EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!R.A. Caldwell Co. Inc.I’ve been trying to get my Dad’s medical supplies covered by insurance for almost a year with no luck. I spoke with Karen and explained the difficulty I was having and she said she would try to assist us. To my surprise, she went the extra mile and figured what the hold up was and quickly got it resolved and now he is receiving his supplies monthly. I can’t express how grateful I am that someone actually listened and cared. All the employees are very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend them for all your medical needs, you won’t be disappointed!

Rehab facility recommended RA Caldwell to rent a hospital bed for my mom when we took her home. The entire staff couldnt be nicer. From the owner Karen to the delivery person. Everyone was very helpful & knowledgable.The bed was ordered and delivered the next morning. Special thanks to Clive who delivered & set up the bed for us. He was patient, courteous & even helped us move some furniture around. We appreciated him wearing his mask despite it being a warm day and him going in and out of the house. Unfortunately, I too had problems with the customer service in this business. The staff can come off very obnoxious and rude. Having a business is more than selling products to the public--its more about taking care of the customer if there is a problem. They seem to lack this concept. I was practically yelled at when I did speak to someone on the phone. This is unacceptable for a paying customer. And even if the issue gets resolved, its the process of getting it resolved thats important to customers. Making customers feel like theyre a burden or not even returning their phone calls is just not good business practice in todays competitive marketplace.

I had a pleasant experience with this store in Stamford. First I bought a manual wheelchair, which I returned with no questions asked. Then I rented a power wheelchair and power scooter. Finally I made a decision and purchased a new power scooter. All were delivered and picked up by knowledgeable personnel. If you live in the area, I recommend RA Caldwell.

Feb. 1 2020 I had been looking for medical masks for a week, when all area retail and on-line stores run out of stock. I find few boxes in R.A. Caldwell. What a life saver. Thank you for managing your inventory so well.

Outstanding customer service! Steve went out of his way to accommodate an urgent request. When we realized another family member had taken care of it he put the pieces together and called back to confirm it was the same request. His follow-through was fantastic and the fact that they were able to fulfill the request was extraordinary.

I didnt have a very positive experience with R A Caldwell Co Inc medical supply store in Stamford, CT. Their staff is extremely rude and obnoxious. I had to make (3) trips to their store to get my problem resolved. This was very disappointing, because they have been serving the Stamford Community for many years. Moving forward, I will not recommend any people to shop there for their medical supplies. Very disappointing with the quality of customer service.

The products are good and they do deliver, but they have very bad service. We bought a wheelchair because they guy said we needed to rent it from the hospital, and because of that, we were charged 25 dollars when we couldn’t even use it!
