not getting damaged!!!
