5 stars for the in office experience (I haven’t gotten my bills yet). I think it’s important to recognize that this is not an urgent care and I wouldn’t recommend for more simple things because it will take longer and be more expensive. The way I thought of it was a much more relaxing ER experience. I knew I needed X-rays and this place had an x ray tech and doctor so I wouldn’t be sent all over the place like can happen with urgent cares.

Great customer service. Was seen immediately. Really professional and courteous. Had some issues with the co-pay but I dont believe it was the staffs fault at all.

Ive been to this Immediate Care Center several times in the past, with mixed experiences, some good (finger stitching, broken bones), some bad (missed diagnosis). A while ago, I took my second grader for what looked like a concussion and was told she was fine. I had to take her to the ER the next day, were she got a CAT scan and was diagnosed with a concussion (for which shes was in therapy for two months). So I would recommend the place for little booboos, but I would go to a facility where they have more advanced equipment for more serious issues. Either way, you WILL be referred to another place (whether the ER at the Stamford hospital, or a specialist). I will mention, however, that everyone has always been very friendly, from the receptionist to the nurses, doctors and billers, and that triage is quite efficient. Never had to wait for serious matters.

Please note that this place bills as an outpatient hospital visit (similar to emergency room) and not an urgent care. I was not notified of the difference until after my visit. My charge was several times more expensive because of this difference.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I sliced halfway through my finger and had to have it glued back together. I also got a tetanus booster. We drove to two other urgent care centers while I had my hand wrapped in a bloody towel and were turned away because they were only treating covid patients. We saw Tully Immediate Care nearby, checked it was in network with our insurance, and drove in. As other reviewers say, the billing here is extremely predatory. We were charged separately by the provider (about $300 after insurance for the act of looking at and gluing my finger, which was billed as an office/facility visit and skin procedure) and then an additional $300 by Stamford Health just to step foot in this facility. I asked the woman in customer service if this charge was just to step foot in the facility somewhat sarcastically and she literally said YES, in all seriousness. I asked for an itemized bill and she also told me it wont be helpful and acted like this is some onerous request and not a completely normal request. They should NOT be allowed to call themselves immediate or urgent care when they are charging patients like they are visiting an ER, where this kind of billing is common. They are deceiving people like me who know when to visit urgent care (always except for the most extreme injuries to avoid this kind of rampant over-billing) and when to go to an ER, and I am sure they are hurting patients who do not have the means to be paying these truly insane bills. Shameful.

Don’t waste your time and money by going here. Worst experience inadequate help. Took husband with a very deep cut requiring stitches. Three hours later was handed a band aid because they claimed too late. Demanded X-ray not necessary Now we received a bill over $1,000.00. They did nothing! Outrageous! Do NOT GO

0 STARSTHIS IS NOT AN URGENT CARE, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU LIKE YOU ARE VISITING AN ERI went in for a gum infection and I was charged over $1,000 for a doctor to give me a bottle of antibiotics and to tell me to go to the dentist. When I called about the bill, they offered me a payment plan (apparently a lot of people cant afford to pay their bills all at once because they are ripping off people). I asked why the bill was so much and they told me that I had visited an emergency room, not an urgent care, so obviously a visit to the emergency room would be more expensive. But if this is an emergency room, why does Stamford Health Immediate Care only appear when you search for an urgent care and not an emergency room? Any other CT urgent care would charge me about $100 without insurance.

Very nice staff at front desk and nice nurses.Did not actually see an MD, just a PA.If you want to see an MD, probably not the place to go, as I always seem to see a PA or NP there (Tully is run by mid levels).I guess thats fine if your issue is not complicated

I was happy with the treatment I received at this urgent care center, but the billing experience was irredeemably bad. I went in with a foot injury, had x-rays taken, had the results explained to me, and left. The bill before insurance totaled nearly $2500. For comparison, I broke a bone in my other foot a year earlier, and the AFC Urgent Care in Stamford billed me less than $250 for the same services. I received three separate bills: one from Stamford Hospital for a facility fee and incidentals, one from the physician assistant who treated me for an office visit, and another from a third-party radiology lab. Because the bills all showed different addresses and did not link to each other in any way, my insurance said I was responsible for an urgent care copay and an office visit copay, even though there was only one visit. Surely Stamford Health could do a better job communicating this in their billing process. After lengthy discussion with my insurance, they agreed that it was in fact one visit and I should not be responsible for two copays. My insurance reached out to Stamford Health for further documentation and told me the issue had been resolved. The physician assistant finally stopped hounding me for payment. Then, five months later, they began incessantly emailing and texting me again, trying to collect the bill that had already been resolved by my insurance. It took another month to sort out after that. This was a giant headache that could have been avoided if this urgent care center had more transparent billing practices. I would not go back.

DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand.Like others who have written reviews, I had to pay a co-pay when I went in for my visit, then a month later I was charged a $397 facility fee and also received a second co-pay because they contract our their doctors. None of this was explained to me during my visit. Also, they bill as an ER, not an urgent care, so most insurances will not cover the visit since most visits you make to an urgent care and are none life threatening and do not require an ER visit. Stamford Health IMMEDIATE CARE might want to work on their branding and call themselves an ER if that is what they are going to bill as. Terrible experience.

Um, I wish you could give negative stars. Had a rash on my face, whole visit was pointless. Doctor didn’t seem to care. Could have did a better job diagnosing myself. This isn’t my first negative experience here either, went several years ago because I was feeling sick, they refused antibiotics and I ended up with walking pneumonia a few days later. I guess nothings changed. Stay away, if you can!

Had the most bizarre experience a few months back: I had surgery on my nose to fix a deviated septum that was causing breathing issues. This caused me to have some slight bruising under my eyes. About a week after surgery I developed a pretty bad ear infection due to my plugged up sinuses. I went to this urgent care to get some antibiotics and when the doctor walked in she was incredibly abrasive to me. Instead of greeting me and asking what was wrong, she walked up to me and started lifting up my shirt to place her stethoscope on my bare skin. She continued with the hostile, one word behavior and finally looked me in the eye and asked what happened to your face? in an aggressive tone. I told her that was recovering from the surgery and her tone immediately changed. She all of the suddenly was so friendly to me and laughed about how she thought i was a domestic violence victim. I was baffled. Even if i was dealing with domestic violence, why on earth would you ever treat someone that way? These doctors truly, desperately need some sort of training on being trauma informed. I hope to god no one who is dealing with any abuse issues ever goes there to seek asylum.

I would give this place a 0 if I could. They charge you twice your copay. One for the facilities and one for the doctor. An employee said that their own insurance there doesn’t always go through and they have received bills themselves for $2,000+. They said that you can call them and give them your insurance and they will simply charge you another copay. Two copays for one visit? I’m extremely nervous about receiving my bills after reading these other reviews. I talked to the insurance specialist and she assured me that I would “only get two bills” but you have to call to get the doctor bill reduced. Don’t go. Even beside the pay, the doctor was extremely rude and just kept saying that my “symptoms are weird”.

Patients beware! Please go to another Urgent Care Facility in Stamford. You will be billed twice for this visit -- first from Stamford Hospital for use of facility, and the second bill will be directly from the healthcare provider that you see as Tully Health contracts out all physicians/PAs/NPs. The result is an exorbitant total bill that completely undermines the proposition of a more affordable urgent care trip. I have never seen such a set up by a facility labeling themselves as Urgent Care, this basically equates to an ER visit, without the urgency or quality of care. Im shocked that these are legal billing practices as this will NOT be explained to you as a patient at the front desk. Please be informed before you go!!

We are sorry it looks like we had some trouble locating your name in the system and it looks like your insurance is not active. Here is your bill for 459$.72 I am still trying to get my insurance to reimburse me for this visit

I was in Stamford on business and developed a large, very painful blister on my arm that was hot to the touch. I went in after work one day hoping to receive ointment or something to treat this blister, but the incredibly rude doctor looked at it for half a second before deciding it was a zit. He told the nurse to pop it and left the room. I questioned her about it being warm to the touch and being so painful as I have had plenty of zits and knew that this wasn’t a zit, but she just agreed with the doctor.Well, lo and behold, it came back two days later, and a new one was forming just below it. I decided to wait until I got home to go to an urgent care I trust, and the difference between the two experiences was like night and day. The doctor determined it was a staph infection, prescribed an ointment, and the blisters were gone for good within a few days.Would give 0 stars if I could to stop others from wasting their time or money at this place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went for one of the issues listed for immediate care visits. The entire thing took 10 min, the doc didnt even touch me, just wrote a prescription. Then I received the hospitals bill for $100+ and then the doctors absurd bill from Emp of Fairfield County. They charged me $500+. This is ridiculous and I will never go back to Tully! They should be ashamed of themselves for working with a group like Emp of Fairfield County!

Worst experience I have ever had. I had stomach pain and all symptoms of salmonella poisoning. I had no signs of appendicitis however they were unwilling to prescribe me the antibiotics I needed, and only medical suggestions such as Imodium, which would not help me. I spoke with 3 doctors and they all said that I needed to go to the ER at the hospital to get any antibiotics. I did not want to spend 1000$ + in getting something I already knew I needed. The doctors were all rude with me and every time they left the room they would say rude remarks about me not wanting to go to the hospital. I had no choice but to go to the ER because they would not give me the antibiotics I needed. I ended up with a 1500$ hospital bill after insurance to only receive the medicine I knew I needed. I will never go here again

Awful experience. I went in for a UTI and they said they took my insurance. I paid a copy of $50, and then weeks later got a bill for $30 from acute care (to pay for the doctor services), and was told I will also get another facility bill. And meanwhile they gave me the wrong antibiotics, and I had to switch midway. BEWARE — any other urgent care visit is just one copay and done. Here you end up with multiple bills and spending over $100 when all is said and done — and thats WITH insurance.
