I went here for outpatient mental health services. Amazing community, everyone is so nonjudgmental and friendly. The company itself is awesome, with resources from $1 good quality lunches (where else can you get a crappy lunch for $1, let alone a good one?!) to group therapy to assistance with school and getting a job. They helped me study and get financial aid, which I couldnt have done on my own. And its all free! I went to a group about stress management too which was also helpful. Whether you need a lot of help or just want a place to meet understanding people who also have mental illness and get support, I highly recommend checking out Laurel House.

Laurel House is an awesome place to find a variety of high quality services for people who struggle with mental health. They have: residential case management, Employment and Education Specialists who help you get ready for, find, and succeed at school and work, they have psychosocial groups for everything from personal wellness to young adult specific support groups, they offer surprising good lunches to participants in any of their programs for only $1 (!), they have people who can help connect you or loved ones to resources such as therapists and psychiatrists in the area and some even around the country. They have a special program called Thinking Well which is a cognitive remediation program tailored to the individual.Honestly its just a wonderful atmosphere where people who are different can meet and feel accepted and get the help they need in all aspects of their life. And, best part! these services are all FREE.If you couldnt already tell, I highly recommend Laurel House. If you struggle with anything from anxiety to schizophrenia to Aspergers, its worth checking out. The staff are friendly and understanding and attentive to your needs and your goals- their job is to help you get to where you want to be in life, and they work hard to do that.

Denise yelled at me over the phone and I felt disrespected. Her tone of voice was very rude and I wouldnt reccommend going to Laurel House
